Charming T3 particularly well appointed, warm, located in the very lively Bastille district. <br>2 separate bedrooms with good quality beds, shower room, separate toilet, equipped kitchen, living room, sofa bed, TV, wifi.<br>Bright, comfortable, Ideally located to enjoy the Capital with ease.<br><br>APARTMENT DESCRIPTION: <br>The area of the accommodations are 47.3m2.<br><br>Located on the 3rd floor without elevator, rue de Lappe*. <br>*Particularly lively street in the evening with its bars and restaurants.<br><br>It can accommodate up to 6 people thanks to the sofa bed in the living room (sleeps 2). <br><br>The apartment has 2 bedrooms which allows you to have your privacy during a stay with friends or family. <br>The 1st bedroom is composed of a double bed 140x190cm and the second of 2 single beds installed in the Italian style (double bed). <br><br>The fully equipped kitchen. Very practical, it will make you want to cook good dishes during your stay.<br><br>The bathroom has a shower, sink, hairdryer.<br>WC with separate sink.<br><br>*2 magnificent fans at your disposal in hot weather* <br><br>INFORMATION: <br>The entire apartment is dedicated to travelers. <br>No common area except the small stairwell of the building in which it is requested to respect the calm.<br><br>The keys are systematically handed over by a member of the team who is present to answer your questions.<br><br>*Groups of young people under 21 years old are not accepted.<br>*non-smoking <br>*no pets<br>*prohibition of organizing parties <br><br>We offer a late check-in service on request (to be booked in advance):<br>-30€ between 8pm and 9pm.<br>-50€ between 9pm & 10pm.<br>-70€ between 10pm & 11pm. No reception beyond that.<br>To be paid in cash or by cheque on arrival (against a receipt) or by bank transfer to the agency before your arrival.<br><br>Rental of childcare equipment or fans/air conditioners/auxiliary heaters: €50 (for the entire duration of the stay).<br><br>We invite you to respect the time of the appointment that you have set for us. Do not hesitate to arrive a little earlier than the time set. In case of delay in the check-in time initially agreed with you, our hostess will not be able to wait for you.<br>Another appointment time must be set and you will be billed 30€.<br>Thank you for your understanding and do not hesitate for any other questions.<br><br>Fee of 30€ for an arrival on December 24 & 31 after 6 pm, and on December 25 and January 1 to be paid on arrival in cash or check (against a receipt) or by bank transfer to the agency before your arrival.<br><br>In the event of loss of the key to the accommodation during your stay, the lock on the door will have to be changed. The cost of this action will be deducted from your deposit.<br><br>Concerning the end-of-stay cleaning & laundry package included in your reservation:<br>We provide linen treated by a professional service, prepare the apartment for your comfort and your arrival, and do the cleaning at the end of your stay.<br><br>For bookings of one month or more, an intermediate cleaning at the price of 75€ (every two weeks) must be carried out and at your expense. This is to maintain and check the accommodation.<br><br>Any trip that is not of an emergency nature will be invoiced to the tenant. This is to limit abusive travel. Great location

The location couldn’t be more convenient, right in the heart of the city with easy access to public transport and local attractions. The rental itself was impeccably clean.

Great spot for night life

With one or two small changes this spot could be great. The noise on the street literally did not end, which we were aware of because the windows had to stay open because it was stiflingly stuffy. When closed the windows kept noise down, so the addition of a few fans would make a huge difference. The apartment itself was lovely!

A good base to explore Paris

Had a very nice stay here. Beds are comfortable, kitchen is well appointed. Close walk to Bastille metro, bus lines, and taxi stand, and easy to walk to many points of interest. Check-in and check-out were very easy. The apartment is on a busy street, but the windows are insulated so you hear very little noise despite being in the thick of things. No A/C but the owners provided fans. Be aware this is a third-floor walk-up and that the doors between rooms are very low (tall people beware!).

Too much norse to sleep.

The noise from the street was extremely loud. After two nights without sleep we decided to leave for a quieter place. The owner was very friendly an wrote that it was our own fault choosing a lively neighbourhood. Only stay in this place if you don't need sleep.

Dear Astrid, I condemn your comments about me. I never said it was your fault! I told you that if you were so sensitive to noise then you should have booked in a quieter area and not in the heart of the Bastille, the liveliest area of the capital as everyone knows. In addition, we exchanged before your arrival. You would have asked us how the neighborhood was. Everything is indicated in our ad. Next time find out.

