Amazing views. Incredible location. Beautiful space. “Villa Tranquila” is a 2 bedroom, 2.5 bath home offering breathtaking, panoramic views of ocean and green hillside. From the large wrap around balcony you can hear the waves of the surf, enjoy your private pool, grill a delicious dinner, and simply relax in this private space. Located just a 8-minute walk to the beach, and close to shops, restaurants and tourist attractions, you are sure to have a memorable Costa Rica experience.
As you enter at street level, this open-concept home has a main living area with an upscale lounge, comfortable dining area, and a fully equipped kitchen. The sliding glass doors open to the balcony which invites you an outdoor dining area where you can enjoy breakfast while sighting monkeys, sloths and wide variety of birds. The downstairs offers 2 bedrooms. One with a king size bed, and the other with 2 twins that can be connected into a king depending on your needs. Both bedrooms have a private balcony and a bathroom with a double sink vanity. There is also a common family room where you can watch TV and accommodate another 2 people with a futon and blow up mattress.

Wonderful property with breathtaking views. The drive to the beach is easy and we only shared the beach with a handful of people. Highly recommend!

Great place to stay with stunning views

Very nice place to stay, well kept and beautiful views. Pool is just right for my two grandchildren.

Kids loved the pool

This was a great place to stay with the family, the kids loved the pool and the adults loved the views! Also, we really enjoyed the area. Dominical was great and we loved the local waterfall/swimming hole in Dominicalito

Beautiful beach villa

Great villa with a wonderful view and patio for watching the birds and checking the surf. Location right across the street from Dominicalito and so close to Uvita and Dominical.

Relaxing

Perfect Dominicalito location for us. Great ocean views, walk to surfing beach and cafe, open layout with well equipped kitchen, indoor outdoor living even when raining, dense plantings provide privacy and an inviting plunge pool.

Wish we stayed longer

The view walking in made us all say WOW! Bright and comfortable, with lots of privacy. Everything we wanted in our Costa Rica adventure. Explored the local towns, beaches, waterfalls and loved every second. Would definitely stay here again.

Great View and nice pool

Two couples stayed here and it was nice that the bedrooms were roughly equivalent. Many times there's one nice room and one not so nice. Theses were both great with their own bathrooms. It was quite hot while we were there so it was ni e to have the pool. There was no shampoo, soap or such in the bathrooms and no laundry detergent so keep that in mind when packing.

VillaTranquila

Spectacular ocean view. Great balcony, patio and swimming pool. Wonderful, steep but manageable 10 minute walk to beach. Drying rack would have been nice. TV in awkward location with only beach chairs. Needs TLC: burnt lightbulbs and broken light fixtures. Intermittent but manageable highway noise. Despite this, we would return.

Spectacular views and birds!

I came with 2 friends and we really enjoyed the property and our stay. The location is super convenient to Uvita and Dominical. There is a waterfall walking distance and you can walk to the beach. The property was great, we loved the deck the views and the pool. There was plenty of room for the 3 of us to spread out. Only comment is we arrived very late (4am) and the place was dark and the a/c off. Would have been nice for the outside lights to be on and the a/c on. Also, we lost power one day and night, would have been great to have some flashlights and candles to find our way about at dark which happens early there.. overall an excellent property, clean, has everything you need including plenty of towels , just suggest they add flashlights / candles :-) Kitchen had everything though we did not cook in. It was a great week! Views are spectacular! Loved all the birds! Highly recommend!

Amazing View

Our family spent 3 nights here and loved it. The view is like a post card, the location to restaurants, activities, and the beach can’t be beat. Olmer the property manager was excellent to work with, and even went out of his way to obtain things over and above normal requests. I would love to give this place 5 stars but I can’t. For the price of the location, and the additional $100USD charge for cleaning I just can’t. Every piece of furniture we moved, including the garbage can in the middle of the kitchen, we found dirt, toys etc, like it hadn’t been cleaned since the last tenant stayed. There were stains on the towels, cloths smelled mouldy etc. It felt like best effort cleaning and to me that’s not acceptable when you charge people extra money for the place to be clean. I’m hoping this message allows the next family who stays there a more clean environment since our $100USD cleaning fee should cover for that. The previous tenant didn’t get their monies worth! I can ignore wall plugs being out of the wall with exposed wires, upkeep to the property lacking a little, it’s vacation in Costa Rica, and that was the least of my worries. But to charge extra for cleaning, and for it not to be clean, that’s not acceptable. I could have complained, but why should I waste my time doing that when I’m there to enjoy the country and the location. Otherwise this place was amazing and I’d stay here again.

Excellent sanctuary in a gated secure community on the hillside above Domocolito with outstanding views. Good communication with the community host. Great view patio and pool which are immersed in forested hillside with outstanding wildlife. Would definitely stay here again.
