Bear Bottom Lodge

Enjoy a relaxing and nature filled getaway in this beautiful, creek front lodge.

On the main level you’ll find spacious kitchen and living areas, a laundry room, and a large full bathroom with walk-in shower. The custom kitchen is large and well-equipped for cooking. You’ll enjoy beautiful creek front views from the large dining table. The cozy living room has ample seating and a large TV with surround sound for a cozy movie night. Equipped with smart TVs for connecting to your own streaming services.

You’ll love watching eagles soar while enjoying your morning coffee from our creek front porch.

The second level includes a master bedroom with half bath, a second bedroom, and an open loft area that can be used for sleeping as well. Sleeps up to 10. Bed linens are provided.

2nd Bedroom: 2 Full, 2 Twin
Loft: 1 Twin

Bed linens are provided. Bath and creek towels are NOT provided.

Outside, there is a propane grill, fire pit, and easy stair-access to the creek.
Firewood is provided in a limited quantity. Additional firewood available for sale at various stops along the creek.

There is a landline phone for making local and emergency calls only. Any long distance call made during your stay will result in extra charges.

Take advantage of all that Pine Creek Valley has to offer! Bear Bottom Lodge is located just minutes from great outdoor activities like hiking, biking, boating, fishing, and hunting! Access to the Pine Creek Rail Trail is located just 1.5 mile south at the Waterville access parking lot.

No parties or events.

Property was very nice as advertised with the exception of the loft bedroom. Loft bedroom was actually a closet at the very top of steps with less than 3 feet to the top step. One of our group got out of bed took a step and fell down the steps injuring his ankle knee and elbow

Beautiful location and view of the creek and mountains. Short trip to beautiful hikes and access to the rails to trails, atv trails. The house was extremely clean and had all the comforts of home. We saw an eagle fly over the creek daily. The grandkids loved it : ). We took numerous rides through the woods and saw many beautiful vistas. Highly recommend! Would stay again, in fact, grandkids already asked to go back

This is actually a hard review to write, the place is perfect. Entrance driveway is certainly steep but we were able to manage with a pickup with trailer in tow.

Very nice property

Very nice cabin. All updated, full kitchen, great deck, camp fire area with chairs, grill and some fire wood to get you started. WiFi works well. Along water. Very pleased. Stayed here last couple years.

The property was just as the discription stated. Couldn't ask for much more, execept for maybe a little more quiet. Beside the noise from the road which can't be controlled. The description did state to be respectful of the neighbors. However, there was major construction going on next door when we arrived. Starting everyday between 7:30-8:00am lasting all day somedays until 8pm. I do understand the need for upgrades and renovations, We just wish we would have known in advance. The whole purpose of our trip was to relax. We didn't get to do that.

We loved our stay at Bear Bottom Lodge! I was so impressed with how clean and tidy the house was. We read on the porch while listening to the babbling creek, made a fire for s’mores, caught crawfish, rode bikes, compared ice cream shops, and just had a lovely long weekend. Thank you!!!

The property was amazing. We loved everything about it. The location was perfect as well. We loved being right on the creek and saw lots of wildlife while just sitting on the porch in the morning drinking our tea and coffee. So very peaceful.

Week on the Creek

We wanted some time to unplug and get away. We loved the cabin and the access to the water. Everything was great and we would highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for some peace and time away!

My brothers, father and a couple friends came to fish for a weekend. The house was clean and beautiful, as has been our experience. Lindsay was easy to work with and very accommodating. We are looking forward to next year!

Yearly Pine Creek Fishing Trip

Our group had a great time at Bear Bottom Lodge on the Pine Creek. This was our first stay at the lodge, it was clean and had everything we needed. The weather didn't make for good fishing but we had a great time anyway. We'll definitely try to be back next year.

Beautiful cabin with a smart, comfortable floor plan that is a great basecamp for various adventures

We had six guys for our annual 'Mancamp' to hike, bike, kayak, eat, drink, and be merry. The well laid out floor plan allowed for comfortable sleeping, cooking, playing cards, and playing guitar all at the same time. The well-equipped home with multiple lounge options indoor and out was perfect for our purposes. Access to some incredible MTB and hiking trails as well as kayaking from the yard was a big plus, looking forward to coming back.

Lovely stay

This was a Christmas gift for my husband, a weekend away with his grown kids. It was an awesome place to unwind, play games, watch the snow fall over the creek and still close enough to go grab a bite the first night. I don’t want to stay too much good because we dont want the secret to get out :)

Fantastic place to gather

This is our second stay at this property. The hostess is so nice and great to work with. Everything you need is there. The living room, dining and kitchen is the perfect place for groups to gather and spend time together. Beds were comfortable and wifi this year was a bonus! Would absolutely stay there again and recommend this place.
