Welcome to the only home in this part of town with a private pool! This beautiful vacation rental in downtown Ocean City is also within walking distance of the beach and boardwalk. Head down to the beach for a day of sun and surf, or take a walk or bike ride along Ocean City's classic promenade - home to hundreds of shops, restaurants, amusement rides, activities, and events throughout the year. Best of all, you can forget about the stress of battling and paying for a parking spot!

There is so much to love about this home, which consists of a single-family home, and a two-bedroom detached carriage house overlooking the pool deck. Guests will be charmed by the classic Ocean City decor and spacious living areas - the perfect setting for family reunions or multiple families who are vacationing together. The home and carriage house each have updated kitchens with modern appliances, breakfast bars, and lots of counter space. If you prefer your meals alfresco, utilize the gas grill on the backyard deck, where you'll also find an outdoor dining table.

The main house features a large living area and an adjoining den for guests to hang out in, which is just steps from a lovely front porch overlooking Philadelphia Ave. - great for watching classic cars go by during OC car shows. Additional amenities include complimentary WiFi, four TVs, a DVD player, central air-conditioning, and a private washer/dryer.

THINGS TO KNOWThe fireplace is not operational. The gas grill is only available to use in peak season, which is from Memorial Day through Labor Day. The pool is open June 15 through Labor day.
Ocean City has adopted a noise control ordinance that makes it unlawful to cause or permit noise levels that exceed those established by the Department of the Environment of the State of Maryland (COMAR 26.02.03.02) or are in violation of Chapter 30, Article V of the Town Code. It shall be a violation of this agreement and grounds for eviction under Maryland law if these noise levels are exceeded as a result of activity on this property. Ocean City has other noise ordinances, which are criminal offenses if violated.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 3 vehicles.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Family Weekend

We are OC locals and did a staycation for my husband’s 52nd birthday. The property was spacious. The two houses in one location was great foe privacy.

The location of this property is excellent, 2 blocks from the boardwalk! The pool was nice, someone came every morning to check the chemicals and clean it. If you are a light sleeper, earplugs are highly recommended. The property is on a main drag with lots of loud cars and motorcycles, some of which were also playing loud music. The showers are all on the 2nd floor, so if someone has mobility issues, they are not very accessible. There were also not enough place settings for our large group (13), so we bought coffee cups and paper plates. All in all it was a very nice place and we enjoyed our stay!

Great House set up

House is the perfect set up. Enough room for everybody. Pool was big enough for us all. Living room was huge with 4 couches. And beds were very comfortable. Location was perfect. Close enough and far enough

The house was large and accommodating. The distance to the beach was wonderful. However we had a leaky kitchen sink for 2 days before it was fixed. We found an ant issue and a mice dropping issue.

Perfect

The house and the entire property was perfect for our vacation. The main house was clean and well kept. Stocked with all we needed in the kitchen. The carriage house was perfect to have to give everyone room to enjoy the vacation. The pool may have been the best part though. Everything was perfect. The only downside was the location during the week of senior week - many high schoolers partying till all hours of the night but didn't take away from the trip. So amazing. Only thing we would change is picking a different week in the summer.

Regrettably, my recent stay did not meet expectations. Upon arrival, housekeeping deficiencies were noted, including unaddressed refuse behind a nightstand and beneath a bed in one of the rooms. The pool area required cleaning due to accumulated debris, which we addressed ourselves. It was evident that a pre-arrival inspection of the properties was not conducted. Furthermore, only one television had functional cable service, the provided Wi-Fi credentials were incorrect, and the pillows in both residences were notably flat. Despite reporting the cable and Wi-Fi issues and receiving assurances of technical support, no technician was dispatched. These issues detracted from the overall experience of my birthday vacation. On a positive note, the daily pool maintenance was commendable, and the properties are ideally located. While the homes possess significant potential, improvements in upkeep are warranted.

Ants everywhere. In the bedroom, in the kitchen, in the other house. Windows are held by duct tape. Sink was leaking and broken. Dishes were dirty in dishwasher upon arrival. Grill was unusable-Layers of old meat and grease. WiFi didn’t work our entire stay. Vacasa local staff was unresponsive and inattentive the entire time. Someone dropped off ant traps and told us we had to place them around the house. They also price gouged the price because there was a large concert going on that weekend.

The Urine House

Pool was great,location was good. There was a noticeable smell of urine as soon as you entered the house. There were urine stains on all the couches and on a mattress pad on king size bed. There was a blood stained pillow. Ants were in the cabinets of both buildings. We had to throw out a lot of food on Sunday and everything had to be kept on counter in storage bags. Stanley steamer was sent over on Tuesday to clean sofas.. They were dry on Thursday Smell was still noticeable. Purchased air fresheners and Glade.. A bag of used Depends was found in closet. Much time, effort and money was wasted on this trip

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY AND RUIN YOUR VACATION!

THE PROPERTY WAS FILTHY, THE 3 PULL OUT COUCHES WERE BROKEN, SO SOME OF OUR PARTY HAD TO SLEEP ON THE FLOOR. 9 YEAR OLD GRANDSON FOUND A DRUG PIPE IN ONE OF THE COUCHES! BROKEN CUPBOARD DOORS, BROKEN DOORS, WE OPENED A DOOR AND THE KNOB CAME OFF IN OUR HANDS! FIRE ALARM WENT OFF AT 4 AM AND WE COULDN'T TURN IT OFF! WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY AND IT RUINED OUR WEEK. SOME OF OUR PARTY LEFT AFTER 2 DAYS, THE REMAINDER OF US LEFT A DAY EARLY. DISASTER. BUYER BEWARE!!!!! THEY INSULTED US BY OFFERING A 400.00 REFUND. NEVER. AGAIN.

