Not COZY. It is in a quiet neighborhood but the areas surrounding the neighborhood are not good. This home is not well kept. Many dirty areas; the rules say not to wear shoes in the house but our feet became dirty walking around in bare feet. The decor and furniture are terrible. There are mostly bare walls with random things hung on the walls along with printed signs tacked up on the walls of most rooms. The living room couch was so worn, there are power strips hanging from the tv and spots on the walls where paint is not even. The beds are not comfortable. One of the mattresses says and we found a used glass under the bed. In the bathroom the water pressure is poor and for 4 of us we were left 3 towels and 2 wash cloths for a 2 night stay. Plan to bring your own toilet paper unless you like 1 ply scratch paper. Although we didn’t have a need to use it the kitchen was fine.

Disappointed

So I've stayed here in the past and it seems it has gone downhill.When we first arrived there were puddles on the dining room floor by the window. Not really sure where they came from, window wasn't open. Then when we were putting food away somebody had a box of Cheerios in the cabinet. There's a lot of mold In the lower cabinet next to the fridge. There are a ton of lids, but no pots and pans. My sheets had a burn mark in them and there was a water bottle cap on the floor in bedroom on the left, which to me means they didn't even vacuum. Also there was trash in the barrel. The bed itself leans toward the door so it's not even. The tub could really use some bleach. There were throw pillows on the bed but they were not arranged they were just thrown on there. Also there was a paint chip on the blanket. The living room TV on the wall had obviously died and there was one sitting on the floor. Why would I want to watch TV on the floor. Also one of the legs that holds it up was broken so it had to be careful not to touch it. I used to clean houses for a living and I've got to say I don't know who supposedly cleaned this place, but they didn't do anything.

Keep your expectations low

We were shocked at the unfinished feeling of the place. Broken blinds, 2 TVs in the living room with 1 on the floor, holes in the wall, exposed screws, tiny bedroom mirror, leis as wall decor, slanted uneven floors, walls needing paint, 1 bed so uncomfortable we switched to the 2nd bed. We cut our stay because of not wanting to stay any longer.

Do not stay here

Smells awful of smoke and they have signs saying every where no smoking so you know they are aware of the issue and did not disclose this before. We did not end up staying there and would not even give us a partial refund.

Fine neighborhood

The house was kind of beat up and it was filled with air fresheners which seemed suspect. The price was very low, so I guess we should have expected what we got.

Small house near Springfield

This home has the basics and is reasonably comfortable. The parking is good and the area is walkable. It was adequate for my needs.

The property was perfect for our needs (only utilized during the evening hours); very quiet neighborhood with numerous amenities nearby. The owner was always available to answer any property related issues/concerns. Only negative issue/concern was sharing the property with a tenant who was in the basement for 3 of 12 days, but was informed by the owner of the stay.

Lovely Property Amazing Host

I booked this for my elderly Mom and her adult granddaughter who were in town for the holidays and also awaiting a January 1 move in to a new apartment. Fidelis was attentive, kind, and responded quickly to any issues in the property. The place itself was truly like home away from home and convenient to stores, shopping and public transportation. I would recommend anyone looking for a cozy stay in Springfield to check it out. It is well worth the price. I would even say it is a bargain and a gem.

Disgusting

The worst property we have ever stayed at. It was so dirty we had to go guy cleaning materials to clean it ourself, the bathroom sink didnt work, and the bed sheets looked like they were never changed.

Wasn't worth what we paid!

Holes in the walls. Dirty. Dead bugs in the ceiling lights. Vrbo pictures are not current. Heater was preset to max at 64. No blankets.

Simple but Cozy

I booked this for my daughter who is looking to relocate to Western Mass from Central Mass and it was perfect for her. The host was extra helpful and accomodating, and while it was a small and simple space, she was very comfortable and cozy. She would definitely stay again.

We didn’t find anything cozy about this property. The Christmas decor tacked to the wall in August was creepy if anything. It was boiling hot when we arrived and took a while to get the ACs on and cool the place down. I felt safe enough since there were two of us, but the place was not in good shape and felt sketchy. Seeing a mouse running around and apparently living under my bed was the last straw and we would have left if it hadn’t been the middle of the night. Instead I spent the night googling “will mice crawl on you in the night” and needless to say did not sleep well. In the morning we were woken up early to move the car, which could have been communicated as a potential issue the night before. Overall it was not a good experience and I wouldn’t stay here again.

3 uncomfortable noghts

The house was anything but cozy ended up finding out somebody was living in the basement while we were renting upstairs when contacting the owner, he said don’t worry about it, The door to the basement connects to the hallway of the upstairs, which gave us everything to worry about, Everyone is safe. The apartments across the street had a bunch of young kids gathering in front of it, half the night After the first night it started to cool off and when I turned the heat on, it wouldn’t work so we kind of used extra blankets and made it the through the night and left at 5 AM the next morning. I will never rent this place again. This is the worst of my nine rentals in the last four years in Massachusetts to see my child at Westfield state The same issues as the other people had in the house, the sink faucet seem like it was falling off, the icemaker didn’t work. The handle in the shower seem like it was going to fall off. When we went to clean up, I went to throw the garbage away in the trashcan outside was completely full.

Enjoyable Visit

Picon Cozy was a great place to rest our weary heads. The neighborhood was quiet and the lodging/amenities met our needs very nicely. We'll definitely consider this place for future visits to the Springfield area 😊.
