The location and view of the river were awesome. It was very quiet there. The house was within a reasonable distance of the places we wanted to visit, and there were some good restaurants nearby. There was a dishwasher listed that wasn't there that wasn't really a problem for us. We suggested a few other small items.

Quite and cozy.

This was a perfect location for our family stay. We enjoyed the patio, BBQ grill, the swing and a relaxing time together!

Home was clean, cozy and remarkably quiet for being right in a small neighborhood. beautiful view right next to the river and extremely relaxing. Enjoyed the stay very much and my adult kids and family enjoyed it as well. We stayed there to support my son's wedding and after the ceremony they wanted to get pictures next to the river at the house as it was that scenic. My family and I were just fine with the age of the home although the floors were creaky and, in some places, uneven which didn't bother us but it may others. My wife and daughter loved the decor and overall appearance and amenities. One issue though: the sink in the kitchen didn't have a head on the end so it took us a minute to get the control knob so we didn't take a bath when using the sink. The only other issue I would say I personally didn't like was the TV channels. I have comcast so I know the channels, this had just smart TV with internet access and I couldn't find the stations I wanted. But I really wasn't there to watch TV so not a big deal. I appreciated the Keurig Coffee machine and used it extensively as I drink coffee all day. We had a prewedding meal for the attendees there and my wife cooked for 12 people just fine and seated them all afterward enjoyed the fireplace setting outside. Overall, my family and I loved it and are already planning to hopefully go back during the summer when its hot so we can enjoy the river more and maybe fish some and swim. Thank you.

Beautiful property! Very well-equipped with everything you need when vacationing along the water. Really enjoyed the fire pit area and deck overlooking the creek, and the kids absolutely loved the saucer swing. Highly recommend!

Relaxing getaway

Good location, very relaxing

Nice cabin right on Pine Creek. Its pretty fast there making kayaking a very good workout. Property as advertised no real issues

Will be back!

I love this property! It was so peaceful to hear the bubbling creek with morning coffee. All accommodations were clean and well maintained. We'll definitely come back for an extended stay!

Great!

Great place to stay, clean , comfortable king size bed, hot water, heat worked great, fire ring was awesome-great views of the creek and hills. Neighbors were super friendly. Check out time could be a bit later!

Great getaway!

We had a wonderful time at Frog Hollow Lodge. The property had everything we needed to kick back, relax, and have fun! The water views are amazing both inside and out, and access to the creek couldn’t be easier. The kids had a great time in the water and loved, loved, loved the swing! There are plenty of great places to eat nearby and lots of things to do. Having on site kayaks and tubes was a plus. Communication with the host was great. Highly recommend staying here!

A sign out on Route 44 stating what alley was she be used to access the property. The neighbor came over Friday night and told us if we used the stone road we would get arrested. Even though that is where the GPS took us down. Also maybe get non stick pans for the kitchen instead of stainless Steele.

Relaxing

We had a nice time, very relaxing. We went during a heatwave and a storm but we still had a good time watching movies and playing board games that were available. We also got some fishing in and my 8 yr old and 6 yr old had a good time playing on the swing. We had an issue with the air conditioner and they sent maintenance to help us that afternoon. The communication was wonderful. The neighborhood is nice, with friendly neighbors. We would definitely stay again. The Pine Creek Inn is right next to the cabin and they have amazing food and drinks!

I’ve reached out to property management company and am awaiting a response. We’ve asked for a refund after having a terrible experience and leaving after our second night due to ants, earwigs, cleanliness issues and lack of overall information. Will update after getting a response from BnBs R Us (INNteREST), management company.

So sorry your stay was most unsatisfactory. We have fully refunded you and there have been treatments made for the bug issue. Your comments have led to a review overall and for that I am grateful. Two new mattresses have been purchased along with a new sofa bed and we are still working to improve to prevent something like this happening again.

fans

hello just wanted to let you know if you had fans for the upstairs windows then we would have to leave the AC on for half the day,See there only on e window in each room so the cool air dosent come in.maybe a 3 speed fan and it has to fit like 24 inch fan big enough to cool the room...wasted alot of electricity with AC on all the time.thanks the fans are cheap in comparison.

Not what I expected

I wasn’t going to rate this place, and I didn’t ask for a refund. The pictures of the place online were beautiful. The fire pit area was very nice, it sets along the river front and is great place to watch the stars. The house is not at all what we expected. To be fair we showed up roughly an hour early and the cleaners were still there. She asked if we wanted her to mop the floors? I just nicely said whatever your routine is go ahead we will patiently wait. We sat down by the river and talked as she cleaned. When she was done and about to leave, I seen the front patio was never swept out, there was food under the living room chair and under the kitchen table. There was earwigs everywhere in the house. My friend had one crawling inside her c-pap machine. And they were everywhere in the bathroom. There was a bees nest in the back porch area. I mentioned it to the maintenance man, he said he would take care of it but never returned. There was a dehumidifier in the dining area that required us to continuously empty it. Then on the last night we had stayed outside to watch the stars. We left the lights on in the house and all the doors were closed. We had the air on. When we came back in the house, there was a million bugs on the curtains , and the ceiling. I realize this is next to a river and a woody area, some bugs are expected, but this was an infestation of bugs! The beds were comfortable and the decor is nice. Aside from that it was a nice get away.
