Loved the house and how cozy it is! Amenities were great, host and event planner/house help were super accommodating and it was just what we wanted for our stay!

Amazing animal watching! Casa Calma was private with all amenities. The pool and air conditioning were fantastic! Wai was attentive and quick to respond with any questions and requests. We highly recommend!

Being able to sit out on the covered patio and watch the monkeys move through the trees and listen to the rainforest in the evenings.

Our family had an excellent stay at Casa Calma! The house was very clean and well maintained and had everything we needed during our stay. One of the highlights of our vacation was seeing monkeys right outside the house! Our concierge, Wai, was very helpful in planning and booking activities during our stay and having daily housekeeping (with laundry service) was a great bonus! The house is located a bit off the main road down some very narrow streets so I would recommend trying to arrive during the day or mapping it out in advance.

We had a lovely time, and we appreciate how much planning we were able to do with Wai beforehand. I did not expect to have our laundry taken care of for us - that was quite a surprise! Everyone we encountered in the neighborhood was friendly and the nights were quiet - just how we like it. I think our favorite part of our stay in the home was sitting on the patio deck and listening to the wildlife. Pura Vida!

Comfortable jungle home

Nice home with a large upper deck patio in a jungle setting. Pool is nice and Wai the property manager was very helpful and set up several day trips.

Beautiful and comfortable

The house is very comfortable and clean. The surroundings are beautiful and serene. Communication with host and property manager was very good. And they set up great excursions and transportation for us.

Top notch experience at this property! The cleanliness stood out to my wife and I. Also, what a treat having clean laundry every day! The cleaning staff truly went above and beyond. We woke to the sounds of the jungle and its wildlife every morning. My two young girls played in the pool every night and had such a blast. After long days of adventuring it was nice to come home to a cool pool swim and a clean space for movie nights and family time! Casa calma was such a wonderful property that was very well managed and maintained!

Incredible!

Casa Calma was perfection for our family. The pool was the perfect size for our two young children, we saw monkeys from the balcony every day, and the house had everything we needed. On top of that, Wai went above and beyond to make sure we had an easy, memorable stay. Don’t think twice: book Casa Calma!

Awesome house, and incredible staff! Wai was a great help and we felt very welcomed and at home instantly. Fully stocked kitchen so we were able to easily cook meals. Location was solid as we could walk to markets, shops or restaurants; a taxi to these areas run roughly 10 USD. Very centralized for activities such as beach, zip lining or exploring parks. Very highly recommended!!

Beautiful, Big, Private Hideaway

Perfect for large family groups, with options for indoor and outdoor lounging and eating. It is best to have a 4 wheel drive and early excursions and plan to get back before dark because it is definitely up at the top of the road. We really enjoyed the sounds and sights of the jungle, including a howler monkey serenade.

Beautiful home

Loved the home! We felt safe and secure. Friendly neighbor with lots of cats and dogs! You should have 4-wheel drive to get to and from home.

Thank you for the feedback and we’re so glad you enjoyed your stay. Just to clarify, you do not need a 4 x 4 to get in and out of the house. All the roads are paved, there are a couple bumps and bruises along the way, but nothing that a regular car cannot handle. We do not recommend a low-lying sports car but any regular car or 4 x 4 will do fine.

Best vacation ever!!

Beautiful house! Wai met us at the house when we arrived. Showed us around and answered all questions. The cleaner was amazing, she did all of our laundry before we left to come home. Great location, close to everything. And we saw monkeys every morning. Would definitely stay again!!

Jungle Paradise

We enjoyed our stay at Casa Calma, a beautiful home located on the edge of the Manuel Antonio Park. The house is furnished well and has a great, brand new kitchen. We saw all kinds of tropical birds, deer and other native animals around the house. The management was very accommodating and made checking in and out very easy. I highly recommend you book this property for a relaxing and refreshing vacation in paradise.

Outstanding!

This location is just wonderful- particularly if you’re interested in wildlife. Tons of monkeys, toucans, butterflies. The property is very well payed out with three bedrooms/bathrooms plus another half bath. Wai was exceptional from the moment we booked and throughout the trip. Odette cleaned the property daily - and did our laundry. Completely enjoyed our stay and highly recommend.

Stay at Casa Calma

We loved our stay. Having the pool was great. We enjoyed getting up early every morning and sitting in the outdoor living area, listening to the monkeys and birds. What are you doing on the left side had a pretty strong smell to it I am glad that we didn’t have to use that bedroom because I don’t think I could’ve slept in it. Other than that everything else was wonderful.

Sibling Trip

We spent a week at Casa Calma on a sibling trip. It was amazing!!! The house was perfect for our three couples. It is so pretty and private. Wai, the concierge, was so helpful arranging our outings and just checking to make sure everything was good at the house. The housekeeper was almost wonderful. We went home with clean clothes! Highly recommend Casa Calma and would definitely stay there again!!!

The Perfect Stay

From initial reservation to pre-trip activity planning, to check-in and throughout our entire stay, Casa Calma was an outstanding experience all around. We opted for the private chef for all of our dinners and this turned out to be a great move. The chef offered an expansive and fresh menu—and the flexibility to change plans when we caught a mahi mahi. The house is very clean, secure and a great place to watch wildlife in the jungle. Concierge service is a huge value. Will definitely come back!

Relax Costa Rica

Wai was an amazing host from the time we checked in until the day we departed. He even came early in the morning the day we left to make sure our stay was what we thought it would be. Home is in a great neighborhood. We had monkeys come through everyday mornings and afternoons. Home was awesome as well. Very comfortable close to both Quespos and Manuel Antonio. Beautiful jungle home

This home is lovely and just how described. Beautiful and comfortable furnishings and kitchen very well stocked. We spent a lot of time on the outside veranda especially in the mornings while having coffee and watching the birds and butterflies. Bedrooms are very comfortable and air conditioner units were great. We also loved the pool area and would spend our afternoons enjoying it. Home is tucked back into the jungle; we had a car so was no problem coming and going. I would highly recommend this house!
