Loved this cottage! Beautiful waterfront location. You can walk right out the back door through the yard to sandbar birding area, and it's minutes away from Quoddy Head state park, my favorite place. The cottage is beautifully outfitted, everything you need. Well stocked kitchen, plenty of towels, and blankets. And some unexpected extras - robe & slippers, boots and rain gear! As we drove away, we were discussing when to book again next year.

This cottage is probably my all time favorite VRBO ever! It is so incredibly charming and cozy (especially if you love anything vintage - OMG seriously) and the view will take your breath away! My husband and I spent a lot of time just staring out at the marsh and water and listening to the breeze and quiet. The main bedroom faces the water and we watched the gorgeous sunrise every morning. Oh and THE STARS!! We live in the city and don't see that many stars due to light pollution, but at this place....it was mesmerizing! Catherine - you have a true treasure of a cottage and we are so grateful that you shared it with us! We hope to return soon!!

Loved our time there and already booked for 2027! Very welcoming touches like special soaps, a nice welcome basket of goodies and some fresh local produce. The house is comfortable, clean, quiet and perfectly situated. It's a wonderful setting with beautiful easterly views across the meadow to lubec sound from both the upstairs and downstairs decks. Beautiful gardens surround the house plus there's a very nice art studio with another sun deck. Just lovely!

We had a wonderful stay at this cottage and would happily return. The property was spotless when we arrived and was equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The location was absolutely beautiful—peaceful, quiet, and surrounded by nature. It was exactly the kind of getaway we were looking for. As birders and nature lovers, we especially appreciated that the backyard connected directly to a birding spot. Being able to step outside and immediately enjoy the sights and sounds of nature was a real treat. We spent many enjoyable hours watching birds and wildlife right from the property, making the experience even more memorable.Catherine, the host, was excellent and very communicative throughout the entire process. She responded quickly to questions, provided clear instructions, and made sure we had everything we needed for a relaxing stay and ensured everything went smoothly from check-in to check-out.Overall, this cottage exceeded our expectations. Between the cleanliness, the fully equipped kitchen, the breathtaking views, the direct access to excellent birding opportunities, and the attentive host, it provided the perfect retreat. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful escape.

This was a surprise get away. With that, I was surprised by the location’s beauty and excited to stay in a cottage that was like a doll house. The cottage was well decorated, supplied, and overall clean. Being close to the West Quoddy Lighthouse, Campobello Island, all the natural trails, and of course being able to see the sunrise over the Atlantic where it touches the continental US first thing (while in bed if you so choose) is amazing!! Wonderful experience!
