Welcome to Casa del Mar, an oceanfront property with stunning rooftop views. Casa del Mar is a collection of luxury condominiums located on the white sand shores of Playa del Carmen. Casa del Mar offers its guests a large kitchen with appliances and everything they need for their total comfort. BBQ is now available for our guests! We have a dining table for 6 where you can enjoy a wonderful meal after a long day at the beach, living room with a large flat screen TV with upgraded cable package. The couch also turns into a queen futon for added sleeping space! . The terrace is a great place to enjoy an early morning coffee while listening to the sounds of the ocean.

It has 2 full bedrooms. The master suite has a king bed, large closets, and a wonderful bathroom. Master bedroom has another TV and upgraded cable package.

The second bedroom also has a King bed, large closets, and an attached bathroom that can also be accessed from the main hallway, it also has a television with upgraded cable package. In both bathrooms you will find 7-in-1 Shower Systems.

While you stay in this amazing condo, we can arrange for you to receive a relaxing massage in the unit! (at an extra cost)

The private roof terrace is the space that will surprise you the most, with a private Jacuzzi featuring a newly installed water heater and views overlooking the turquoise waters of the Caribbean. This is the best place to spend lazy afternoons basking in the sun, getting some vitamin D, and relaxing in the perfect temperature

On the roof there is a covered space with a king bed and roll-up privacy curtains. This space can be used as a shaded daybed, perfect for taking a nap or enjoying a good book.

The Casa del Mar building has one of the most beautiful rooftops of common areas around. With direct access from your private roof terrace, you can enjoy the rooftop pool, double wooden loungers and sun loungers. There are also bathrooms and an outdoor shower on the roof. The wonderful ocean view from this common pool area is pretty amazing too!

White sand is 50 steps from your front door. There, you will find a beach club where you can enjoy a lounge chair and sunshade (for a small deposit)! There is full service there that includes drinks, food and music. If you prefer to settle in your own quiet place, there is plenty of room on this quiet stretch of beach. Be sure to take a walk along the beach to Mamitas as there is always plenty to do there and it is a great place to mingle with other beach goers. You won't find panoramic views of the Caribbean at this price anywhere in Playa del Carmen, so don't miss out on this great opportunity to rent your own slice of paradise.

So solid! Close to a great beach.

Can’t say enough. Was just really good! Top level patio was the cake topper; so nice for coffee and nightcaps.

Better than a resort

This is a great property. The location to restaurants, beach, and 7-11 for quick eats and drinks is as close as crossing a street. The a/c was awesome and the view from the pool is great. I highly recommend this location. Mario was amazing to work with and their staff is super friendly.

next to the beach

clean property steps from the beach and easy walk to many restaurants. Very responsive owner. As mentioned on the other website there is a hotel club and beach clubs nextdoor so expect music into the evening. On saturday the rooftop at the hotel was going past midnight. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Playa Del Carmen townhouse by main beach and 5th ave

This was a fun place to stay. We enjoyed the roof top pool, hammock, closeness to beach and 5th ave. We didn't like the "hot tub" on roof actually is a warm tub because it has to be filled with water from the units water heater and takes three cycles which is not hot when complete, more warm. It was also very loud until 2am from the bars across the street passing music. The light from the bar sign across the street is bright and ruins the night view a little bit. Location was great. Communication was great.

While the location was excellent and exactly as stated in the VRBO description, the stay ended up being extremely disappointing for the following reasons:1. The upper deck jacuzzi was not usable. It would have taken us hours to get hot water to a level that covered the jets. The hot water heater wasn't big enough to run the water for longer than a few minutes before it was cold and had to be shut off to allow the water to heat again and restart the process. 2. The hammock had not been properly maintained as we discovered the hard way. Once on within minutes we hit the hard tiled, cement floor, causing lower back pain for weeks after our vacation ended. After the fall, we shared the situation with the management company, and they came and replaced the ropes about 2 days later (not when they said they were going to).3. The description stated "lively night life" which we found out was an understatement. Three nights the music from the roof top restaurant/nightclub was so loud it didn't matter where you were in the condo, you could still hear and FEEL the music. This music lasted until between 5:00 a.m.-6:00 a.m. Needless to say, we didn't get much sleep while there.4. We were disappointed in our attempts to try and come to a fair resolution to all of our issues with this stay.

Regarding the jacuzzi, we understand that the water temperature may not have reached your expectations. This was likely due to the unusually cold weather during your stay. We want to reassure you that the system is working well, as the owner confirmed a full supply of hot water just last week. We are sorry if the nearby music caused any disturbance. Typically, these events only happen occasionally throughout the year. For context, the owner stayed at the property last week and found the area to be very quiet. We’d like to clarify that the hammock is designed to rest less than 18 inches from the floor for safety. For the safety of our guests, we provide a sign next to the hammock indicating the maximum weight limit of 250 lbs (115 kgs). We truly valued your feedback and acted quickly to address your concerns. While we offered a compensation agreement to make things right, we respect your decision to decline it.
