Thank you, Tim, for taking the time to share your review. We are delighted that you and your family enjoyed our oceanfront location and found the home comfortable for your stay. We also appreciate your feedback and would like to provide some additional information for future guests. We provide each registered guest with a complete towel set, including a bath towel, hand towel, washcloth, makeup towel, and beach towel. We also provide complimentary shampoo, conditioner, body wash, laundry detergent, fabric softener, and a starter supply of paper products and other household essentials to help guests settle in comfortably. Additional supplies are the responsibility of the guest during their stay. As is common practice among vacation rental homes, we do not provide opened food items or condiments, such as salt, pepper, spices, or cooking oils, for health and sanitary reasons. Regarding the beach access, because our home is located directly on the Atlantic Ocean, the deck and stairs are exposed year-round to salt air, sun, wind, and the coastal environment. As with most beachfront wooden walkways and decks, this naturally creates a weathered appearance over time. This should not be mistaken for a lack of maintenance. The deck and stairs are routinely inspected, maintained, and repaired as needed to ensure they remain safe, secure, and enjoyable for our guests. Thank you again for choosing Castillo de Aquarena. Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are pleased to hear you enjoyed the cleanliness of the home and its beautiful beachfront location. We would like to clarify a few points for future guests. Our home provides ample laundry detergent and fabric softener, as well as shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, hand soap, dish soap, and dishwasher detergent. As clearly stated in our listing, we also provide a starter supply of toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags to help guests get settled upon arrival. Regarding the bathrooms, our listing includes photographs and descriptions of every bedroom, every bathroom, and all of the home’s common living areas so guests can clearly see the layout before booking. The primary suite features a Jacuzzi soaking tub, which is clearly identified in both the photos and description. When the concern regarding a fourth bathroom was brought to our attention, we immediately contacted VRBO. They advised us they did not see an incorrect listing but would review and correct it if an error existed. Our home has been listed for over five years with consistently excellent reviews, and this was the first time any guest has expressed confusion regarding the number of bathrooms. We would also like to clarify that this reservation was booked at an already discounted rate. During their stay, the guests requested an additional discount, which we were unable to provide because they had already received a reduced rate at the time of booking. We simply provide this information as additional context for future guests reading this review. With respect to kitchen spices, seasonings, and cooking oils, we intentionally do not provide opened food items for health, safety, and sanitation reasons. Because these products cannot be monitored between guest stays, we cannot verify their freshness, expiration dates, or whether they have been contaminated. For this reason, many professionally managed vacation homes choose not to stock these items, and guests planning to cook are encouraged to bring or purchase the specific ingredients they prefer. Our property offers much more than the interior of the home. Guests enjoy a covered, screened oceanfront deck with outdoor dining and comfortable seating, as well as a separate beachfront sun deck overlooking the ocean with lounge chairs and an additional dining table and chairs. We also provide one complete set of bath towels and one set of beach towels for each registered guest, along with dedicated makeup towels. Our listing is intentionally detailed so guests know exactly what is included before booking. We encourage future guests to review the listing description, amenities, photographs, and house rules, as they accurately reflect everything our home has to offer. We appreciate the opportunity to clarify these points and remain committed to providing every guest with an excellent experience.