Paris

The accommodation is centrally located, much is within walking distance, the metro, the Seine is close. Overall, a nice, lively environment. However, the street is a party mile, and if you want to have peace and quiet at night, you should not choose this accommodation. The apartment is okay for a few days/nights. The stairwell, however, is creepy; gloomy, wallpaper half torn off. At first I thought I had landed at "Les Miserables".

Great place

The space was great but EXTREMELY LOUD. Right across the alley from a very loud bar that doesn’t close until 6am. In warmer months you have to choose between fresh air to cool the place down or the loudest sleep of your life. Also there were painters painting the stairway the entire trip and we got covered in paint from going up and down the 4 floors to get in and out every trip out. Otherwise the place was great.

Clean property in Bastille

Property is in Bastille. A small street which has a lot of bars and pubs. Although they are noisy at night, the windows are double glazed, so can't hear a thing when quiet. We were able to sleep a family of 4 very comfortably in apartment. Friendly and frequent communication from managers made arriving very easy. We would highly recommend apartment. We would stay again if we come back. Couple of downsides of property, which wlfor us were no big deal were: - As apartment was compact, there was some, but limited room for clothes, so although some clothes were in shelves, my wife's and my clothes were mainly in suitcase (which didn't bother me). Also, toilet is adjacent to kitchen. Again, not a big deal, as there is a lockable sliding door, it is not completely sound proof. Overall loved the place!

Great host and central location

We really enjoyed our stay at Veronique’s apartment. There was plenty of space for my husband, myself, and our 15 month old son for our three night stay. The kitchen was well outfitted and beds were comfortable. The rain shower was lovely. If I had to nitpick, I would say that we could have used a fan, as we were there during a French heat wave and with the noise outside it was hard to leave the windows open at night. To comment on other reviews about the noise - it really depends what you are in Paris for! The street is very lively with people until the early hours of the morning. People who want to spend their evenings enjoying the Paris nightlife would really benefit from this spot. My son was able to sleep through the noise with a white noise machine in his room with no problems. The true highlight of our stay, though, was Veronique, who was an excellent communicator from beginning to end and allowed my son and I to stay in a past check out when a disaster car rental scenario happened. She was incredibly understanding and accommodating, and I think we were sort of high maintenance. I would absolutely rent from her again.

Nice apartment - but ...

The apartment is on the third floor of an old building, is functionally furnished and centrally located. Bastille metro station just a few minutes walk away. Unfortunately, we made the mistake of ignoring the reviews of other guests. The apartment has no air conditioning. So we were forced to spend the night with the window open - impossible with 75dB noise at 3am! It would also be helpful to know that the door frames in the apartment are a maximum of 1.75 m high. Tall people must constantly duck their heads when moving from room to room. If an apartment is advertised as “with a parking space”, it should at least state that this parking space is not free of charge. I couldn't find a tumble dryer (machine). But a drying rack.

Great apartment in all ways but one

I stayed in this apartment for six nights in June 2023 with my friend and her 10-year-old daughter. Here are the pros: It's a nice 2 bedroom near many cafes, international restaurants, and shops. It's also a short walk to the Bastille metro. The cons: It is located on Rue de Lappe, the Bourbon St of Paris. It is a street of bars that stay open until after 5:00 am. We visited during a heatwave and were extremely hot without leaving the windows open (no A/C). However, that meant hearing the sounds of partiers in the street ALL NIGHT until 5:30am. It was like trying to sleep inside a night club. The bar Yellow Mad Monkey is directly across the street. After two nights of about 45 minutes of sleep we were zombies. A local waitress told us we looked exhausted and was shocked when we told her what street we were staying on. She said it's the only street with bars open that late. Luckily, it cooled down on night 3 and we decided to shut the windows. Miraculously, the closed windows were enough to block the noise! We were still hot, but we actually finally slept. The property needs fans for air circulation for warm nights. Also, the description doesn't mention that it's at the top of 3 very narrow and steep flights of stairs, so it's not for those with mobility issues. In summary, you will love this apartment if you visit during cooler months, or if you are wanting to stay up all night and party right outside your window. If it hadn't been so hot we'd have no complaints!

Sehr gute Lage

Die Wohnung liegt mitten in einem sehr schönen viertel, mit viele Restaurants und geschäfte. Da wR was für uns allen zu machen und gucken.

Une semaine au cœur de Paris

Nous étions de sortie la journée avec métro à deux pas, et rentrions le soir, petit appartement bien aménagé, quartier très animé petit point noir, le bruit en soirée qui pourrait déranger ceux qui veulent du calme, pour notre part nous avons passé un très bon séjour et l'emplacement est idéal pour visiter Paris. Bon accueil également.
