This cabin is absolutely everything I wanted it to be! Will be coming back in the winter. We even got to see momma bear and her three cubs they say we were leaving as they came right up the driveway.

Cabin was wonderful. Decorated so pretty. The screened in porch was cozy and the hot tub was a plus. Beds and pillowed were so comfy.

Absolutely beautiful with just the right amount of comforts and sweet touches to make anyone feel blessed to be there and comfortable enough to relax and rewind. Very private with long flat drive way made packing/unpacking a breeze. Comfy couches, two recliners and cozy beds! Would not change a single thing! Thank you!

Stunning and relaxing

We took a trip with my older parents and my high school senior. This cabin was perfect. My parents loved the screened in porch and my daughter loved the hot tub. It is a windy road to the cabin but so worth it for this place. Even saw a black bear near by! Beautiful cabin and wonderful stay!

Great getaway

The cabin was cozy and had everything we needed. Hot tub worked well, and you can tell the owners take good care of their property. It is definitely in the woods so be prepared for a long, narrow, winding and steep road to the cabin. It is hidden a bit so very private but does lack mountain views if you are looking for that. The cabin has everything you need and then some. The kids were a little bummed that you can't have firepits, that and a limited view are probably the only 2 downsides for us, otherwise it was great!

Great cabin, but..

This is a great cabin and very beautifully maintained. It has great amenities like the hot tub and the patio area. The hosts stocked the kitchen well enough that you have all of the things you need to cook. It is high in the mountains so you feel the change in environment and feel the "getaway". I have nothing but positive things to say about the place itself. Where it fell short for us were the rigid rules. You read the house rules online, then they are posted on the refrigerator, they are in a binder, there are signs every where of what you cannot do. That was everyone's first impression instead of the surroundings. So although the place was beautiful, these rules everywhere left us uncomfortable and not having the "home away from home" feeling. I understand that the owners want to protect their investment, but it comes across as unwelcoming. As well, they do not grant access until it is literally 4 pm. I had to use the bathroom after the 4 hour trip from Atlanta. We were 10 minutes early and I hoped we would have even 5 minutes grace where the door would be open, but nope, it is 4 pm. So if you don't mind all the the rules, (which we never broke) then, this is a great place to stay. For us, that was too much considering you pay a financial penalty if you damage anything.. so I don't need to see posted rules everywhere telling me I cannot move this or open a closet or have to pay a fee. That was all VERY off putting.

Hi Giselle, Thank you so much for your feedback. The rules and checkout instructions are listed together on the fridge and in the owner’s manual, as well as online so that guests have easy access to everything needed just in case you don’t read the manual, or read the emails. This is simply for convenience purposes. Most people wouldn’t even need a list of rules, but because you’d be surprised what people feel is acceptable , we cover it. If it’s in the rules, unfortunately it’s because it’s necessary. As for the check in time- we would have been happy to grant access early. Actually, we do often when guests send a quick message to us... I did just today. I’m available via text and that’s all that was needed to get in early but you didn’t ask. Your review implies we denied your request. That’s not the case. We have cleaners that clean top to bottom including draining the hot tub after each stay and so this takes time. We are also not the only cabin they service so we set check in at 4 in order to give our girls plenty of time to get everything in order for our guests. Owning and investing in every item that is in this space and allowing others to use it, requires trusting each guest... as our guests trust us to provide everything we say we will for the stay. We just want to be clear of what is expected on both sides, that’s all. I’m truly sorry if you found our posted rules off putting- as I’m sure you guys would have cared for things just fine without them... but the rules are necessary reminders for those who aren’t as mindful. People move furniture... they leave the cover off of the hot tub, etc. We would love to have you guys back for a visit if you’re ever back in our neck of the woods.

The cabin was very clean and spacious. The hot tub was clean and the temperature was perfect. Both beds were comfortable. Although we did not cook there was plenty of cookware. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Very nice comfortable cabin, we saw a bear while unloading the car when we arrived, it just casually walked down the drive right passed us. Everyone really enjoyed their stay and i personally enjoyed the hot tub.

Our Stay in the Mountains

We had a wonderful time during our trip to Tennessee. The cabin was fully equipped with everything we needed to make for a comfortable stay. The hot tub was amazing and the privacy was spectacular. We will definitely keep this place in mind when visiting in the future. We have memories to last a lifetime.

Great Location. Beautiful cabin

This was a beautiful cabin and in a great location if you want to stay away in the mountains away from the hustle and bustle. If you stay here prepare for 30 minute drive times due to the small, windy roads up to the cabin. It was nice and quiet where this cabin is located. We enjoyed sitting on the screened in porch and relaxing in the hot tub after our hikes. There’s no need to bring a pack n play or booster seat as the owner has both of those there for you to use. My only complaint was the pressure in the upstairs shower and the screen door on the screened in porch was crooked which allowed bugs to get in at night. Other than that everything was great and we enjoyed our time.

For first time visitors, I just want to verify that time from the cabin to King’s Branch Rd is 10 minutes- but if you are not used to driving in the mountains, it will probably require a little more caution in some areas but it is two fully paved lanes the entire way.

Great stay

We had a wonderful time at this cabin and would love to return in the future. Very clean. Quiet. And beds are very comfortable.
