Beautiful waterfront 2080sqft home on Caddo lake / Cypress Bayou. Floating Dock perfect for swimming, fishing and sunbathing. 2 stall Boathouse (1 stall available to guests) 2 Bedroom / 2 Bathroom + LOFT and bunkroom sleeps 10 in beds. Large fenced yard with beautiful cypress trees and Spanish moss overlooking the river. Plenty of seating on the fenced upper deck as well as in the yard. Fire pit ( bring your own wood or wood can be provided at an additional fee) gas grill ( propane provided if you run out you can purchase more at the local dollar store ) as well as charcoal grill. The great room in this beautiful fully furnished home boasts 16 ft ceilings and large windows over looking the river and cypress forest. The master suite offers a king bed along with dresser, night stands, desk, Tv, and huge walk in cedar closet. The master bathroom offers stall shower and huge jacuzzi tub Bedroom #2 offers queen bed, dresser and TV. Overlooking the open floorplan great room and fully stocked kitchen is a loft with a queen bed and 2 twin beds. In the bunk room you will find a twin daybed with twin trundle. The large mud room is equipped with washer and dryer as well as lots of cabinets for storage, Hardwood floors and tile throughout the home, The home has everything you need for a fun, relaxing get away (including kayaks!!) just bring your personal items, fishing gear, boat and of course food. The properties water suppy comes from a well the water is safe to drink cook with and shower with but can at times be discolored or have an odor we recommend bringing water bottles.. The island has its own boat launch for residents and guests. 20.4 miles to historic Jefferson Tx. 7.8 miles to Caddo Lake State Park. 5.5 miles to Big Pines Lodge restaurant. 45.8 miles to Shreveport/ Bossier river boats

Honey’s Place exceeded expectations! Plenty of room for family activities, well stocked kitchen, deluxe coffee bar, all the comforts of home, relaxing outdoor area with a beautiful view!!! Added perks - Spacious storage and laundry room with ample parking.

The property was great! Only complaint I have is the lack of parking if you have a multiple trailers but other arrangements can be made locally! Nice and peaceful with close access to everything on the water like Bradley’s canal, government ditch, and other local attractions

Beautiful place on the water.

Beautiful property nestled in the giant cypress trees on the Big Cypress Bayou. We brought our fishing boat and had a great time. The property was equipped with everything you could need. We had a great time.

Perfect getaway!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our visit. It was one of the most well appointed properties I have ever stayed in. My family will be talking about this vacation for years to come. We rested and relaxed and enjoyed games, puzzles, my mom and MIL painted pictures of the beautiful scenery. Sandy was so quick to respond. Just the absolute best!!

Great getaway

This was probably the best experience we have had with any rental property. Cabin was stocked with everything we needed and so many things we didn’t even realize we needed. Location was perfect and cabin was extremely clean. Host was readily available for questions and checked in with us daily to see if we needed anything. Highly recommend!

A little slice of heaven.

Our stay at Honey’s place was wonderful! The house had everything and then some. It was so well stocked with extras if you forgot anything at home you were covered. The views were beautiful and relaxing. We had such a great time and can’t wait to come back!

Details, Location, relaxation! Wonderful trip to Honey’s place. Was a great time, and the host were absolutely amazing! Great community and hospitality. Even had a boat lift for my bass boat which I NEVER get with a rental. We will definitely return.

The Perfect Place to celebrate our family’s Christmas

This place is absolutely beautiful! It went way beyond any expectations we had with a VRBO rental. It was super clean and the beds and linens were very comfortable so we we slept very comfortably. We were wondering if we should take cookware because we planned on cooking most of the meals during our stay. Our questions about the place were answered quickly by the owners. We were assured that the cabin was stocked with anything that we would need and it absolutely was! I wish my own kitchen was so well set up! It was decorated with perfect Christmas deco that was very kid friendly my 4 grandchildren were absolutely amazed at the huge Christmas tree in the living area. They also enjoyed the games available for them in the game room. The outside area was neatly fenced off so our two year old grandson couldn’t get to the water. Which was a big plus. The kids had a blast fishing off the pier and the guys really enjoyed having a place to dock the boat. All and all it was a wonderful stay and we definitely plan to go back!

This cabin was perfect!! This is by far my favorite cabin on Caddo Lake. Everything was so clean and the beds were very comfortable. We will definitely be staying again next year!!

Honey's Place was where we want to bee!

