The property was just like the picture. This apartment was in a perfect location on a main road with restaurants and shops all within walking distance. It is close to metro and to taxi stands. Our host went above and beyond to make us feel at home. He answered all our questions and happy to direct us to where we wanted to go. He even arranged for a driver to and from the airport. Honestly we were very fortunate to have him as our host. The apartment was perfect for 4 people.Bonjour and have a beautiful dayThank you,Benny

Louis was so helpful, we knew where to go for supplies, how to get around. Apartment is beautiful and everything works! We had a great time and Louis made us feel at home. And where to go for chocolates!

Wonderful stay at Turbigo with our family of 4. Centrally located with very easy access to the metro, grocer, pharmacy and lots of shopping and dining. Louis did a wonderful job communicating with us and made our stay one we will never forget.

The apartment was sunny, immaculately clean, spacious, quiet, well-lit, and very comfortable. The appliances worked perfectly. We loved opening the large windows to enjoy the autumn weather, and also the quiet when we closed them. We appreciated having an elevator.The location was fabulous. Everything we needed was within walking distance. The metro was just a few feet away from the apartment. Also only a 2-minute walk away was a Monoprix, a large grocery with household items for sale. A pharmacy and many cafes, restaurants and bakeries were very near.Louis arranged for our transportation to and from the airport with a charming English speaking driver, Michel. On our arrival at the apartment Luis greeted us and spent a long time with us orienting us to the location, telling us about the apartment, how to operate the appliances, and the best nearby places to shop and eat. He even accompanied us to the metro station to help us buy the correct metro card. At one point in our stay when I texted him with a question about operating the dishwasher, he immediately came over to the apartment to show me how to do it. I recommend this apartment to anyone. When we next visit Paris we will stay here again.

Our family of four had a wonderful stay in this gem of an apartment in Paris. The location and neighborhood really cannot be beat - one of the best in Paris. You have everything you need right at your doorstep, including a grocery store, two Metro stops, and endless restaurants. The apartment itself is clean, roomy, and comfortable. And the hosts, Louis and Paulo, couldn’t have been more gracious and helpful. Overall, we had an excellent and memorable experience and won’t hesitate to recommend this apartment.

Charming apartment in the heart of the Marais neighborhood. Very close to both the Temple and République Metro stops. Nice walking distance to Notre Dame. The apartment has two bedrooms, and was perfect for our family of four. Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and coffee maker, washer/dryer in the bathroom, and lots of natural light. Louis met us outside the apartment, showed us all of the amenities, and then gave us a lovely tour of the neighborhood, pointing out the best boulangerie, fromagerie, and other local stores/boutiques. Everything was perfect. Looking forward to returning to this apartment on our next trip to Paris.

We had a wonderful stay at this Rue de Turbigo apartment in Paris. From the moment we arrived, Louis our host and Jen made us feel welcome and cared for. They personally met us at the apartment, arranged for a driver to pick us up, helped us get settled, and even took the time to give us a tour of the neighborhood, which was incredibly helpful for our first days in the city.Throughout our stay, Louis and Jen checked in regularly to make sure everything was going well and consistently went above and beyond to help our group of three generations of women enjoy our time in Paris. Their kindness, responsiveness, and genuine hospitality made a difference.The apartment itself was spotless, safe, comfortable, and exceptionally well-equipped with everything we needed. The location was great—centrally located with easy access to the Metro, grocery stores, cafés, a pharmacy, and a lovely park. It was the perfect home base for exploring Paris.We cannot recommend Louis and Jen highly enough. They are truly exceptional hosts, and we would happily stay here again on our next trip to Paris.

My Granddaughter and I just returned from our stay at Turbigo. We loved the apartment… it was spacious and comfortable. It was architecturally lovely in the main living space. Louis is an excellent and responsive communicator. We never had cause to worry about details falling through cracks. He set us up with an excellent car service for airport transport and he took the time to walk us through the neighborhood and point out a number of businesses and shops that we returned to during our stay. The neighborhood had numerous transportation options. I had not used the Metro in previous trips to Marais/Paris but the close proximity to Republique gave us so many destination options that we used it daily. The only downside was that our trip ended a day earlier than we had hoped.Great apartment space and location!

