Little Slice of Heaven on Little Gasparilla

We had such an amazing trip over Memorial Day weekend! The house was absolutely perfect. Thank you again for opening up your beach house for us - we will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful stay, again. This was our third time in this home. The location and size of the home are perfect for our family and we love the private dock. Our family of 4 spent 2 weeks here and plan to return!

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful home on LGI! The house was spotless, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and you can truly tell the owners put so much thought into every detail. It felt welcoming the moment we arrived. We especially loved having the Christmas tree up—it made our stay feel extra cozy and festive. The location was perfect, and the dock was a huge bonus for enjoying the water. We couldn’t have asked for a better place and can’t wait to come back

Perfect vacation home

We had the best time and the house was perfect once again. Love the private dock, kayaks and screened porch is perfect for the evenings. We will be back!

Paradise

This is truly a diamond in the rough don’t hesitate to book this wonderful vacation spot pack your bags now. My husband and I stayed for three days and we wish we could’ve been there for three months. It’s meticulously designed has everything you could need or want a beautiful home with a beautiful dock..

Perfect vacation home

The home was beautiful and clean and the owners were friendly and very responsive . It was the perfect size for our family of 4 . The private dock was a huge plus with freshwater and electric for cleaning the boat up after a day on the water. The kids also enjoyed fishing off of it while we were at the house .We loved every second of our stay on the island and cannot wait to come back.

Clean & comfortable

No complaints at all with this home and its accommodations. It was a bit of an adventure to find the best path to the beach without crossing across personal property. Great place to just “unplug”!

Awesome Property

The house was perfect for our family of 4. The location and views of the sound were spectacular. The house was very clean and had absolutely everything we needed. The kitchen was fully stocked for all of the cooking needs. Clint was very communicative and answered any questions we had very timely. We would definitely stay here again!

Great LGI cottage home with private dock

Fabulous house for my family of 4! Amazing views from the screened in porch which is a must for me! Private dock allowed for easy boat docking and fishing. Short walk to the beautiful gulf coast beach - many sharks teeth and treasured shells found. Bring bug spray for island no seeums and mosquitos!

Great getaway

Clint We loved sitting on the porch with a cup of coffee and looking at the Bay. Evening with a glass of wine was a joy too. Short walk to the Beach made the Beach easy to reach. Very clean and organized. Loved the grill by the way. Simple to use and perfectly cooked everything. We be back to stay. Hopefully sooner than later. Greg

Boater's Paradise

Perfect dock and house for a boat vacation with family! The Captain's directions were easy to follow and reasonable. We were able to clean our boat at the dock and walk into a clean, comfortable house. Everything worked well. We enjoyed breakfast in the screened patio with a gorgeous view of the water and sky. The open kitchen plan welcomed exciting family dinners. The living room was relaxing watching movies and laughing over adventures. Thank you so much for sharing Captain and the Mermaids with us!

My husband and I very much enjoyed our island vacation. The view from the porch was beautiful. The water was beautiful. We wished we could have fishes more but we had some issues with our depth finder, but we still had an opportunity to enjoy the water. We have a second him that we go to most weekends so we enjoyed just laying around, cruising around, playing games, and just enjoying each other's company. If you want to unwind from the daily stressors, then this is the place to go. Thank you for having a well stocked, clean house, plenty of dishes, and all the necessities. Parking was easy at Eldred's marina. Gasparilla marina was wonderful with great service. The music and lights on the porch was our happy place. Overall, we had a fantastic stay.

Perfect getaway

We have been to the island many times, and stayed at 4 different homes. This one was our favorite . We loved the private dock, and the view from the porch which was by far where we spent a lot of time . The sunrises are beautiful from there. The house was perfect for just the two of us and our two little Dogs . The house is cozy and cottage like , with a well appointed kitchen . The homeowner was attentive and checked on us upon arrival to make sure we were all set. We reccomend taking a day trip to Caya Costa if beachcombing is your thing. If you don’t have a boat, Willie on the island will take you ! We hope to come back here again !

Week in Paradise

Thank you for sharing your island home with us! We especially loved the screened in porch where we watched the sunrise while we drank our coffee each morning. The short walk to the beach was perfect and we loved having the chairs at the end of the path to use on the beach. Clint was so accommodating and the house was immaculate and had everything we could need and more! The beds were incredibly comfortable and the furnishings were so well done! We cannot wait to return and make more memories with our family! Also be sure to take advantage of Evan with Island Grocery Delivery Service for both food delivery and trash removal, he makes everything so easy. We have been to the island three times now, love it, and this was by far our favorite place we have stayed! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for sure!!

Comfort and relaxation

This stay was better than imagined. From booking, it seemed too good to be true, but upon arrival any doubts drifted away. Everything was as pictured and the communication provided before and during our trip was prompt, answered questions and the instructions were spot on! The location on bayside had a screened in porch with dining table seating is which is where we ate every dinner and I enjoyed my morning coffee viewing spectacular sunrises! We used the attached dock daily for fishing. Its a short walk to the beach which is totally do-able as long as you don't have a ton of stuff to take. We did get a golf cart for part of our stay and that was fantastic as there are multiple paths to park at the beach edge. The island is amazing for pure relaxation and the stay at this house was fabulous.

Amazing views on LGI

Don’t miss out on this great property on LGI. We vacationed with two adults and our twin 14 year old boys for spring break. Checking in was seamless at this bayside home. The owners were quick to respond to any questions we had during our stay. Highlights: private dock was in great condition and we spent our mornings sitting on the dock watching the sunrise. Did I mention how much we loved the private dock, and not having to share?! Location is perfect as it’s literally right inside the no wake zone. We zippped over to Eldreds in five minutes and down to the point in just a few minutes. Screened in porch is to die for with the amazing views of the bay and boats coming across. They had several kayaks and a stand up paddle board for our use. We had a great time with these. Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook inside or on the awesome pellet grill. There were plenty trash bags, soap, cooking spices, ect in the kitchen. One thing not mentioned in the listing that was a great surprise was the large cart for transporting our gear from the dock to the house. This was a welcome surprise! Walk to the beach took less than three minutes at a very leisurely, flip flop pace. Thank you Captain & the Mermaids for an amazing stay on LGI.

OLD-TIME FLORIDA AT ITS BEST!We grew up in Florida and staying at this Little Gasparilla Island home felt like stepping back into Old Florida - but with all the modern conveniences you could want.The home is beautifully equipped with a full kitchen, outdoor grill/smoker, comfortable beds, and an absolutely breathtaking view overlooking the bay. The private boat dock made getting on the water effortless, and the beach is just a short walk away.My wife caught enough fish for dinner on two nights and spent hours collecting shark teeth and seashells along the shore. It was exactly the kind of vacation we had hoped for.Our host, Clint, was exceptional, responding to every question within about 15 minutes. His hospitality made an already wonderful stay even better.We absolutely love this home and Little Gasparilla Island—and we're confident you will too.

Great location and property

We love LGI and this property did not disappoint. Location was perfect for boat docking and fishing. Home was super clean and had well stock of cooking items and other items as well. Looking forward to visiting this property again.
