Property was as it showed in pictures. Comfortable but outdoor furniture was a bit rusty. Overall we enjoyed it

Oceanside Village: Love This House & Location

Large roomy house with big kitchen! The layout is great! You do have to walk through the 3rd bedroom to get to the 4th bedroom but that was not a problem for us. Our teens loved having the adjoining rooms! The location of the house is perfect. Short walk to the beach, although we rented a Golf Cart ($60 per day) because we also had friends staying in another part of Oceanside Village. The front gate/guard house is just off Hwy 17 and accessed with a hanging car tag provided at check in. But you will likely want to purchase a "key card" to be able to go in and out the other gates on the property, one of which is directly across the street from Oceanside Village's private Golf Cart parking and beach access. The Key cards are $30 with a $10 refund if returned at end of stay. The House was well stocked. Could use a casserole dish or two (we brought our own), but otherwise Kitchen was well stocked. Bring your own Blankets! Plenty of sheets, towels and wash cloths, but no blankets. Great communication with Owner!

Great location!

The house is in a cozy little neighborhood right across from the beach. Gate access by the house requires a $30 deposit ($10 refundable)which wasn't clear on check-in. Easy walk carrying chairs & small cooler. The decks around the house helped provide plenty of space for the 5 of us. A little surprised to have to walk through 2nd bedroom to acess the 3rd bedroom and 1 bath for 3 bedrooms required some coordinating. The kitchen & bath supplies are modest, but enough to be able to do some cooking at the house. We loved the Conch Cafe located on the beach, one block from the house! Paul was accessible for questions, which was helpful!

Best Ever!

It was a wonderful place, like a home away from home, where our family felt safe, laughed a lot, played games inside when it rained, and stayed at the beach. There was no need to go anywhere else! We all felt so welcomed by the residents and staff. Paul was very kind and responded quickly to any questions we had. We hated to leave. Still regretting we had to come home! Great stay! Great host! We will be back!

Great place and nice owner

We have a condo on the beach and with the family getting bigger we had to rent another place. This place was just about a stone’s throw away from our condo. That was just one of the reasons it was a nice house. The house was very roomy, clean, and close enough to the beach so no need for a golf cart. The deck was big and spacious. Lots of parking. The owner was very helpful and answered all my questions in a timely manner.if we have too, we will try to rent this one again for next year. I highly recommend booking this place for your next visit.

Family Vacay

We had an awesome time staying here. The house has tons of room and came with everything we needed. We rented a golf cart from OSV and got an extra key everyone talked about. I would recommend getting those too. My small children enjoyed the splash pad, ducks and playground. The community was perfect for a quiet, family friendly vacation. Also, Paul responded so quickly to my many questions haha. I would highly recommend staying here.

Enjoyable Vacation

We enjoyed our time in Surfside staying at this rental. The house is as described and it was perfect for our family of 5. I would highly recommend paying for a pass for the back gate when you check in. It was well worth it and saved us a lot of time. The owner Paul was very easy to get a hold of and very quick to help with a couple minor issues we had during our stay. The only con I have is not with the house or owner, it is with the county within which the house is located. People set off fireworks on the beach every night until around midnight or 1 am. You can hear them in the house and that makes for a hard time getting to sleep.

Wonderful beach house!

We really enjoyed our stay at this property! Upon arrival, it was very easy to get checked in and the property was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed during our stay. We also loved staying in Oceanside Village. If you rent a golf cart, it's a quick drive over to the beach and there is private parking for Ocean Side village guests if you purchase the $20 key card (you get $10 back once you turn it in). We had a great stay and plan on coming back at some point. I highly recommend this property!

Critique of 1547 Mason Circle

Great location.Ocean Lakes gate employees lacked knowledge of the community. Upon arrival you are own your own.Previous renters left gas grill a total mess. Need more garbage and toilet paper. Would consider renting again.

Enjoyable!

A very spacious house In a quaint neighborhood. The house had all we needed and then some. Very roomy, all the things you'd need for 2 days or 2 weeks. Host was great communicator and everything was as listed. Thanks for being biker friendly. We hope to stay here again. SN: if your going to be in and out of the community, get an extra pass for the other gates. Will save ya some headache. (host mentioned this but we didn't and should have haha)
