Quiet, clean and beautiful cottage close enough to get downtown Madison and has nature right in the backyard. We were able to walk to a beautiful state park right from the cottage. The town also has great food and coffee shops. The hosts are accommodating and welcoming and keeps the property very meticulous. We appreciate them welcoming our pet and kids as well as the time they took while checking us in. Will definitely stay again when visiting Madison.

We had a great visit. The location was central to try out many different cities and activities. The Fish camp walking trail was a great way to start the day. Our hosts were willing to share many recommendations to enhance the stay. We were very happy to stay at this location and would come again. The hosts were very accommodating and willing to go out of their way to realize our thoughts and plans.

Both hosts were super welcoming and helped us find the property. They gave us a walkthrough so we knew where everything was. The cottage was super cute and perfect for us! It had everything we needed and was the perfect place to stay! I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Madison.

Can’t say enough positive things about the host Jordyn! She was so sweet and went above and beyond to make our stay great. The house was clean, quiet and we loved being able to take our pup! My number one concern is always cleanliness of a rental and it was one of the cleanest rentals we have stayed in. It is a tiny house but it worked for our family of 4 and our 25 pound pup for the week. We had an event in Madison for the week and it was only about 20 minutes away. I highly recommend Jordyn as a host!

Perfect Home Base for UW Move-InWe had a wonderful stay while moving our daughter into UW. The cottage was exceptionally clean, quiet, comfortable, and exactly as described. It was the perfect home base and staging area during a very busy and special week, with a convenient location for everything we needed to do in Madison.The cottage had everything we needed, including solid Wi-Fi, excellent TVs that were even nicer than the photos suggested, and more than adequate air conditioning. Having a washer and dryer was an especially welcome bonus. We arrived home with a suitcase full of clean clothes!We also enjoyed the scenic walk along Lake Kegonsa to Springers. It took about 35 minutes each way and was well worth it for a bite to eat and a drink. Jordyn was a fantastic host: warm, attentive, and easy to communicate with throughout our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would happily stay again!

Perfect house for a family with early risers. Our kids didn’t bother anyone when they woke and we were within 20 minutes of everything we wanted to do while in town. The host was great at providing kid friendly recommendations.

Clean house in quiet area

The house was clean and comfortable with basic cooking supplies for a quick meal. The area was quiet with a picnic area and trail nearby.

Quiet Relaxing Getaway

Jordyn’s home was clean, comfortable, and had everything needed to feel at home. The property was very clean, had extra amenities, and was nearby to several stores and restaurants. I would stay again if in the area. Jordyn was an excellent host.

Cozy little place to stay

We enjoyed the cottage a lot! The host was fantastic! The only thing that bothered us a bit was all the air conditioners and dehumidifier. The place smelled a bit musty.

Thanks for staying in my home, Holly! We love our small little cottage. Just to clarify for other guests we do not have an actual dehumidifier. The home has a window AC in the main living area and a large portable in the bedroom. An air-conditioning unit is a dehumidifier on a humid day. The device that the guest was speaking of is an air purifier to keep things healthy :) We have these in all of our homes :) The cottage has two window AC units in it that can be ran on low. The home will stay moderately cool without the air conditioners on normal days. When the guest stayed it was in the 90s. The guest had the inside temp at 80 on a humid day and had 4 coolers in the home and was not operating the AC units which may have caused the "musty" smell. If the AC isn't ran on a hot day anything can happen. Thanks again!

The listing does not do this property justice! The cottage is as cute as can be- it’s comfortable, clean, and safe. The lake and area around it is beautiful. The check-in process was smooth and easy. We didn’t have any issues during our stay but did have the chance to chat with the host and the process was smooth. I would definitely recommend staying at this cottage!

Great little cottage. Very clean (dog friendly place but I would have never known and I’m allergic!). Very quiet. Easy drive to and from Madison. Owners very friendly and threw in an extra perk that my husband appreciated. Thanks again!

Great Stay

This stay was wonderful. We came for the Crossfit Games and it was perfect. A little further out if Maddison than we would've liked, but the price was great and we knew the distance before we booked. No issues calling Ubers out there which was great. House was clean and cool (was worried about that because it was so hot and humid) but we had no issues with that. Jordyn was lovely. Would totally stay again!

Cozy home

We loved our brief stay at Jordyn’s cozy home. It had everything that we expected and a bit more. It was the perfect space for our family of 4. Jordyn’s commitment to communication prior to and during our stay was very helpful and appreciated. I would recommend this home and look forward to considering it again if we come back to this area.

UWM college visit

This property is in a suburb of Madison on a lake only about 15 from UWM campus. It is an easy commute and was nice to have a place to come to and relax after our very busy days of checking out Madison and campus. Jordyn is an excellent host who communicates very well and is very hospitable! The home was clean and so welcoming!!! We had a lovely stay! Thank you! If you don't want to stay in a hotel I would definitely recommend!

Quick weekend stay

Needed a place to stay for a quick weekend trip to attend our god daughters University of Madison's graduation. Jordyn was quick to communicate and so sweet to have handwritten notes welcoming us. There were snacks that were an ultimate hit with my son and the all sorts of coffee at the ready that thrilled my husband and I. Place was clean, stocked with extra towels and blankets, pillows. Though not needed, appreciated for the option. Accessible to the highway, the drive into downtown was easy! Recommend as 5 stars!

Responsive Host

Overall we enjoyed our stay. The owner was very responsive to questions and let us check in early. Other than it rained for 24 hours the second day we were there (owner can't control that) our only disappointment was not being able to watch the Packer opening game day there. The place has Roku and a couple other TV subscriptions but no local stations so we had to go elsewhere to watch the game.

Ironman base camp

We were in the area for Ironman Wisconsin. Jordyn’s place was perfect for the four of us. It was 20 minutes from the race transition area. It was nice and quiet and all the people we met there were super friendly. Jordyn went above and beyond our whole stay. Her place was clean, comfortable and just what we were looking for. There was a full fridge with a freezer, stove, oven, microwave, coffee maker, and toaster. There were board games for rainy days. The beds were comfortable with lots of pillows. We had a lovely note and basket waiting for us when we arrived. The patio in front of the cottage was a great place to sit out and read or use the fire table. I would highly recommend a stay here.

Perfect spot

Such a cute spot! We were in town for a football game in Madison, it was only a 25 min commute to and from the city. The cottage was clean and perfect for what we needed. We arrived in the dark and went into the wrong driveway, the people from the camp ground were very nice and pointed us in the right direction. Jordyn was quick to respond and very nice. The wine bar next door is so cute, a local spot where everyone knows everyone but they were beyond friendly! Wish we would have had more time to enjoy the lake.
