Cozy “ homey” cabin in Waterville area of the beautiful PINE CREEK Valley. 2bd, 1 ba, full kitchen. Lots to do in the area- close to everything!!! We also recently installed an outdoor security system for your extra protection.

SLEEPS 6 - is located on Upper Pine Bottom Run (which connects to BIG PINE CREEK) and very close to rail trail access/parking, state game lands, kayaking, hiking trails, atv trails, and a few steps to the majestic Pine Creek, well known for fly fishing!

-Queen bed in bedroom #1, Full bed and Bunk bed in bedroom #2, (Full size futon on porch)
Has an updated full bathroom w/ large walk-in shower, full kitchen w/ SS appliances, microwave, coffee bar, outdoor grill w/ propane, large enclosed porch w/ seating for 6 and 2nd refrigerator/freezer. There is an updated rustic fire pit area w/ seating for 8 provided (Firewood NOT provided!) 43” smart tv, high speed internet and cable through Xfinity, DVD player w select DVDs, and landline phone.
- * PLEASE NOTE- THIS IS A CABIN in a wooded rural area of PA- so utilities (Including INTERNET) are not guaranteed*
IMPORTANT****LINENS are NOT provided, so bring your own towels, bed sheets(see above for sizes) , etc. (Light blankets/quilts and pillows are on the beds )
Plenty of parking. There is a bear proof dumpster for garbage accumulated during your stay (and we provide garbage bags)
A HUGE PLUS*****your beloved dog is welcome here for an additional fee ($25). Maximum 2 dogs. MUST BE HOUSE BROKEN.

Our stay was unbelievable, our 3 yr. Old grandson was overwhelmed with the painted rock hunt on the property. Total relaxation. We will definitely be staying again!

We had a great Girls’ weekend! It was nice being so close to the rail trail. We did some biking and checked out the Hotel Manor, Slate Run General Store, swam in the creek and went to see a band at The Mountain Top. Perfect weekend, perfect stay and much needed time with perfect friends!!

Delightful!

What a cozy way to spend the Christmas holiday! Great location with easy access (short drives) to hiking, running, and food options. Very peaceful especially right on the creek. The cabin was perfect and we will be back.

Family time in the mountains

We loved our stay at the Lookout Cabin. It is clean and has all the amenities of home away from home. Relax outside listening to the calming water of the stream that runs behind the house and the peeper frogs. Biking-hiking-fishing- RELAXING - all can be found here! Thank you for sharing your house.

Cozy house.

Made a lot of good memories these few days we stayed here. Awesome stream kids loved it. We will be back. Thinking of making this a annual thing.

Damage to my vehicle from this property!

This property is UNSAFE! BOOK WITH EXTREME CAUTION! During our stay from Oct 31-Nov 3, 2024 over 3000 worth of damage was done to my vehicle from this host’s driveway! Every time I pulled my car OUT of the driveway, it bottomed out and was damaged! I contacted the hosts, then the property manager, got no help, then contacted VRBO. We were put on a three way call with the host and we alerted them again of the damage to my vehicle and we wanted a refund for our trip & damage to my vehicle which was confirmed by my garage. We were scared to leave the property and could not follow through with our plans. We got 125 refund for one night’s stay but that doesn’t cover over 3000 damage to my car. Host’s will not help and were dishonest in listing at time of booking stating “driveway improvements/no longer steep in/out”,

Perfect race weekend getaway

4 of us + our dog stayed here over the weekend of the Hyner Trail Challenge. It was the perfect spot to get a good night's sleep the night before the race and unwind afterwards. The beds were comfy and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals each night. Our only regret is that our stay wasn't long enough to sit out and enjoy the campfire & creek atmosphere. We'll definitely stay here again when in the area for future races.

Listing not Accurate to renter Communication post arrival

We are UNSATISFIED with this rental. We rent a vacation space expecting the listing to fully match the reality. We have medical issues and rent according to needs as well as the desires for what is allowed/available. Bedroom#1 Bunkbed- top bunk was shaky usable for worry-free sleep. Windows face road and are covered with sheer curtains, viewable from main road. Bedroom #2 AC unit issues- Running AC was not as option. Turning AC on sent massive numbers of insects into the room. It was humid, AC was needed. AC turned off- the unit is not completely blocked to outdoors. We had to cover vent and stuff tissues into sides/bottom as bugs and insects entering at will. Living Room- Futon sleeper very thin and can feel the frame during sleep. 1 adult slept seated on a loveseat. AC unit in Living Room not operating. Cooling was reliant on AC unit in kitchen which was not adequate for the entire space. Driveway- large dip and steep on a main route. No choice but to pull in and out quickly, which scraped undercarriages- inclusive an SUV. Widening could save future issues for someone. RULES ON LISTING NOT MATCHING REALITY. Smokers in party. Page specifies "Smoking allowed - please dispose of your cigarette butts" and there is an enclosed porch. Upon arrival we noted a sign inside the porch on wall leading to kitchen "No Smoking". So we called and were told the rule changed recently and they had not yet updated the listing. This now meant that since we rented a space specifically for people not to have to step outdoors at night, they would need to step outdoors. Choice for the one of be clean from shower or cover in repellant as they are hyper-allergic to mosquito bites. *This is still not changed on the listing. TRASH AND RECYCLING- Imagine driving 2.5 hours to your vacation rental and deciding to look through note cards on day 2 to find out "Hello- please take all garbage and recycling w/ you upon check out Thanks! The Walborns". Yes, on a note card under the note card with the emergency numbers. Had we not had looked beyond what we actually needed to, we would have left all trash and recycling behind as housekeeping was included. Never before has a rental informed us to take trash and recycling with on checkout. This should be on the listing. 2.5 hour drive home with trash and recycling in your vehicle? Yes, we did. *This is still not on the listing. Lastly, private calls were coming early hours to the rental on the phones disturbing sleep. ~Mrs. Hubley

The cabin was very nice, cozy, clean, the kitchen was well stocked with anything we needed for cooking. We loved the screened in porch and the grounds, we just wished it wasn't so close to the road.

This was a wonderful cabin - very clean, well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and furniture throughout. Nice fire ring with plenty of chairs. Great location, pretty little stream on the property and very close to rail trail. We also loved finding the little painted rocks everywhere.

This was our fourth year here, very nice location, driveway is a little difficult to get out of, black top would be a big improvement so you would not spin on the stone driveway, Stacy was very helpful letting us know about a power outage and when it came back on, great getaway week!!!

This cabin was very cozy! It was perfect for my husband, dog and myself. We had a great time driving through the mountains and then relaxed on the cabin. We splashed in the creek and enjoyed the sound of it from the lookout lodge.

Quick getaway

This is the third time we have rented this cabin and its always perfect for us. Clean, has everything we need, close to everything and great price. Love to sit on the porch and listen to the creek. Will definitely be back!
