Comfortable Quiet Spot

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a good choice for my sisters and I to hang out as we explored the San Juan Islands. Across from the beach means a trail through the woods past a butterfly habitat to a beach with plenty of driftwood to enjoy.

Clean, quiet, comfortable property. We enjoyed our stay and appreciated that it was a quiet place to relax at the end of the day. The kitchen is well stocked so if you want to make a few meals onsite, it’s easy. Location is nice. It’s away from the hubbub if the harbor, but easy to get to and the walk down to the beach is a great way to start or end the day.

This house is older yes, but has a wonderful, cozy and homey style and grace to it which is hard to put into words. It is well equipped for gourmet cooking, has an excellent stereo system, is right across from the cove beach access, peaceful and serene, yet close to town too. We absolutly loved it and will surely stay here the next time we come to San Juan Island!

This house has an amazing location and is very well equipped with everything we needed. Our only issue was the lack of window coverings in the living room. If you use the pullout bed in the living room you will be awoken pretty early in the summertime because there is nothing blocking the sunlight. Overall a great house.

The home was charming and comfortable. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked. The bath tub was a treat and there was plenty of hot water to take a nice bath. We had a lovely stay and look forward to coming again. It was nice to be right across from the beach. The only thing that would have been nice to have is a hand held shower head. The check in and out times were not very generous - 10 am and 4 pm Host communication could have been more helpful. I stated I couldn’t find check out instructions and they replied it’s on a laminated sheet in the house. :/

awesome place in magnificent location

The place is comfortable and modestly furnished without clutter. The deck at the front is a great place to read and relax. I would definitely go back to this unit again.

We really enjoyed the spacious clean house. The bathroom is like a spa with a shower & very large tub with jets. It has a well stocked kitchen, soft beds with a washer & dryer. Draw back for me was, not very many curtains. The ones they had did not provide privacy.

Great location, needs updating

Excellent location and very quiet. The house has not been updated at all and is straight out of the early 80s. Persistent smell of mothballs. Terrible pots/pans considering the price per night. We won’t be returning to this house but definitely will return to the beach.

Eagle Cove Lookout is reminiscent of a classic beach vacation house, and we do our best to advertise it as such with the language and the photos. The access to Eagle Cove public beach is a fantastic feature of this home, but we’re sorry to hear the house itself was not to your liking.

The house was eclectic, close to nature and a sit down dinner. Saw my first bald eagle (53 year wait). The San Juans were beautiful.

Perfect location for a family

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Easy walking distance from a beach (county park). We were able to quickly drive to a number of different beaches to launch our kayaks, hike, or just hang out on the beach. We enjoyed it so much more than staying in the congested Friday Harbor area, although, Friday Harbor is a wonderful place to visit, shop, dine, and watch people. The house was well equipped, clean, and comfortable, and we especially enjoyed our frequent visits from different foxes.

Would be nice to have a 2nd footstool in living room. 2nd bedroom blinds need repair. Master bedroom would benefit from blinds or black out curtains. Bathroom faucets turn in different directions. Would be nice to have a couple of folding chairs. A deeper cleaning of dust/dirt on surfaces and under furniture is needed.
