Wonderful!

Clean home, lots of places for people to spend time together. Host was very available to answer questions. Liked location to ice cream shop, shopping and restaurants.

Spacious and convenient

We had a fabulous time! Age ranges 40’s, 50’s, 70’s and all enjoyed it!! My mom and her friend loved sitting out back, driving the golf cart over to Kyle G’s which I think has all our vacation funds 😂 Loved it and hope to return!

Great location

Loved the bikes, kayaks, fishing poles and golf cart that came with the property. The only thing we rented was a surfboard for my 18 year old son. Two bedrooms were just enough for our daughter and boyfriend to stay in one bedroom and my husband and I in the other. Our son slept on the murphy bed in the front room.

Fantasy Island Life Family Vacation

Our stay at Fantasy Island Life was amazing. Our family truly had one of our best vacations. The house was very clean and much bigger than we expected. The front room with the murphy bed was perfect for an extra sleeping space. The location was very convenient to enjoy the beach, shops and restaurants and using the golf cart made all of this that much more fun. We used the kayaks every day and relaxed on the large deck. We also very much enjoyed the video games. I would absolutely rent this house again. Thank you!

Our First VRBO

The house was lovely and incredibly well stocked. All we needed were our clothes. The neighbors were overall friendly. The only word of caution is the no-seeums which can’t be helped. Make sure you have plenty of bug spray. We would go back in a heartbeat. Thanks Bren and Dan!

Pre-Christmas holiday

Myself, my three sons ages 15,17, and 18, and my son's girlfriend stayed here for several nights before Christmas. The house was much bigger than pictured. We found the property t be beautiful. It was super comfortable for all of us and and we had enough sleeping space for everyone. The murphy bed really can be it's own room in the front of the house and the bunk room was great as well for the boys. We had plenty of space. The golf cart was great for going to the beach and shops. Additionally, the boys loved using the kayaks. We did not have great weather, but we had a great time. The house has everything needed including bug spray for sitting on the deck (which is beautiful).

Family stay

This property has a lot of great things about it. The space was clean and updated and there is plenty of space to hang out with family. There is a public beach access right across the street and the beach is super nice there. If you want lifeguards you can go just down the street to the Jensen Beach access. Communication with the host was easy. Overall it met most of our needs. What we found frustrating is that we booked because we thought we could tie up our boat to the dock. I think this part of the description is very misleading. The dock is much higher than the water. The only water level access is on a rickety ladder down to a small floating dock. There is no way to safely tie your boat to the higher deck or the floating dock. You could pull up temporarily - but the ladder makes it extremely difficult for littles and less fit people to access the boat. Forget about getting a cooler or equipment on and off the boat. The house was great in that it included bikes, beach chairs and kayaks - but I am not sure who is strong enough to lift kayaks down the ladder to the water and back. Possibly older teens, young adults. There is no lift system to get anything down to water level. Again the ladder is a bit loose. Anyways it was a great stay in many ways - but I feelMislead about the access to the water and that was a main reason our family booked. It would also be nice if there was an enclosed porch somewhere so you enjoy the evenings - no seeums were prevalent.

Conflicted Review

The property is fantastic BUT there are things you should know about it. It is a duplex with a wall between you and the other half of the duplex. I feel like that should be disclosed in the description. There is a picture in their listing that has captions telling you about a private beach entrance, a heated pool, and a club house. None of those things are included with your stay, but you can drive the golf cart down to that entrance into the beach. If you take a car, it will be towed. The owners of this listing do not pay for access to this club house facility at all, so they really shouldn’t even be using the beach entrance there. It is private property. The pictures of the property are on point and the canal was great for the kayaks. It is equipped with all the beach items you might need and the space is really a good st up. The kitchen is well equipped and we had an amazing Thanksgiving there. My communication with the owners did not go well when I inquired about the pool AFTER I had paid and about 2 weeks before our trip. She rudely responded for me to just go ahead and cancel since we had a problem. She also said she would take that picture down from her listing, but it is presently still there. Our later communication was much better, and she allowed me access a little early to get prepared for family to come in which was nice.

Wonderful!

I don’t usually do reviews but this property is worthy of praise. My family and I stayed for a week and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The home was adorable and CLEAN (and I am a a clean freak). It had everything we could have asked for. The proximity to local beaches and restaurants was amazing. Be sure to have dinner on the patio at Shuckers and walk for ice cream at Strawberry’s. The use of the golf cart made the stay even more enjoyable. Access to the private beach made our beach days less crowded. My husband and son fished from the dock daily and the rest of us enjoyed hanging out on the deck. There was plenty of space for everyone. And the best part was we got to bring our fur baby with us. Thank you to the owners for understanding families with pets. We will definitely be back. The only suggestion I would make is that there weren’t enough beach towels and the ice maker didn’t seem to work very well. Also, leaving any tips for the no-see-umms would be helpful. We don’t deal with those in the Midwest and our bug spray didn’t seem to work. But those are all minor and wouldn’t change our minds on coming again. Thank you so much for an enjoyable week!

Beautiful home, we'd love to come back!

We stayed here as snowbirds for February and March of 2022 and enjoyed it soooo much! It's a roomy, beautiful home with a fabulous canal-side deck, well appointed with two separate bedroom suites. As noted in other reviews, it is a 2BR home, not a 4BR. A murphy bed and a sofa sleeper are being described as bedrooms but they are in the living spaces. We loved Hutchinson Island and found our stay totally relaxing. We would love to come back and maybe even make this our permanent winter home.

Great place and location!

We really loved our month at your place. Many walks to the beach, and nice having the dock on the canal. Need to change the description from 4 bedrooms to 2, but there is plenty of room for two families to enjoy. Highly recommend!

Not a four bedroom! It’s a two bedroom house!

We were ate alive by noseeums. Piles of garbage was left by front door which the critters got into and scattered it everywhere! Not a three bathroom but a two bathroom home. Very very disappointed!
