In the guest bedroom, you'll find a twin over full bunk bed for TV lounging. The fully equipped kitchen offers ocean views, and there's ample seating in the living room. Dine or host game night at the six-seat dining table with a view. Perfect summer stay

Outstanding getaway!

We loved the proximity to the beaches, the amazing view of the beach and pier. Very quiet and easily accessible to restaurants and shopping. It was a perfect get away for our family, but would be great for a couple also!

Amelia Island Concours Trip

Ketch Courtyard 406

The beach front location and ocean view were amazing! The beach access was a short, easy walk across the board walk. The sunrises were spectacular. Stacie, Jaimee and Pam thought of every detail. The condo had EVERYTHING we needed. Upon arrival, each tv was set to tranquil ocean scenes and the curtains open to my Atlantic view. The guest guide had so much valuable information as well as local discounts. I would definitely stay here again and recommend this property! We will be back!

Nice beachfront stay

The condo has a great view, nice place overall. The owners could stand to upgrade the beds and the showers are very difficult to control the temperature. Also the beams outside the condo appeared to be rotting away. The condo served our needs and the location right on the beach was great. We would stay here again but the owners could stand to put a few dollars to upgrade a few things. Very clean with COVID restrictions.

Just what we were looking for!

From the initial description of the property to departure, this was an easy process and delivered exactly as promised. Communication was on target and all went very well. This healthcare worker needed a much overdue break and we could not have picked a better location. The condo was comfortable, quiet, the views awesome, and the sound of the surf was music to my ears. If I would offer an opportunity for improvement, it would be to add a sound bar to the TV. Sound quality poor. However, if that is the only detractor, it's not worth avoiding this gem! The real complaint? Not having more time to spend here!

Car Show stay

I came down for the Amelia Island Concours. The location was excellent; just a few short miles away. It's an older, non descript building that is on the small side for condo buildings, which I actually prefer. The unit was a nicely updated two bedroom and probably best located in the building; upper floor, end unit. The check in process was a bit trying; I was told to expect a text between 3:30 and 4 pm with the access code and the code came at 4:01!. But it came. There were several issues with the condo; the cable was out in the living room which the management company was unable to address prior to my arrival. I was able to correct on my own (the cable box needed to be re-booted; a process that required 30 minutes). Plus the screen to the slider door fell off that I had to re install. The management company communicates primarily with text messaging; I wasn't overly confident that if there was a serious issue with the unit that it would be addressed in a timely fashion. By the time all the management fees were added up the condo was terribly over priced (I paid less for a ski in ski out condo at Deer Valley, Utah!) but I booked late. I would stay again but not at this price.

Bad outweighs the good

For the price you have to pay, the bad outweighs the good. To be fair, I’ll list both. The good: Wonderful view of beach. Very nice to have corner unit so you can see the shoreline from windows including the second bedroom. Updated interior. The bad: #1) We were hit with a very strong mildew odor the minute we walked in the door. I called the property mgmt number and she basically told me that they aren’t aware of any odor and there was nothing they can do. I was extremely disappointed in the lack of concern for the issue - and honestly surprised. They have a paper on the fridge saying to call if there are any issues, saying “they can’t fix it if they don’t know about it”. Clearly that isn’t the case. This is the last thing you wanted to be greeted with after a long drive. After smelling it for two days I bought some cleaning products and cleaned the floors. I don’t know for sure, but think the cleaning service is using dirty mops and rags to clean with because after I “re-cleaned” the smell was much better. #2) The curtains in the master bedroom are very thin and block ZERO sunlight in the morning. The room was filled with so much blinding sunlight every morning at 6am that we had no choice but to get up. Am I the only one who wants to sleep in past 6am while on vacation? It boggles my mind that a such a obvious detail would be left when so easy to fix. #3) Although the interior is updated, it isn’t in the best shape for the amount of money it costs to rent. Furniture is stained and dirty in places and rusty metal siding on balcony. #4) After the second night we found long black hairs in the bedsheets and then later in the “clean” towels. We do not have long black hair so kinda gross to not have these things cleaned properly before our arrival. I’m sure the property manager will reply and say that had they know they would have fixed it… but honestly, after speaking to her the first night and her showing no concern for the smell, why would I spend the time to call again? All in all, would not recommend or return. Other than the view, you do not get your moneys worth.

This place is amazing- the cleanliness, accuracy of photos, check-in process, communication and check-out process were all fabulous. We couldn’t have been happier with our choice and will be back again without a doubt. If you’re trying to decide where to stay while in Amelia, look no further - this is THE place.

Great Vacation

We had a wonderful time staying at Ketch 406 - it was very clean, and in a great location! The beach and pool were not crowded, which was comforting with the rising Covid numbers. We will definitely stay here again!

Great week!

The location was fantastic, and the balcony outside both the living room and bedroom overlooking the ocean was wonderful. The condo was well equipped and very clean. And everything went very smoothly, from check in to check out. They made it easy. And communication was great. Any questions we had while we were there were answered within minutes. I’d definitely stay another time.