Home was immaculate with the most comfy beds, and thoughtful decor. Beautiful windows, wrap around porch on the water. We loved that they built around a tree instead of cutting it down. We listened to a woodpecker on the back patio while enjoying our morning coffee and watching the boats go by on the river. The home was fully stocked. We cooked big meals for 12 people easily. Towels, blankets, pots, pans, were abundant and readily available. There were lots of items there for our use in case we forgot toiletries, too. We had grandparents, parents and small children, 1.5 and 2 years, and a 2 month old. It was spacious, and even or littles were well accommodated. The safety measures (gates) that were built in were so appreciated. You can feel the love in this home. We definitely are making plans and will be back!

Blessed birthday

My family and I surprised my mom with a little get together at Honey’s place. This was the perfect sized house for all of us and enjoy being together. We had plenty of spots for all 10 of us to sleep and the beds were the most comfortable beds I’ve slept in in a long time. There were plenty of towels and the kitchen was well stocked with plenty of pots and pans to cook big breakfasts and enjoy cake and ice cream. We brought our kayaks and fishing gear. While we didn’t catch any fish, we did get to catch some great memories paddling the bayou and fishing off the dock. The only challenge was there are 2 bathrooms and one is in the master bedroom. So, most of us ended up sharing the other bathroom, but we made it work and it wasn’t a big issues. My wife and I loved getting up early for the sunrise over the bayou and cypress forest. Having a cup of coffee on the dock was the prefect beginning of the day and the perfect spot to read a little scripture in the morning. If you have a boat, bring it. We didn’t, but wished we had. I would love to have explored more of the lake from the water. Thanks for the blessed birthday celebration and we look forward to coming back.

Honey’s Place

Beautiful, roomy, clean home. Sandy thought of EVERYTHING! Plenty of cookware, games, TVs. Very comfortable beds, large dining table, plenty of towels, washer&dryer, and 2,refrigerators. Our family had a wonderful stay and we’d highly recommend this home to our family and friends.

Wonderful property - highly recommend

The house was super clean, updated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Especially appreciated the outside living spaces for morning coffee and evening cocktails! Access to the kayaks was a nice bonus and enjoyed exploring on the water. First time to Caddo Lake - what an amazing place!

Uncertain on Caddo Lake

The only problem we had was with the keyless entry but once we got it it was easy. The house was emaculate and well stocked with anything we needed. The lawn was beautiful with a great deck overlooking the bayou. it was fenced so if you have children you didnt have to worry about them falling in the water.It appeared to be in a neighborhood with half permanent residences and half vacation homes. rooms and beds were well furnished and comfortable. There were nine of us and we did not feel overcrowded. Had lots of fun and met new friends in Uncertain. We all will recommend this property to friends.

Just AMAZING

Sandy is a great super great host! On top of everything, the communication was flawless at any time. Provided suggestions, instructions, everything!! The house is beautiful inside, is has everything you need… super well equipped. The view to the lake is awesome… I went with my husband and 4 friends and spent a great time there. I would definitely come back and recommend it if you are thinking of going to Caddo Lake! Thanks Sandy for everything!!

A gem in the Caddo Lake area

I've visited Caddo Lake a handful of times over the last decade, but never quite stayed at a place as well thought out as this! We are fans. Honey's Place has a lovely open concept living/kitchen/dining area that is bright and well furnished. It is a wonderful space to hang out with family or friends, play board games (they have some, we brought some), or just enjoy a quiet evening. The roomy patio looks out to the waterway. The property fronts Big Cypress Bayou and there are kayaks available to paddle out in (or a boat slip if you bring your boat- this is a wider, boat-worthy arm of the lake and leads out to the larger water body). The kitchen was completely stocked with spices, pans, dishes, two coffee machines (single serve K cup, and pot), and even some fun Torani syrups. The hosts had literally thought of everything, including beverage coozies and bags of snacks! We just brought our groceries and were able to cook with ease. The bathrooms had tons of extra clean towels, and extra toiletries and feminine hygiene products. Every part of this house has been thoughtfully stocked. Honey's Place has a large yard and the teens spent hours playing corn holes. Hosts were very responsive to my questions during the stay, and also up-front about what to bring (lots of water, because the well water tastes different). I will add bug spray to this list because you will share the lovely patio with our friendly Texas-sized mosquitos. I highly recommend Honey's Place for your Karnack vacay!
