We were pleasantly surprised that the property was even better than the photos showed. From the moment we drove down the tree lined driveway to the house sitting right on the coast we fell in love with the place. The owners were very helpful and accommodating and the location absolutely cannot be beat.

Amazing Coastal Maine Vacation
What a wonderful family vacation. The house and property are exactly as described and even prettier in person. Jill was so helpful and gracious. The fridge was stocked with beverages and some delicious coffee cakes which were much appreciated after a long couple days of travel. Our family had a fantastic time enjoying the views, climbing the rocks, and visiting the surrounding area for hikes, great meals and lasting memories.

Peaceful and beautiful.
We have stayed in places all over the world and the hosts for this place were the best. The house was stocked with anything you could possibly need and the hosts left a wonderful welcoming gift. It was extremely clean and the views from the back deck are like something you see on a postcard. We saw harbor seals, bald eagles, and various other animals from the deck.If you want to enjoy the beauty of Maine, this is the place.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property! The home is spacious, beautifully decorated, and ideal for a family setting. We had 8 members of our family there for week and we never felt confined in any way. The view, the grounds and setting are beautiful. Jill and Jed are the consummate hosts. Beautiful house with amazing views! Chose this property for my 40th birthday trip. The property owners are super responsive and very helpful. They go above and beyond to make the stay enjoyable. They stocked the fridge with drinks and left a couple birthday gifts around the house for me. I can’t say enough positive things. Lots of stuff to do and plenty of delicious restaurants to choose from in the area. So glad we chose this one, hopefully we’ll be able to get back in the future!

Awesome getaway
Wonderful, quiet getaway on the water.
This is an amazing house with all you want in a quiet retreat. Plus the owners were very generous in setting us up for a great stay. We were vary pleased and enjoyed our stay.

Relaxing stay
We enjoyed our stay at this property very much. Our children loved climbing the rocks and exploring the local beach. We loved looking out at the water after exploring the local area. Thank you!!

Everything about this stay was amazing. The cleanliness, the communication, the small details, and the view. There were fresh flowers in the property when we arrived. The hosts really care and want you to have a great time.

With what Mother Nature provides in the great state of Maine along with the hospitality of the host of this gorgeous coastal home, you will surely enjoy a great vacation. We were welcomed with delicious coffee cake, New England coffee, refreshing beverages and fresh fruit and flowers. The linen closet was stocked with hotel quality towels along with plenty of dish towels in the kitchen. The game room was one of the family favorites after a day of enjoying the out of doors. Waking up every morning to spectacular views of the water and wildlife is something that we will always remember and truly miss.

The house and grounds are even better than the pictures show. The house had plenty of room for our party of 8. We have stayed at many VRBO's and these hosts have the kindest and most accomodating we have had so far. Thanks!

Property was as advertised. Nice and Peacefull neighborhood and a spectactular view of the Harbor. Jill our host was a ROCK STAR. We very much appreciated her leaving the lights on for us and the special anniversary treats. The house was spotless and was fully stocked with needed items. All of the room furnishings were very comfortable and nice.We especially loved the birds, the rabbits and our nightly Deer visitor.We cant wait to return.

Perfect Getaway
We absolutely loved staying here during our Maine vacation! After a busy day in Bar Harbor or Acadia, it was the perfect retreat to re-energize and plan for the next day. We hope to come back soon!

Great location, beautiful home
This VRBO experience was great. The house is well equipped and contained everything we needed. Lots of linens and towels and very comfortable beds. Our group of 9 never felt crowded, with so many different places to be, both indoors and outside. Highly recommended!

Welcoming House and Hostess
Jill was fantastic in preparing us for our visit and supporting us as I asked many questions about the property and the area. The home is comfortable and versatile. We cooked, we grilled, we enjoyed time together in and out of the house. A great vacation home.

Perfect for families
The house was perfect for our family of 9. Lots of space to enjoy. For a family who plays lots of games, the game room was a real hit! Coffee on the rocks at the shoreline in the mornings and drinks on the deck at night were the perfect start and end to the day.

A Very Special Place
We so enjoyed our stay at this property - from early morning walks among the fresh smell of pine to watching the tides come and go in the bay - what a special place! Close enough to Acadia to make everything we wanted to see accessible, but far enough off the beaten path to be able to relax and unwind at the end of a busy day. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home - many special memories were made on this three-generation trip.
