Perfect location

Out family had a great stay at the unit. Doug was very communicative and accommodating. The neighborhood is very quiet and just a couple of minutes to some gear food and beaches. Highly recommended.

Great stay very close to the beach

This was an awesome location for walking to restaurants and to the beach! Very communicative host and no issues with the property. Even have a pack n play in the unit.

Perfect place!!!

This place is amazing!! Everything worked great, it’s very clean and very close to the beach!! Doug was great when we had a question!! I highly recommend this place. As an FYI, plan on bringing your own chairs or rent from down the street, as others always had the chairs. Plenty of boogie boards and toys though!!

A Lovely Nine Day Stay

Doug is an excellent host. My mother and kids had a great stay. The check-in and check-out process was simple, including finding the unit. My kids and I enjoyed being close to the beach, and we would do our nightly trek to watch the sunset. We'd love to stay again if we head back to San Diego.

Family Vacation

The rental was everything that they said it was: clean, within walking distance to restaurants, the beach or bay. The owners were helpful. Parking was a little difficult, but only because we had a big truck. We still fit though. We would stay again.

Close to the beach

This apartment was super close to the beach. Parking was a bit difficult but it always is in Mission Beach. Has all the things you need for a short stay. The area is very loud so I wouldn’t stay here if you are looking for quiet. I would stay if you are looking to maximize your beach time!

Great location!!

The place was very clean upon arrival. It was roomy and had a ton of storage for us to unpack and not live out of our bags. Kitchen had everything we needed to make dinners. The location to the beach was perfect - just a minute walk!! We were worried about parking but we were able to find a spot upon arrival and the one time we drove somewhere. Communication with Doug was awesome!! We will stay here again for sure!

Enjoyable stay, good location

Lots of "extras" made this a convenient stay in a good location. Doug provided a lot of good info. We followed that, especially concerning the parking, and had no issues.

Mission Beach Getaway

We had a great time staying at Doug’s place! Myself and a few friends all met up for a weekend in Mission Beach and we were not disappointed. The place was nice, clean and up to date. The neighbors were friendly and we were less than a minute walk from the beach! It was a great area to stay in, we had a great time at the local bars and cafes, Moe’s is a must visit if you stay here! We were provided with everything we needed to have a fun and comfortable stay. I will definitely be back with my family and friends in the future!

San Diego short Vacation

The apartment was very clean but basic. Towels and bedding all good but maybe more glasses and plates etc. Water and Ice Maker was excellent. Location is excellent for the beach and local facilities, supermarkets, bars etc. Exterior of the property has little curb appeal. Check-In scheduled for 4 pm strictly can lead to hanging around with cases etc. You can hear neighbours around you so can be a little noisy but more through conversation than having large parties etc. In summary we had an excellent stay in an apartment that did what it promised.

Amazing little getaway!

This was the perfect spot for my wife, mother and daughter. We enjoyed the easy walk to the beach, restaurants and stores. Very tidy and comfy right when you walk in the door. The owner was very easy to reach and was helpful with everything we needed. We will stay here again in the future. Thanks Doug!

Great Place! Great location!

Loved the property. We had two teenagers and an 11 year old along with my wife and I. Property was 50 or less steps to the beach and boardwalk. Property was clean. Doug was great to message back and forth. There was an outside shower to wash the sand off before going in the property. Great location with lots of walking options along the boardwalk. Fantastic stay. Will want to stay here again.

Wonderful Thanksgiving vacation!

Doug was very helpful making the rental process very smooth and also suggested many local favorites. The unit is very clean and well stocked. It is a lovely family friendly beach steps from the place.

This is luxury top floor fully remodeled 2 bedroom apartment just 167 feet from the boardwalk and the beach in San Diego’s premier beach destination, Mission Beach. The apartment is on the top floor of a three story building. The floors are hardwood. The appliances, furniture, electronics, linens and artwork are all brand new.
This is a 14 unit, three story apartment building. It features a gated yard for relaxation and sitting in the sun complete with a shared BBQ.
Take advantage of our kitchen for meals, or venture out and sample some awesome San Diego restaurants during your stay here! Start the morning off right with some coffee in the kitchen, or pick up coffee at one of the numerous neighborhood coffee stands and walk two blocks to the beach for a stroll as you watch the surf.
We are 167 Feet from San Diego's most iconic beach. Have a hamburger or get a scoop of ice cream. Talk a walk or learn to surf, maybe rent a bike. It’s all right there at your doorstep. Groceries, Restaurants and Microbreweries are all around. Of course, you will have access to our communal BBQ grill, and it's always a good time to cook out.
After lunch, head back home and take a nap on a cozy couch or one of the high end beds.
If you like shopping, you are virtually 10-20 minutes from any destination in the greater San Diego Metro area. I would suggest starting with the cool little shops a couple blocks away.
For Touristy stuff... well, the beach is two blocks away. Step out on the sidewalk and look west. It's that blue thing where the land ends. SeaWorld is a five minute drive. The World Famous San Diego Zoo is a ten minute drive away. Disneyland is a ninety minute drive.

I could go on and on about the location, but the bottom line is that, if you want the quintessential San Diego Beach experience, nothing beats Mission Beach. We have been the center of San Diego's beach tourism since the early 1900s. We feature San Diego's longest and widest beach with a boardwalk that runs for miles with a roller coaster at one end and restaurants and shopping at the other. This rental is only 167 steps to the boardwalk and beach.
