Very large upstairs living room, adjacent bathroom, large dining room, and open kitchen!

Each bedroom has a TV and Amazon Firestick (bring your own streaming service, and please log out when you depart). Kodi media player installed as well, just load the application and you can AirPlay music in almost every room.

Fastest internet plan on the island (make sure your rental has internet if you need it for you or your kids), large screen HDTV (75" Samsung) in living room and kitchen. Hardwood floors throughout.

Very rare for Avalon - AC and gas heating upstairs, plus AC in master bedroom.

Large kitchen with stove, oven, and microwave.

Semi-open atrium & vintage player piano (ask about access to the scrolls).

Great location

Our group did the Avalon Benefit Ultra. Awesome location to race start and also right across the street from Vons. Place was able to fit everyone comfortably.

Location is everything!

This house is across the street from Vons. And 3 minutes from the beach. Would stay again! Location was fantastic.

Location made up for very poor maintenance

Overall, we made lemonade from the lemons. The location, nest AC, and basics of having a clean place to sleep and a working TV were nice. Unfortunately, there were numerous problems with the property not the least of which was a broken fridge/freezer, a downstairs window AC unit that made it hard to sleep, poor circulation in downstairs bedrooms, broken fans in 3rd bedroom, broken tv in 2nd bedroom, broken sink drain in 1st bedroom. Additionally, the manager didn’t tell us about the fridge being broken until the day we arrived and left a dirty cooler to use instead. We made due by putting ice in the fridge to keep a few things cold and eating out which was not cost effective. There were other minor issues as well such as roaring motorcycles all night in parking lot behind living room, wet laundry left in dryer and broken pull out couch. Overall, location was great but for the money we spent, would have much preferred a better managed place.

Solid Avalon spot

We loved our stay here. Checking in was a challenge but the owner was very responsive and it appeared VRBO didn’t send all the instructions. The place itself was awesome. So convenient to Avalon and the grocery store. The place is exactly what we were after. Would stay again!

Great location. Great place.

We really enjoyed our stay at Lance's place. Perfectly located with groceries right across the street. Lots of comfy sleeping areas and easy walk to everything in Avalon. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

Great Stay in Avalon

This home is perfect for anyone visiting Avalon for either a quick getaway or a longer stay. The location is 5 minutes from the waterfront and having the Von's directly across the street is super convenient. The home was clean, well-organized, and very comfortable for our group of 7 people. Avalon is a fantastic spot and we will be back.

Vacation

The house was in the perfect place, close to the beach and business district. We had small children and adults together in the house which caused a bit of noise issues from walking around upstairs and the sleeping downstairs. Overall it was wonderful

We overpacked as everything we needed was already there. 😊 We loved the grocery store being just across the street, and it’s just a short walk to the beach.

Cute place , convenient location.

We enjoyed our stay, the location served our family well. We did struggle with the electronic door lock but particularly appreciated the player piano.

Very relaxing stay in a convenient location to downtown Avalon

This property was excellent, spacious, and just the relaxation we needed. Close enough to the city that the kids could go into town when they wanted. Kitchen was well stocked and we cooked most of our meals since Vons is so convenient. The property owner was responsive and very helpful. Overall a lovely place to stay.

Great Location, difficult check-in process

We loved the location, close to everything with a well equipped kitchen and comfortable family room. Upon arrival, the entrance code could not be activated which was problematic as we couldn't leave our bags as we were told we could. It would have been helpful to have written instructions in the unit with the wifi, and other basic information, which was not provided. The house was very cold during evenings/nights, with no apparent heating (only air con) -- ideal for summer but not fall/winter.

Catalina weekend

The location is extremely convenient to all Catalina attractions. Plenty of room for 7 and the A/C was good to have. We had some issues with the keypad door lock but everything else was as described. We enjoyed our stay.

Great location - walking distance to everything. The house had ample space to sleep 8 and a large living room and kitchen. Lance also was very responsive and a pleasure to deal with.

Things you might want to know.

I don’t often do reviews but I really felt like there’s some things that I would wanna know before I stayed in this house again. I traveled with my husband, my 72 year old mother and my 16-year-old daughter. At first sight this house is cute and exactly across the street from Vons supermarket. That did make it convenient to get groceries however there was no wagon or a way to transport the items from the grocery store other than carry it. We stayed for 5 days so we had a lot of groceries to get over however what I did find out is that you can push the shopping cart over from bonds without it locking the wheels and should be able to unload on your porch. This house when we booked it said it had a golf cart which was one of the main reasons we decided to go with this one and not stay in a hotel however we were notified about a month and a half after we upped it that it was down for maintenance and ideally it would be hopefully repaired when we got there which it wasn’t. This made it very difficult to get my mother around because in order for her to walk down to the main street it’s a solid 3 to 4 blocks Away so we had to rent a wheelchair every day to be able to move her around.

Sumner all summer long please

Perfect large upstairs kitchen, dining & living room area for the whole family to gather for meals & games. It's located right across the street from the grocery store which makes bringing all the groceries needed for a large group or last minute items very easy. Lance was very good at communicating with us & the home had everything that we need. We will definitely be back.

Awesome Catalina Home

We came for a group family celebration and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Lance was extremely accommodating and helpful. The house is extremely well stocked and spacious. birthday weekend getaway

There were 8 adults. It was very comfortable. My wife and I slept on one of the upstairs hide-a-bed couches for four nights. It was surprisingly comfortable. I would describe it as very firm; like a futon mattress. This was our third trip to Avalon. The location of this home is hard to beat.

Lifelong boater and visitor to the Island. It's always been a dream to own a little piece of "heaven" so close to the mainland. Having traveled to world, there's something amazing about Avalon, Two Harbors and the whole "vibe". I still love the Caribbean and the rest of the world, but Avalon is a wonderful home away from home. Working on my semi-retirement, and a home port to call my own somewhere in the Atlantic.
