Flying Cloud Airstream at Elk Lake

Bright and spacious Airstream Trailer with a lovely private deck . Fitted out with a dining area, Queen size bed , bathroom, with separate shower .kitchen with stove, oven, fridge/freezer, french press coffee, toaster, kettle & BBQ. on deck We have every thing you need for cooking . Check out the photos.
I also Offer on the first day specialty Bagels with butter jam and peanut butter ,and offer a real treat of a couple of Samosas which I will need to know ahead of time to pick them up it takes 3/4 of hour so some time in your stay it would be my pleasure to get them for you,I love getting the feed back as they are the best you will ever have. These comments are from two years of guess about the Bagels and Samosas .
I have another listing on the property as well named Peaceful Heritage Home at Elk Lake. It is a fully furnished suit with kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom. Perfect if you have a large family and need another space close by. It is called Peaceful Heritage house at Elk lake area. We allow one dog only at the peaceful Heritage home. It also has a private front yard for your dog to relieve himself, and there is a shower outside specially for the dog to rinse him off if he goes to the beach.   it has one queen size bed, so it also only allows two adults, and one dog only no cats as much as I love them I have had very bad experiences with them.

Thank you for allowing us to stay and use your beautiful airstream and property. I've never slept so soundly. We had much needed rest and the flying cloud was the perfect place to do that. I loved all your sculptures and whimsical around the gardens.

I love this space. I love this host. I have stayed twice this Summer. It's super clean, totally adorable, and the energy is MAGIC! It's close enough to all the hustle & bustle so you can quickly get to those places. However, you're out enough to feel a country/nature connection. It's beautiful in so many ways! Gotta check it out. It won't disappoint. 's to Jacky and the Cloud!

Lovely Whimsical Haven

From the 1st interaction with the hostess, Jacky, I knew this was going to be an awesome place. It's out-of-town, but extremely close, like, a 15-minute drive from DT Victoria... Easy access. Jacky is very thorough with the introduction to the property. Some fun history & stories, too! The Airstream has everything you need and has been very nicely cared for. Bed is comfy, lots of stowage for your crap. Nice capacity fridge. The shower is roomy enough, and the hot water runs plenty long. The outdoor kitchen/deck hang-out space is awesome! The whimsy aesthetic, paired with the well-maintained natural beauty that surrounds, makes for a perfectly chill spot to enjoy. Jacky provides special touches throughout the experience. I already rebooked and can't wait to go back!

Awesome glamping

Perfect getaway

Thank you Jacky for your hospitality. The Airstream was an experience we completely enjoyed. The location is ideal for visits to Victoria, Sidney (a gem of a town) & Butchart Gardens. A great escape .

Perfect

For starters, Jacky is the best host we have ever had. She truly makes you feel welcome and helps you settle in nicely. Amazing communication, helpful in every way, and the added touch of bringing the best samosas to you all warmed up and ready is above and beyond! As for the Airstream itself, it is exactly as advertised. If you have experience with staying in an RV Trailer you will find this one perfectly outfitted and comfortable for you. If you have never stayed in one then this is a nice place to give it a try.

Fun and unique camper stay

Great Host, friendly and helpful. Airstream camper a fun stay. Clean, well presented, lots of kitchenware and a nice deck with bbq and seating.

Elk Lake Airstream Trailer

Probably a nice trailer to stay in, but it is just a trailer. We would not describe it as spacious. We stayed one night and then relocated to a hotel in Victoria.

Peaceful and Friendly

We stayed in Jacky & Mike’s Airstream for Thanksgiving weekend. Jacky is the most welcoming host and very helpful. I always wanted to try an Airstream and this was a great way to do it! Highly recommend this special spot.

The Best

Everything was smooth and seamless, check in, finding location and it was very clean. The hostess was amazing, she welcomed us and made us feel at home. The accommodations were more then we expected, we even had our own barbecue. We highly recommend staying here and we would definitely stay here again. We were very happy and satisfied with everything!!!

Simply the best!

From start to finish, this was an awesome stay! Jacky, and Mike are such warm and inviting hosts. You feel like a friend as soon as you meet them. The camper and grounds are so adorable and comfortable. Everything you need is provided, plus lots of extras. The location is close to everything on that end of the island. We explored Butchart Gardens, Victoria, and up the coast to Mystic Beach. All were very close and easy to get to. I would stay here again, and again! I don’t think you could meet Jacky and not love her! She is “simply the best”!

A Cozy Campground

We really enjoyed our stay in The Flying Cloud. The area where the accommodations are located is very well laid out. The airstream is a comfortable abode. The outdoor cooking space is ideal for grilling. There are several nice fruit trees on the premises. Our host and her partner are very kind souls who do all they can to make the stay enjoyable. We very much appreciated the extra ‘little touches’ offered by the hosts.

Glamping at it’s best!

We loved our stay with Jacky and Mike! They are extraordinary hosts who go above and beyond to ensure their guests have a wonderful stay. Their Airstream is super comfortable (especially the bed), we’ll equipped and the surroundings are beautiful and magical when lit up at night. Jacky’s sense of style is everywhere you look, indoors and out. Thank you Jacky and Mike. We’ll be back for another visit!

Lovely unusual accommodation

Unusual and fun vacation stay. Well equipped with everything we needed, plenty of outdoor space, and a nice covered BBQ area. Very helpful and friendly hosts as well. Recommended!

Best place in Victoria

The most beautiful place i have ever stayed. The hosts were the most beautiful and friendly people and we cant forget Blue the beautiful dog who came to visit me everyday. Very clean and private 15 mins maximum to visit most highlights on the island. The accommodations were beyond my expectations clean, beautiful and everything you needed to enjoy your stay. The hostess oven heated samosas for me at 11pm even though i arrived 2 hours late. Beautiful bagel with condements for breakfast. Very beautiful scenery butterflies and birds with beautiful gardens. I will be returning as much as possible to this place as i loved it and didnt want to leave. I would recommend this accommodation for everyone of any age, very relaxing and therapeutic with a lake view and a 10 min walk to said lake. I will always remember my trip to Victoria because of my magnificent hosts and accommodations. It made my trip more enjoyable and memorable. Would definitely recommend 6 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Ill be back next year from Ontario just to visit them again. Thank you Jacquie and Mike for everything ❤️

Amazing stay, phenomenal hospitality!!

The location is just perfect!! Minutes away from the lake on one side and minutes away from the Salish sea on the other ☺️ it’s a quiet neighborhood with tons of walking trails very nearby. What was most amazing is although it’s in close proximity to the highway inside the airstream you couldn’t even hear it and not much road noise even from the backyard…. I can’t say enough about Jacky!! One of the best hosts we have ever had! She was so warm, friendly and welcoming not to mention she has a whole book on places to go nearby and is very knowledgeable about the area. We go to the island every year and this is one spot we will definitely be coming back too! Thanks for the wonderful experience and stay Jacky!!!

Camping at its Best!

The AirStream Camper is set up with everything one needs for an an enjoyable experience. It is compact but efficient. The Hostess has made the stay very welcoming with bagels for breakfast and a chance to try Samoas. The property is eclectic in design with modern amenities. As senior citizens we enjoyed this once in a lifetime experience!
