We enjoyed the studio villa. Quiet area and on beautiful property.

We liked the privacy of the unit…set back on the property yet with easy walk along the path to the beach

25th Anniversary Vacation

Couldn't be happier with our stay at the property. The room was as nice as advertised and the size of the resort allowed for plenty of room on the beach. Were pleasantly surprised to find out that it was a short walk to the a coral reef for snorkeling.

Perfect Condo

It is in a quieter area of the resort and we enjoyed the location. It is still in easy walking distance to the pool and beach. It is very clean and we loved the balcony out front. My 16 and 18 year old kids were also pleased with the space.

Aloha and thank you for your kind review! We’re so glad to hear that you and your family enjoyed your stay and found the condo to be clean, comfortable, and perfectly located in a quieter part of the resort. It’s wonderful that the space worked well for your teens and that the balcony added to your experience—it's one of our favorite features too! Thank you for choosing Maui Condo and Home. We’d love to welcome you back for another relaxing Maui vacation! Mahalo, Maui Condo and Home

We loved the pools. The Castaway Cafe was amazing. Ricki, the bartender was friendly and made GREAT drinks. Stephen, the pool service guy was such a joy to see everyday. The live music on Sunday night was the best we heard while visiting Maui. Our housekeeping lady was very friendly and kept our room looking fantastic. We can’t wait to return.

This was a great unit. Updated nicely with nice furnishings. Two things to be aware of 1) The shower did not drain. We had to wait between showers just to let the water drain. The water rose at least 1.5 inches during each shower. I'm sure this would be an easy fix for the owner. 2) We could not figure out the air conditioning. We tried to adjust it but it seemed to have a mind of its own. It would be helpful if there were instructions. Or maybe the owners have it permanently programmed. That would be nice to know. One suggestion I have would be for the owners to make beach chairs available for folks who stay in this unit. The unit we stayed in prior to this one had beach chairs. That was a really nice perk since beach chair rentals are 15/day. Otherwise, I would say this was a very nice unit.

Aloha, Mahalo for the wonderful feedback and for bringing these items to our attention. We're thrilled you enjoyed the updated furnishings and overall space. We sincerely apologize for the shower drainage issue and the confusion with the air conditioning. We'll address these issues with our team. Your suggestion about beach chairs is fantastic and we'll definitely pass that along to the property. We hope to welcome you back soon. Mahalo, Maui Condo and Home

Did not stay

We can’t give a review for a place we did not stay in. We were moved to a different unit which was ok but had a very old feeling about the furnishings. The resort was ok but lacked hotel type amenities.

Rental unit is Exactly as shown. I’ve stayed at MKV 3 times, & it really is the luck of the draw as to what you get. This unit was clean & updated, but very few extras. No beach toys or chairs which many other units had. Our friends rented another unit & it was also clean slightly less updated but had lots of “extras” including a wagon which was great for hauling stuff to the beach.

The studio villa was clean, updated and had a nice view of the garden and pool. The size was good for being a studio. However, the kitchen was missing several basic items: a measuring cup, measuring spoons, a baking sheet, and no storage containers, or Saran or aluminum foil. We didn’t expect many spices, but there was not even salt and pepper! Also, the shower drain backed up after even a short shower. A little attention to details that would make a stay more inviting might be in order.

Beautiful modern unit.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Newly renewed unit. The mattress is very comfortable. Like view from the balcony. Provided cleaning and fresh towels every 2-3 days. We had 4 towels for 2 persons. So, it was enough. Aston Maui Kaanapali Villas provides the beach towels and morning tea/coffee and it has very private sandy beach.
