Pros: Roomy house with plenty of parking space.Cons: Invasive verification process, uncomfortable temperature control, and a lack of privacy.Be cautious hardwood floors have alot of flaws, for example I understand it's an older home but you can't walk barefooted. Can feel pinched as you walk so suggest you wlk with shoes. The home is roomy and offers plenty of parking space, I strongly suggest looking at another property. The booking experience was stressful from the start. Even though Vrbo already handles identity verification, this host required an extra, invasive verification process after taking payment. They asked for a copy of a driver’s license, a credit card copy, and a selfie via regular messaging, followed by a phone call demanding the same information before finally sending property details.Once there, the stay was deeply uncomfortable. The host remotely controls and overrides the AC unit. Everyone knows Texas heat gets close to 100 degrees, and expecting to come home to a cool house to escape the heat is a given—instead, we found the temperature had been remotely changed up to 80 degrees. Everyone in our group was miserable and irritated. To make matters worse, the property is heavily monitored. They use cameras to track who is in the home and when, and there are infrared sensors all over the interior. If you want a comfortable stay where you can actually relax and control your own climate without being watched, do yourself a favor and rent elsewhere.
