Welcome to your private oasis in Wilmington! Our fully remodeled home offers everything you need for a comfortable and memorable stay. Nestled on a secluded lot, this modern retreat features an expansive screened porch, a cozy wood-burning fireplace, and an open floor plan with vaulted ceilings and a gas fireplace. Enjoy stylish, newer furniture that adds to the home's relaxed vibe.

Outdoors, you'll find multiple spaces designed for relaxation and entertainment. Unwind on the deck, screened porch, or in the custom gazebo overlooking a scenic tidal creek. Paddle your kayak or stand-up paddleboard directly from the property to the beautiful Intracoastal Waterway and Masonboro Island for a true coastal experience.

Indoors, the spacious family room is perfect for gathering, with the gas fireplace providing extra warmth on cooler evenings. When it’s time to explore, you’re in the ideal location: walk to nearby pubs, restaurants, a mini-mart, playground, and a public boat launch all within a mile. Coming in 2025, a multi-use city trail along Masonboro Loop Road will be just a half-mile from the house.

Our home is also centrally located for all Wilmington has to offer:

Exactly what we needed

This house is perfect in all ways. Location is great - close to UNCW and Wrightsville. The screened porch was an added bonus when raining. Comfortable beds, sofas and kitchen well stocked. We will definitely rent again if we have the need.

Great home tucked away in a nice quiet neighborhood just minutes away from everything. The home is clean and well maintained, and the outdoor living space is great for hanging out. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

Gorgeous House

This is probably one of the best rentals we have ever stayed in. The house is beautiful, spotless and well cared for. The attention to detail and quality of furnishings were great. We especially enjoyed the screened in porch and deck. Jeff was very responsive but we honestly had very few issues. Would highly recommend this property.

Amazing Property!!

What an incredible property!! The home is just beautiful, and the screened porch was beyond our expectations. The owners have thought of everything and we could not have been more thrilled to spend the week here for our son’s graduation from UNCW. We only wish we had found this property earlier in his tenure there!! Will definitely be back next time we have plans in the Wilmington area!

Another Wonderful Experience

Wonderful House

We travel a lot and have stayed at many rental properties. This is one of the absolute best. The house was immaculate, tucked away in a quiet cul-de-sac yet convenient to parks, restaurants, sightseeing, beaches. The neighborhood was attractive, and the neighbors were all very friendly. The house was well supplied with virtually anything we could ask for, and Jeff quickly responded to all our questions. We would happily stay again if we were in the area, and we would certainly recommended this house to anyone planning a trip to Wilmington.

Great Vacation Rental!

Absolutely gorgeous home that is convenient to everything! This is the most well-stocked vacation rental we’ve ever stayed in with plenty of towels, beach chairs, beach towels, bikes, kitchen & bathroom essentials, etc. The furniture and decor is beautiful, comfortable, and there’s lots of live plants. The screened in porch is amazing also! The beds are very comfortable and have nice linens. Our only recommendation is to have a set of twin beds or bunkbeds in one of the bedrooms to accommodate those who don’t like sharing a bed with someone. Overall, this is an amazing rental, and we had a wonderful time there!

Comfort, Natural Beauty, Good Times with Family

Everyone always says about vacation that they are “going to the beach,” so we say that too, but this is our second visit to this lovely home, and we still haven’t made it to any beach. The house is beautiful, comfortable, and quiet. We saw rabbits, squirrels, and quantities of birds in the backyard. We walked down to the dock at the end of the street and enjoyed the panoramic view. Close relatives met us for wonderful dinners nearly every night in restaurants of many cuisines. While we digested, we worked on a jigsaw puzzle. Our week flew by. Some members of our party threatened to hide under the beds so they wouldn’t have to leave. We had the best of times.

I didn't want to leave!!

