A relaxing stay!

I enjoyed Matt’s lovely cabin in the woods. It had everything I could need, was beautifully decorated and was quite comfortable. Sitting out on the deck, listening to the birds, the breeze in the trees and watching the deer.

We loved our house in the woods with deer visiting occasionally. Such a peaceful deck to enjoy living amongst the trees. The house was spotless and had everything we could possibly need available. We really appreciated the beautiful photographs displayed.

Great stay at a beautiful spot

Was here with some friends for a girls weekend and had a lovely stay. It was clean, the view was great, and the beds were comfy. Kitchen was perfect for cooking for the weekend and we had a fire in the firepit which was lovely.

Loved the house, great place if you’re a nature lover and want to escape the big city life for a while. If you get up in the morning you’ll be lucky to see deer and foxes as we did just by stepping out onto the porch - what a great way to enjoy your morning coffee

Home was beautifully situated at end of quiet lane under a soaring oak canopy. Rooms spotlessly clean with modern kitchen, large fridge, terrific dining table. The home is wonderfully decorated as a rustic-in -appearance but modern in comfort cabin in the woods with stunning wildlife photos throughout. Deck along the entire back of house had cozy chairs and couch for conversation, games, and savoring the peace. Lots of parking as our family members gathered. Matt was wonderful with prompt communication and any questions. Will definitely stay again when in the area!

We loved staying at this cabin, so easy to find and loved sitting on the deck in the evenings with all the sounds of nature, such a quiet area and the views of the trees looking outside the a-frame windows was like a picture!!! Loved the heaters in the bathrooms and the large tv with the huge round sofa .. The house was very accommodating would definitely stay here again!!!

This place is AMAZING!!! Absolutely perfect location to be close to everything and away from everything all at the same time. I will ABSOLUTELY be back and highly recommend to anyone (even little ones, they have gates and all for stairs!) It was simply perfect.

We just did a cousins’ weekend at this property and really enjoyed our stay here! The house was very comfortable - the beds, the couch, etc., it was also very clean, and easy to find/get into. The owner, Matt, was kind, helpful, and responsive. We stayed here to visit Gettysburg and it was a quick and easy ride over there. Thank you again, Matt! It was a wonderful stay and I am sure we’ll be back!

This was a perfect home for a weekend getaway for our two families. The house is tucked away in a private wooded drive. Very spacious with beautiful huge windows looking over the forest. It has a huge back porch and fire pit. Comfortable both inside and out! And across the road is a gliding club so you may get to see them flying on a nice day. This place was a very unique find.

Overall stay was good. A few things I could see some improvement with, if you a arrive late " leave a light on outside", also clean out the fridge from the previous renter. The deck was very dirty and not a pleasant place to hang out. The TV also was not plugged in, we need an extension cord to plug it in.

Amazing place to stay and visit. The house was in a private setting and exactly as described. The owner reached out before and during our trip to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The location was super convenient to Gettysburg and surrounding attractions, and not too far for a visit to Hershey. Very clean and well-kept property, definitely worth staying at if you’re looking for a truly relaxing getaway.

This is a great property. It's very clean and beautiful in a quiet setting. Loved seeing all the whitetail deer in the evening on the way back to the property from Gettysburg. Highly recommend and would definitely go back again.

Beautiful place to stay in every way. Our group of 5 was very comfortable there throughout our stay. I'd be interested in going back to see the views out of the windows and skylights in the different seasons. (We were a July stay)So easy to get to all the Gettysburg activities, and at the end of the day, go back the the A-frame to get away from the crowds. We could see the ski slopes as we moved about the area. We were minutes from the final resting place and the historic home of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton.Definitely check out the glider planes club at the base of the driveway. They are beautiful to watch soaring, the club members are happy to chat about their hobby, and you can even go in a glider as a guest for 100.

This home was a 10 out of 10. Even better than what the beautiful pictures showed. It was the cleanest vacation home I've ever rented and everything was exactly as stated. The beds were comfy and our host, Matt, was accessible and friendly. The location was perfect for our geocaching trips to Gettysburg, Waynesboro, and into Maryland. We couldn't have chosen a better place for our stay. Would definitely do it again!