The check in was easy. The owner met us and talked through documents covering the dishwasher, wash machine, etc. The apartment was in a great neighborhood with access to various shops and restaurants. The owner was extremely helpful in arranging transportation and he provided suggestions for dining and shopping. I've stayed at other VRBO listings and this was definitely the best.

Wonderful home base in Paris

Louis was a great and welcoming host, showing us all around the neighborhood on our first day. The location was great with metro access across the street and everything you can need in an arms reach. We felt like locals. We will be back!

My adult daughter and I had an amazing stay at Turbigo. The place is in a very convenient location to many Paris sights (we walked to everything) and has great nearby restaurants, a grocery store and bakery.Turbigo is well-appointed, roomy, spotless and has comfortable beds.Best of all, the owner, Louis, was so helpful. He met us at arrival (even though we were several hours late) and showed us everything in the apartment and surroundings, gave great suggestions. He was available for questions throughout our stay. Highly recommend this VRBO!

Sisters/Cousins trip

4 women in their 60's had a wonderful, comfortable stay at this convenient apartment in Marais. It was clean and warm and had everything that we needed. It was also very close to the metro. The best part was the involvement of our host Louis who met us at the apartment, showed us around the area, and stayed in touch to make sure we were comfortable. I would stay here again.

Dream Location

First of all, our host, Louis, was very helpful, super pleasant. The apartment was just as advertised. It had all our needs covered. The location was outstanding next to 2 key metro stops and great neighborhoods including Le Marais and the Canal de St Martin. We had an awesome stay.

For those of you like myself who rely on honest reviews… this was a really lovely apartment in a great location. You are literally over the street from a great grocery store and a few minutes walk if that to 2 metro stations. The area is perfect if you like to walk to bars, cafes and restaurants. We were in Paris with a teen girl and she loved the area. The apartment coped well with the Paris heatwave and there were standing fans in all of the rooms. We are used to central AC and I was worried about this but we slept well with the fans and keeping the shutters closed during the day to the late evening. Finally, I have to echo other guests to say how amazing the hosts are. We took up Louis’s offer to arrange a car service from the airport and I’m so glad we did. We were out the airport and at the apartment very quickly. We were met by Jen, who is just wonderful. She made sure we understood how everything in the apartment worked and then took us on a great tour around the area to point out places to go and so we could get our bearings. She sent us recommendations of stores for my daughter which was so sweet of her. Jen and Louis checked up on us to make sure we had everything we needed. If you are looking for a 100% secure rental with no issues then book this one. I would not hesitate to recommend it. Thank you for a great stay!

Great apartment, great location, great host

Our stay was amazing and the flat was perfect for our family. Louis went above and beyond, including giving us a walking tour of the neighborhood on arrival. The location is ideal - great neighborhood and close to everything, with ideal access to the metro. Louis recommendations were spot on, and the flat was exactly as advertised. I’m not sure when we’ll be back in Paris, but we’d certainly stay here again. Thanks.

This was an absolutely beautiful, clean, spacious apartment that was perfect for my family of four during our stay in Paris. The location was perfect. There were ample markets and restaurants nearby, and the Metro was a very short walk where we could get anywhere we wanted in Paris. Louis was a WONDERFUL host! He was responsive and thorough in all communication, making sure we had all of the info and resources we needed for our stay. He also took us on a walking tour of the neighborhood upon arrival, showing us all of the great local cheese and wine shops, the patisseries, and the most amazing chocolate you will ever eat. We loved our stay in Paris, and would recommend this property (and stay again!) in a heartbeat.

Amazing stay!

This was our first visit in Paris and I couldn’t recommend this place more. The location of the apartment was ideal for our trip; close to main attractions, easily accessible with the metro, and a lot of great shopping and restaurants nearby. The apartment had everything we needed. I really appreciated being able to use the laundry facilities and the apartment stayed cool during our warmer weather stay. I must mention that Louis and Paolo were the most amazing hosts. Paolo gave us a neighborhood tour after showing us the apartment which was so helpful and kind. Louis was always available if needed and very kindly helped arrange transport to and from the airport/train station. Our first trip to Paris was amazing and a lot of that is thanks to Louis.
