The house was perfect for our family’s annual “men’s” getaway. The boat dock was perfect along with the outdoor tables at the main house. Perfect for card games.

This is a beautiful house with plenty of room for our group of 8 adults and 3 children. Very clean and well stocked. The dock was a great location to enjoy Norris Lake. The tram is a wonderful way to get down to the dock but the lake was 9 ft down due to the drought so the steps down to the dock with no handrail were difficult for some in our group. The host is very responsive and the check in was easy.

This is the 2nd time we have rented this house and it is absolutely perfect for our family. The tram is ideal; I’ve rented places that have over 100 steps, never again !Ed is very responsive and helpful. Pretty sure we will rent this house again.Jackie

We stayed at Afternoon Sun for a long weekend bachelorette trip. We will be back to this property for friend vacations in the future. We had issues with the tram on our last day and the communication and response from not only our host, Ed, but the property manager/maintanence, Corey and Shawn, exceeded all expectations. The hospitality we received from everyone was above and beyond. We were so appreciative of how quickly everyone worked together to get the tram back up and running for us to enjoy our last day on the dock!! Highly recommend Twin Cove for boat rentals, the drive was easy and again, the customer service is unmatched! Already looking to booking our next stay. The hottub wasn’t working while we were there but we lucked out with fantastic weather and got to spend the most of our time down by the water with incredible views from the double decker dock!

Beautiful property on a quiet lake with plenty to do outside and in the surrounding area! Perfect place for a long weekend to unwind.

The trip was amazing! Beautiful property and the house was the perfect size for the amount of people in our group. The trolly down to the lake was nice and smooth and the dock was a perfect spot to hang out on the water. Short drive off the highway and about 20 min from Twin Cove Marina to pickup any rentals. Highly recommend!

My family and I stayed at this house for five nights. The house is very nice and as described in the description. We really enjoyed the dock and tram is a leg saver!

Nice location, huge accommodations

Overall the house, dock and location were great. The overall cleanliness of the house and dock area needed a little attention. The house was very spacious and had many areas for our family and friends to gather.

Nice cove off the main channel.

Great location. Marina across the cove is great to rent from. Everything was a hit with the group. The dock, the tram, the fire pit. Great weekend.

We had a few days with our whole family at this cabin. (total of 14 people) the cabin held everyone very comfortably. There were plenty of bathrooms, and the kitchen supplied everything we needed for our meals. Not only was it a great place for our stay, but it was a beautiful setting with a great dock that held our rented boat and jet ski. the views were beautiful, and had time of relaxation and enjoyment.

Awesome views!!!!

We absolutely love the place! The views of the wild live was my 5 year olds favorite thing! Fire pit and spacious kitchen were also a hit! We will be back!!!!

Location was very convenient, and the house and views from the dock were amazing!! Kitchen was well stocked for lots of cooking. Large home with plenty of room, however very dusty and lots of cobwebs all throughout the home. For this price range expected it to actually be clean. Other than that had a great stay!

We had a wonderful stay! Pictures and description are accurate. The upstairs bedroom did get hot on extremely hot days. The tram was a lifesaver!! You may want to bring your own washcloths and towels depending on how many are in your group. We would definitely return in the future.

Loved our time here, great house great location!

Eight of us stayed in mid May and had a great time. Tons of space for 4 couples and one 8year old each with own bedroom and bath. Had a few issues due to being off season which the owners fixed extremely quickly. The tram was a blessing as we had 2 people with knee issues so they were happy.

Breathtaking view from the dock! The tram made access to the water incredibly easy, and the home itself was spacious enough to comfortably host me and my extended family. It’s an ideal spot for guests who may have difficulty navigating typical Norris Lake properties, which often feature long paths or steep staircases to the dock. We especially appreciated the sturdy, easy-to-use steps leading into the water—perfect for swimmers of all ages. Ed was quick to respond whenever we had questions, making the experience smooth and enjoyable.