I spent a month in this VRBO and there isn't a rating high enough to give Jeff and Ellen's house! Jeff met me at check-in to give us a tour and instructions., and he responded quickly to any questions I had throughout the moths. The home was meticulously clean, the beds, sheets, blankets, and furniture were so soft and cozy. The floor plan of the house is perfect. The kitchens and baths are well appointed. The landscaping is lush and well maintained giving us a feeling of privacy. The neighborhood is clean and beautiful with friendly neighbors, and seemed very safe. I DEFINITELY would rent this space again. As I mentioned....I DIDN'T want to leave!!

Fantastic Home

Our family had a wonderful trip to Wilmington and it was made even better by our stay in this home. It was very clean and comfortable; we felt very at home in this house. The amenities were fantastic as well. The open floor plan allowed our family to be able to chat whether someone was sitting at the bar eating, someone was cooking or they were sitting in the living room relaxing. The outdoor spaces were awesome too! You have so many options, you feel like you don't have to go anywhere to enjoy some time outside. You could be in bug-free shade (with ceiling fans) or out under a large pavillion or up on the deck, drinking coffee or wine and enjoying your view. They also provided a lot for the home so you really don't have to bring very much if you don't want to. The neighborhood was small and quiet and perfect for daily walks. It was a great bonus to have a dock to walk to with areas to sit and there was even a bench swing. The owners are so nice and let us know they were available if we needed anything or had any questions. Overall, our experience was top tier and we wouldn't want to stay anywhere else when we visit again. Thank you, Jeff and Elle, for opening your home to myself and my family!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property is beautiful and there are several outdoor sitting areas. The kitchen is well-equipped, the beds are comfy, and we did not want for anything! There are also a couple of restaurants within walking distance. We definitely plan to stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay at this property and will recommend this rental house to anybody traveling to Cape Fear. The check-in process was very easy as all access codes were provided well in advance. The owner of the property provided all the information and rules to abide by during our stay. He also provided a way to communicate with him directly if any issues were encountered. The property is extremely well maintained and beautiful. Furthermore, the pictures shown as advertisement are exact representations of the house. Just to emphasize some of the best aspects of the property: the kitchen was beautiful and fully equipped, the living/ dinning room space was ample and functional, and the bathroom in the master suite was amazing. The rest of amenities included a breathtaking outdoor space and a 2 car garage that was very useful. This place was one of the best properties my family has ever stayed in. It made for a wonderful first time visit to NC.

Mason Knoll

Mason Knoll is an amazing find and Jeff is amazing. He was responsive to our inquiries and is kind and understanding. We had stayed at Mason Knoll with my father (3 generations), myself and husband and daughters. Jeff remembered us and, since my father has passed, he offered his condolences and welcomed us back after time away. This is a wonderful place located in a great area of town (easy access to downtown Wilmington and the beaches) and a great community.

Amazing stay and felt like home!

I would highly recommend staying here! The property felt like I was staying at home. The location was very nice in a quiet neighborhood and the house was stocked with more than you’ll ever need for your stay. We stayed there with 6 adults and our toddler daughter and we had plenty of room. The house had lots of seating and the outdoor spaces were perfect! Jeff was very helpful and responsive through the booking process and our stay. If you’re in the area don’t miss out on this house!

My wife and I have traveled extensively and understand what makes a great vacation experience. We have hosted vacation properties for seven years and this is our newest addition. We purchased and have lived in this home for several years. The house was selected because of its location within Wilmington as well as its private backyard and coastal/tropical feel. We enjoy working with our guests and get great satisfaction from the positive feedback from our guests.

We selected this home several years ago as a down-sizing opportunity. The central coastal location within Wilmington provides access to everything popular in 10 - 15 minutes. There are two restaurants within walking distance (approximately 1/3 mile) Whiskey Trail Restaurant & The Keg and Egg as well as a convenience store. We especially fell in love with the small friendly neighborhood and covered gazebo on the community dock. The location of the house in the neighborhood also provided a lot of backyard privacy, vacant lot next to our house.

Coastal experience without the noise and crowds. The property location is central to downtown, Wrightsville Beach, and Carolina Beach. The community dock with gazebo / picnic table provides a spot to launch kayaks, SUP boards or just enjoy relaxing sunsets and waterfowl.
