One of a kind location in quite residential neighborhood overlooking the ocean. One of the best views in the area. Spacious 1 bedroom ocean view suite with full kitchen and 1st floor separate entrance: no stairs to take! Around 75 ft-100 ft. above sea level in vintage, rustic Hideaway Ocean Suites Motel, away from the busy street, nestled in quite, residential neighborhood. It's not upscale brand new property, but clean and the view and location will sweep you away. Short walk to the beach (5-10 min) or very short drive on the same road: free parking and bathrooms at Canyon dr. ocean front park. Fly kite, watch wales, collect agats, stroll, bike, jog, walk, make a bonfire.

Happy to have the ice for cooler when power turned off.Apartment needs some updated cooking pans and kitchen supplies.Thankfully the host guided us to our place ...a little hard to find.Great access to shopping, eating etc.. Thanks.

Fantastic time, wish it could last longer. The only annoyance is we could hear everything the people upstairs did. Very thin ceiling/floor.But overall it is a fantastic location and cute layout.

Nice stay

View was nice but too much furniture for a small space...kitchen was okay on supplies, just not good quality. It was an enjoyable space though, thank you!

Beach Time

Thank you so much, this was an amazing unit. Can’t wait to come back! Local wildlife, doe and fawn supervised our check in and seagulls and 2 chicks on the roof next door provided hours of entertainment.

This is an excellent property. Having a kitchen allowed us the freedom of cooking, and takeout right on the hwy. Clean and quiet, well stocked. Comfy bed two couches and wifi! I know we will be back for many stays.😀

It’s ok

Overall this property was decent for the price. It could use some updating and definitely more attention paid to cleaning. However, the location was nice and the view was also wonderful. We did have issues with rodents getting in and into our food the last night we were there. The manager did not seem surprised by this and made it sound like it was a pretty regular occurrence. Maybe the upper rooms don’t have this issue. The manager was very responsive to communication though, which is greatly appreciated.

Great location. The place was clean but found dog kibble on the floor. Went to make coffee and the old grounds still in it. People up stairs walked heave all ninight.

Quite retreat

New owners are slowly trying to fix the units up. Nice people. Enjoyed the privacy away from traffic. Good location to everything in Lincoln City.

Great little cozy spot

We've stayed at the Hideaway before, but not in this unit. It's clean, cozy and quiet. Not luxurious and high-end, but homey. My only complaints are: 1. The gray sofa seriously needs to be replaced. It sinks on one end, where the view of the ocean is the best. The other sofa is comfy, though. 2. No can opener.

Would stay again if they bug bomb the place

The property itself was as advertised. Very close to the ocean, great views and close to everything in Lincoln City. However there was a major fly problem in the unit. Upon arriving I killed 15 flys in the first hour. Flys coming out of vents and from the walls. Management was helpful but wasn't really anything they could do. Over the course of our stay I killed over 35 flys and had to basically give up on getting them all. Was daily disgusting seeing this.

Nice location

Was not as expected. Did not receive instructions on how to check in and ended up in wrong room, had to move. Ended up downstairs in a fairly nice room. TV did not work and could not get password for wireless. Called on site manager number for help 4 time over several hours and got no response. All in all a fair stay, but disappointed.

Misrepresented, old and dirty

Photo does not match the view we had. Our unit was next to a boarded up house with gravel parking and NO BEACH ACCESS. As a downstairs unit, we had people making noise above us. We had: no shampoo, no soap in the shower, towels that were awful and bedding that was very old. There is black mold on the vents.

Inaccurate photos

Despite the poor directions to this lower level room, I found the property and was surprised to see very different furniture and layout than the photos in the listing showed. The nice “leather” couch in the photo had been removed and in its place were 2 sofas which filled the small room with furniture. There was No room for the dog kennel that I had brought with me - that had to go in the tiny bedroom after some furniture rearranging. The property itself is certainly showing its age - a hodgepodge of kitchen items was adequate, weak water pressure, heated by a space heater. The saving grace is the peek-a-boo ocean view and nice neighborhood.

Unfortunate

If I had to sum it up into one word I would say this experience was awful. To start off I was never given any check in or check out instructions to start. I had to email the place and was given a phone number to call when I was 15-30 mins out. Well, I did that and no one answered so I had to sit outside the property where several mins later I was greeted with someone carrying a vacuum. That would make you think they cleaned the place last minute but from my experience I would say not at all. The place was very dirty and grimy to the point that I had to clean the kitchen counters and dishes before I could use them. The floors throughout the place were incredibly dirty and the way the carpet in the bedroom felt on my feet was horrifying. The bathroom towels consisted of old worn out multi colored towels that were clearly not properly sanitized. The refrigerator door was stained with what looked like brown splatters. The baseboards were brown and rusty. The photos of the property make this place look like it’s a nice cottage right on the beach but in reality it is on a drop off cliff with a dangerous hike to the bottom if you opt not to drive to the beach area with very little parking. Next door is an old abandoned house and there is no place to sit outside. I honestly can’t complain enough about this place. I would never recommend it to anyone and in fact would deny I ever stayed there. The ONLY reason we stayed is because everywhere else was booked. Don’t waste your money on this place.

Quaint getaway in an awesome location

This place is sits on top of a beachside cliff, gorgeous views from the living room area. Less than 5 minutes to the beach. Accommodations were clean and comfortable, perfect for a quick getaway!

Nice and clean

Manager was very helpful and nice. This was a cozy, little place. Very clean. Not fancy and slightly questionable from the outside appearance. Inside it may be retro, but kept up quite nicely. As I stated above, it was very clean which was my concern from outside appearance. We had a nice stay. No problems at all. :)

Beautiful spot in lincoln city

The hideaway motel is so cool! Magnificent overlook of the ocean! Just a short 5min drive to the public beach. Loved it!
