Welcome to Porcupine Cabin! This clean and cozy log cabin is nestled among mature hardwoods and evergreens on 1.5 acres in Baileys Harbor, a short distance into downtown. The first floor has an open concept living room with a gas fireplace, kitchen, dining room, and full bath. Upstairs are 2 large bedrooms and a full bath. Sit and relax on the large screened-in porch, covered front porch, or by the outdoor fire pit and enjoy privacy and nature all around you. Located within minutes of Sister Bay, Fish Creek, Ephraim, and Egg Harbor, this is your ideal vacation home to explore all that Door County has to offer!

Our third visit to Porcupine Cabin

We keep coming back because it’s the most relaxing setting! From the cozy fireplace in the living room to the well appointed kitchen, screwed in porch and outdoor fire pit. We couldn’t ask for more! Will definitely be coming back!

We loved the Door Country Porcupine Cabin!

Truly guest-focused hosts made us feel welcome and made our vacation easy and stress-free. Super clean, nicely decorated, and well-stocked cabin. Location in a beautiful wooded area yet conveniently close to downtown Baileys Harbor. We'll be back! :)

Couples Getaway

We traveled with another couple to spend a long weekend in Door County to reconnect and have fun. This was the PERFECT location and we loved everything about the cabin. This will always be a special memory - my fiancé and I got engaged during our stay at the Porcupine Cabin.

Wonderful Wooded Retreat

Very happy with our stay at this clean, cozy house. We especially loved the big screened porch at the back of the house. Fantastic communication with the owner. We look forward to coming back soon. Highly recommend.

Beautiful Getaway

My sisters and I had our first-ever “girls’ trip”, and this cabin was the absolute perfect place for it! We all just needed some peace and quiet, and this cabin delivered. I think our favorite spot in the whole property was the screened-in porch out back, drinking tea, listening to birds, reading books. Magical. At one point some deer walked by. This is a minor detail, but we also really appreciated that the cabin came ready for coziness with three throw blankets. It just felt like a detail that we would not have thought to bring, but it really elevated the cozy factor for those back porch evenings. We enjoyed how easy it was to get to coffee shops and shopping, while feeling perfectly remote at the same time. I can’t imagine a better situation. Thank you for a lovely, restful weekend!

Exceeds Expectations

We spent our Thanksgiving weekend at Porcupine cabin. It was wonderful. The cabin was cozy, had a great fireplace and the cabin is in a wooded area yet close to everything. The cabin had everything you needed from cooking utensils to books and games, extra blankets, etc. Definitely 5 Stars.

Beautiful house

House was even prettier than the pictures. Kitchen had everything we needed. Beds were comfy. Screened in porch was ideal for relaxing and reading. Loved the peace and quiet of the location. Will be coming back!!!

Great Place to Stay and Enjoy Door County

We stayed at Porcupine Cabin for 4 nights and enjoyed everything about this cabin in the woods. This was our first time using Vrbo and didn’t know what to expect. We over packed because this place had everything like a regular home would and we didn’t need everything we brought with. I struggle with finding the code to open the door in the different emails that were sent through Vrbo but once that was resolved all was good. The weather was excellent and the evening we spent around the fire. We would stay here again, but we’re the type that likes to stay at different places when we visit Door County. Last year was Sturgeon Bay and this was Baileys Harbor at the Porcupine Cabin.

Porcupine Cabin Rocks!

This is an absolutely lovely home in a great location. The interior is masterfully appointed, and it has a wonderful screened in porch for lounging bug free. I will stay here again on the next trip to Door County for sure!

Northern Oasis

My wife and I enjoyed a great 4 day weekend stay in early October at this wonderful cabin. It is very clean, well decorated, conveniently located, and private. We enjoyed a well stocked kitchen, and the very roomy upstairs bedrooms. We would love to come back again sometime and stay for a couple of weeks. The Door County area was beautiful this time of year and we loved venturing out during the day and coming back in the evenings to enjoy the wonderful cabin with fireplace. We found everything to be in excellent shape and really enjoyed our time staying at this cabin.

Lovely!

Beautiful clean cabin surrounded by nature with all the comforts of home and close to Bailey's Harbor. The screened in porch is the perfect peaceful setting to put together a puzzle and catch the occasional deer passing by!

Mid Week Get Away

Quaint and cozy. Perfect location to all State Parks in Door County. The locals were very welcoming and gave us great ideas for our current stay and our next trip back.

Amazingly beautiful cabin in the woods and yet close to town

We had evacuated from New Orleans for a hurricane and first off the hosts were amazing in assisting us. Then we got to the cabin and were blown away by its beauty, the setting in the woods and how new and well working everything was. My daughter and husband love to cook and the kitchen was well stocked with all the needed tools. The back porch was wonderful for an evening meal and also sitting out and reading. The fire pit gave us warmth and pleasure. I can't remember I place I stayed that was half as nice as this cabin. If you are thinking about renting it.....absolutely don't look another second and reserve it. It was a little piece of heaven. Although we felt that we were in the midst of the woods, we walked the half mile to Baileys Harbor for a cappuccino in the morning and some after a hike beer.

Door County Retreat

We love Door County. This quiet cabin close to Bailey's Harbor was the perfect jumping pointing for all of our fun activities. Our family of six was a little tight when it came to evening relaxing but we made it work. The cabin is well appointed, decorated beautifully, and very clean. This is an amazing rental find!
