Host was very nice. However the accommodations was very dirty and not kept. The entrance was difficult with the steps and the poor concrete at the bottom and full creepy bugs. The apartment also had a bad smell to it the first night there I wanted to leave but due to no other accommodations I had to stay at this placed. I had to clean the bathroom and I almost naught a shower curtain as the one hung was slimy. Recommend a good cleaning and to fix the entrance to this place. The smell is most likely due to it being a basement apartment.

You left the place in the worst condition. Who puts the juices in laundry machine? You left the juice and cans in it, even animals don’t do it. And you put the bath mat in the living room. I’ll never give you the place again or recommend you. It was in terrible shape, and in just four nights, you’ve left a ton of garbage. It was the worst experience ever, and I won’t let you stay there again.

One of the beds is not very comfortable…but that is also personal preference. Host was great for prompt response when we messaged. Served its purpose for a place to sleep and do some laundry at a reasonable cost.

It was a nice area and ideal for my Halifax trip. The cleanliness wasnt up to par for the price but other than that I overall had a nice stay.

Lots of amenities, including washer/dryer. Not having cable, but only internet TV though is not very covenient: typing with the remote control is a nightmare.

Unfortunately, our stay did not meet reasonable expectations for a peaceful accommodation. The property is a basement apartment beneath a wooden house occupied by a family. Due to the construction of the house, noise from the upstairs occupants travels directly into the apartment, making it extremely difficult to rest.Upon our arrival, Aamir informed us that his children usually play until approximately 7:00–8:00 p.m. However, on our very first night, one of the children was screaming, running, and jumping well past 11:00 p.m. Throughout our stay, we were repeatedly disturbed by loud footsteps, constant thumping from children jumping and running, and the front door being slammed late in the evening.On the second night, we contacted Aamir to report that the front door continued to be slammed after 10:00 p.m. He apologized and confirmed that it had been his son. We have a screenshot of this message available as evidence.As we flew back to the Netherlands on 31 July, we needed a good night’s sleep before our journey. Unfortunately, the ongoing noise made this impossible, and we felt we had no alternative but to book a hotel in Halifax for our final night at our own expense.It is very disappointing that the last few days of our 3 week summer vacation were overshadowed by these circumstances. We believe that a basement apartment in a wooden house with a family living directly above is not suitable to guests on vacation.

Comfortable Stay

Myself and three others stayed in the suite for one night. It was easy to check in, clean, and well decorated. The place is a bit worn in appearance and some supplies were too low for one use, like coffee and dish soap. The beds were comfortable which is always appreciated. The two bedrooms were separated by a hallway which helped limit sound transfer. Overall, it was a good stay and very affordable for the area. Check in information was not available until a couple hours before check in was available. The host was polite and responded in good time to messages.

The owner—I assume—was standing outside when we arrived. He motioned to us where to park but otherwise did not engage in conversation—even when we said hi and said his name. Area outside was not clean. The yard had garbage about. The inside was reasonably clean but smelled heavily of artificial scent. The beds were reasonably comfortable and the sheets were clean. There seemed to be mold in the bathroom. It was definitely overpriced for the condition of the suite.

A l'arrivée personne pour nous accueillir et nous avons été obligé de réclamer le code d'entrée.Pour la cuisine, une fourchette pour 3 !!!! et peu de vaisselle. Rien pour cuisiner à part le micro-ondes.Nous avons passé 2 nuits dans le logement mais impossible de se reposer avec des enfants qui hurlent à longueur de temps et qui courent constamment à l'étage supérieur.Il n'y a aucun respect pour les voyageurs !