Cruise week 2024

Great location to watch the cars for cruise week. If you want a “quiet” location, especially for sleeping, I would not recommend since you’re right along the road and on a corner street. We were there for the cars so we didn’t mind it. The house is a great space for large groups. Could use some deep cleaning. It was tidy but definitely could use a good cleaning. The dishwasher wasn’t draining during the wash cycle so we just hand washed our dishes. Having a front load washer in the house could probably use some prompting for guests to let the lid open to air out because both the washer and dryer smell musty. So really no point in using them since that’s what your clothes smell like after using them both. But realistically is great to have especially at the beach. Even though it was too cold out to use the pool it’s a great space to have as well as the front and back porch. Definitely a good amount of towels and washcloths provided which was great! We enjoyed the house.

Code did not work/Works came to do work on the house

Upon check in, the code to unlock the doors did not work. While the staff on the phone was helpful, it took an hour to fix the problem, which in my opinion was not really fixed. We had to use a key, which was in a lock box hidden on the property. While the key did unlock the doors, it was the only key for the house. The problem with this is that there were 17 of us staying in the house, so locking the doors was not really an option, as we were coming and going at different times, so if I locked the doors with the key and someone were to come back to the house they would not be able to get in because I would have the key. I am not sure why someone did not come out to set a new code that worked, but I was told that the key would be sufficient. While this was not the end of the world, and we managed to work around this issue, it would have been nice to be able to use a working code to lock and unlock the doors. There was also a problem with one of the bedroom doors and workers came to the house several times to try to fix it. There was no communication about this happening, and honestly, when I am on vacation, I do not want to worry about having workers in the house I am staying in. I was not comfortable leaving all of my belongings in the house and enjoying the beach while strangers were there working. This was a bit unsettling, and again, there was NO communication made about this happening...workers just showed up.

Get the passcodes for Both House

It’s close to Beach. Economical. 1) Please make sure you get the Passcode for Both Houses, we got the passcode for the detached house @ 11pm after so many phone calls. 2) House allowed 20 people and only 3 passes for your cars. If you have 20 people, please give them 4/5 Car passes. 3) Kitchen cabinets above the counter is very dangerous, I got hurt more than five times in four days. I took the pictures of it. One time was very Bad, it’s hit my Forehead and lot of blood came out too. 4) Floors need to clean more. 5) Do not have enough towels, Tissues soap. We had our own. 6) Do not have enough Blankets. We had our own. 7) No Games in House, Bring your own for kids. After all we had a Great time with our kids and family. Thank you so very much.

Not enough bed linen & Too many ants

I loved the location of the property. It also had plenty of space. However some of the beds did not have linens even though I paid for them. There was also way too many ants inside of the property. We could not use the cabinets or counters because the ants were everywhere. This caused us to have to throw away a lot of food because we had nowhere to store non refrigerated items.

Great family house!

We loved this property and definitely would come back again!! Loved being able to walk to everything so close!! The house is lovely and we’ll stocked! The back porch and the pool were the highlight of the week. The only complaint we had would be for the pool to be heated!

Nice location, lots of room.

This home was located at the heart of all the action. Downfall of that is that it is very noisy, to the point that traffic noise will wake you up. Pro is no driving needed. It was plenty big. Pool was nice. Porches where nice. Furniture needs updated. Sofa in carriage house was broken, to the point we could not use it. Had to take mattress out of the couch and set it on floor for that child to sleep, the ones in the living room are a wore out. THE SLEEPING DEN AS LISTED IS NOT A SLEEPING DEN. NO WHERE TO SLEEP. SOFA BED WAS REPLACED WITH 2 LOVE SEATS. We intended to use this as a sleeping den for kids, had to remove mattress from one of the sofa beds in living room and laid on floor of sleeper den for them to have a room to sleep and would not be awaken by what was going on in living room. Not enough of sitting room. Bath rooms are out dated, and accessories are falling off walls. Glass shower doors are off track and creating a safety hazard. Kitchen corner cabinet door is ready to fall off. The circle steps in the carriage house is not secure properly to wall and could be a safety issue. The land scape around the house was very well maintained and nice. All in all the house was pretty nice and big, we had a great time. I would like to add that the communication between Vacasa and us was poor. Hard to get a hold of and no one seemed to have the right answers. Was told I had to pay for linens when it was originally included by original co that I rented from. That took months to straighten out and finally I think got a refund after them insisting for me to pay for it. I would not recommend Vacasa.

The place was fantastic. Great location, Pool was a bonus!

We had an amazing long weekend. The house was clean and had linens, towels, utensils, ice cold air conditioning, great location for viewing the cars cruising by. We did car show weekend and chose this house because of all the above. They had the pool opened and it was such an awesome way to cool off!

Lack of communication/instruction

Instructions were giving as if we were staying a hotel. Instructions said to dispose of trash. We had 9 bags of trash to try and dispose. Didnt no where. Property manager didnt even no. Not one email said to return the key back to office. Glad I have common sense. I hated that we couldnt use the pool. It was very nice and hot. We paid for it we shouldve been able to use it. Last is the check out that's 9 am. That is way too early fot a party of 19 to get the house cleaned and packed. Other than that propery was really nice.
