Loved our stay!

Family vacation

The place was great except initial miscommunication on pac n play. Also would like to have one larger frying pan and a kitchen towel. Other than those small items it was great!

Great stay, warm pool!

We had a great 5 days at this property. We paid for the pool to be heated because it was February and it was well worth it! My kids, 3 and 6, were in it every waking moment we were at the house. Great communication from property manager as well!

The a/c did not work when we arrived and we could not get a hold of anyone at the emergency phone number. We communicated with a VRBO agent and she was unsuccessful as well at getting in touch with the host or anyone at the emergency number. We decided to leave and find our own place to stay and VRBO knew about this. We try to message the host and did not even receive a response until noon the following day. We will be seeking a full refund and VRBO is also aware of this.

Sweet 16 Weekend

I can't express how much my daughter and her friends enjoyed staying at the house this weekend. The accommodations were perfect! They said they pool was a little small, but that didn't stop them from enjoying it. Ill book here again.

My Stay

My stay felt like being at home, only a bit cleaner—lol. I loved the pool area! The only suggestions I have are to add oven mitts, extra toilet paper, and more towels, as there was only one roll in each bathroom. Additionally, a variety of oven cookware would be great. Other than that, we loved it!

We start here with my family, location is great to everything, the house so comfy and the private pool, me and my family definitely stay again in the house.

We enjoyed the private pool and the property was spacious. We had a few minor maintenance issues during the stay but the management company was quick to respond. Gave a 3 rating on cleanliness due to the house needing a good deep cleaning. The carpets,curtains and light fixtures need a good scrub. Bathrooms, kitchen and bedrooms were clean other than curtains and carpet. Spend the extra money to have the pool heated. Overall it was a good place to stay.

Disney trip

The townhouse was clean, and conveniently located (about 20 minutes from Disney). The check-in process was simple and instructions were clear. We really enjoyed the community pool which has a lazy river and water slides for the kids. I would have given a 5 star rating. However, I had sent a few emails to the concierge during my stay and never received any responses. Overall, we were very satisfied with the place.

Many positives but some unresolved issues

Overall, the quiet property location in the large development and unit layout worked well for us. Having access to the pool/gym area is a terrific amenity especially for families with kids. This was our second year in the development, which is conveniently located to Disney, grocery, food and shopping destinations. Staying at a different unit this year, for us, this location was far superior as we prefer quieter and less trafficked areas. Also, we did not have any after hours noise issues in this unit given this more set apart location in the development. The difference between our rating and a top rating solely reflects cleanliness and inconsistent maintenance follow-up . Day 1 entry had a material electrical issue that did get resolved after several hours with several maintenance onsite. We are grateful for their service and this issue was fully resolved. We did not have any recurring electrical issues after this was addressed. This issue does not reflect our rating as the promptness and courteous maintenance crew were terrific. Our concerns that did impact the overall rating surrounds (1) unit cleanliness concerns (stained and/or some damaged furniture and more importantly dishwasher sanitary concerns) and (2) inconsistent or no maintenance follow-up on these issues during our 7-week stay. Regarding the dishwasher, we conservatively chose to hand wash dishes throughout our stay despite maintenance on day 2 replacing heavily stained dishwasher racks as well as my efforts for a much needed interior cleaning including the drainage trap. The reason we chose to hand wash was a noticeable odor remained in the dishwasher and no additional follow-up was provided by maintenance. Looking beyond that concern, the kitchen layout and amenities were nice if you choose for daily cooking Our favorite part of the unit was the cover lanai where having lunch or lounging on the pool/patio area was awesome. This, by far, was our most used part of the unit.

Family getaway

Good time. Water heater could be warmer, smoke detector battery went out at 4 am on the last day. The lazy River at the water park is not heated. The main pool is heated. Some clarification in the listing would have been nice. All nice, a perfect place for our family fun.

Well.. just some minor issues

It was a great stay. Just a few issues. The outside lights did not work when we called maintenance. They said they would be there the next day they never showed for the five days that we were there. The downstairs fan and upstairs master bedroom fan did not work. Other than that everything was great. But I do feel like the money that we paid everything would be working.

My Stay

This was a very nice and clean house to rent for the week. The contact was very quick to respond to questions. I really wanted to give this place 5 stars but I had a couple of issues. #1 the coffee maker is broken or takes special filters that were not provided. It would only brew half a pot which was filled with coffee grinds 🤮. We had to go to Wawa for Coffee every morning. #2 the back wall of the house none of the switches or outlets worked. The TV did but you could not plug anything in on that wall. The outside light in the back didn’t work either. #3 there was a section of screen missing in the back pool area. If we used the pool at night and turned the lights on in the pool we were flooded with bugs. During the day wasn’t so bad. #4 we used 2 out of 3 showers in the house and they both leaked water on the floor extremely bad. The floor would be flooded when we got out if we didn’t put a towel down. Over all this was a nice place to stay. It was quite and comfortable. Lots of room to hang out too. Would stay again but bring my own coffee maker. The community was beautiful. They come around and pick up trash every morning which was really convenient. The Water park is pretty awesome it’s smaller then I excepted but we had a blast and my Daughter loved the slides

Maintenance issues, enjoyed the waterpark

Pros: Close to Disney and just a few minutes from stores. The waterpark was very nice and the highlight of the stay. Note that I would not consider it to be within walking distance if you have young kids. Cons: Check-in was a nightmare and not what we expected. We were tired from traveling and expected to check in and get something to eat.... Spent close to an hour waiting in line for initial check-in with the guard. It was incredibly dangerous with all the chaos of the cars cutting around and blocking traffic, watched multiple close calls. Then the pass we received never worked for scanning so we had to ring the guard every time the gates were locked. The unit itself was mostly ok. There were quite a few maintenance issues that appear to have been there for a while....the living room outlets didn't work (and yes, we made sure they weren't tied to a switch and checked the breaker), patio light didn't work so we couldn't hang out on the patio in the evenings, problems with pool timer, lamp missing a light bulb, broken off outlet cover, broken shade, gouge in night stand, chunk of footboard broken off, etc. The master shower head worked but was less than desirable- if not aimed just right, water sprays everywhere. The owner was quick to respond that they reported issues to maintenance but nothing was ever actually addressed and there wasn't any other followup. Suggestions that would make it a 5 star review: fix the maintenance issues, improve check-in and gate security process, add kitchen soap, washcloth and towel, and fix the shower head. Overall would probably consider Storey Lakes again but not this unit.

Nice place

We visited Sea World on this trip and this place was in a great location for that! The check in process was ok—the GPS took me to the back gate and I had to then find the front gate. Also, the check out time was 10am and a cleaning crew was at the door at 9:55am so be sure to contact the property manager if you need to stay even a minute longer. Overall a great property for our group of 9. We would definitely stay here again!
