The property was clean and well appointed. The house was really nice and comfortable. It had many conveniences and amenities you need when away from home. The community was pleasant. Both the kids and grandkids loved it. Communicating with the host and rental agency was easy and helpful.

Excellent interior- exterior needs attention

The house offered everything a family would need and it was all new. If the exterior of the home, pool area and landscaping was as nice as the inside I would have given it a higher rating.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family and I had a wonderful vacation at Bethany Beach. The house we rented in Bethany Lakes on May Drive was beautiful, clean and equipped with everything we needed. The location was perfect for our family. Easy access to the playground, pool and pickleball courts and only a short drive to the beach. My only recommendation would be to install gates on the deck leading to the pool. I highly recommend Wilgus Realty as well. They were great communicating with us, and we liked having a “real “ person to talk to instead of doing everything online.

The house was very spacious and fit our family well. We loved the layout and had plenty of room to spread out.Before arriving, we read a June review mentioning missing pool tiles, and unfortunately they were still missing. Tiles were missing from both the pool and the hot tub, and there were loose tiles on the bottom of the hot tub that my son stepped on. When we arrived, the pool also had sand in it and looked dirty. We contacted management, and they responded that the pool is cleaned every Monday, which we appreciated. However, the backyard and pool area could definitely use some maintenance and attention.The house itself was generally clean. The dresser drawers needed to be vacuumed, but that was an easy fix and not a major concern.The upstairs bathroom jet tub did not work, which was disappointing since we were looking forward to using it. It appeared to have been out of service for quite some time.On our second day, we had a plumbing issue when water backed up into the main-floor shower. We had to carry buckets of water outside until it stopped. A plumber came the following day and resolved the issue.The front gate was also covered with spiders, especially at night, although it was cleaned near the end of our stay. We also reported a few additional maintenance issues to the rental agency.Despite these concerns, we truly enjoyed our stay. The spacious home, community pool, pickleball courts, and the ability to bike ride and walk throughout the neighborhood.

This is by far the most beautiful house I’ve vacationed at. The home is exactly as the listing shows. It was clean, comfortable, and perfect for the family.

This guest had concerns about some tiles in the pool around the top edge falling off. Those concerns were passed on to the owner to address.
