Wander down Golf Course Lane and get outfitted at the Golf & Pro Shop, take morning hikes at the Pismo Preserve (10 minutes North), spend your days beachcombing at Avila Beach, Shell Beach, or Pismo Beach (15 minutes North), and grab dinner at the world famous Jocko's Steakhouse (down the road a few miles). You'll have the afternoon and evening to browse free Wifi, prepare meals on the gas grill, and watch the stars come out from the warmth of the hot tub.

We welcome groups and families where adults over the age 25 will be present. No pets allowed (we are dog and cat lovers but due to a severe allergy in the family we cannot accommodate any animals at this time).

Lovely location

The location was lovely, quiet, and safe. The property was wonderful for our family of 4 and had enough space for everyone to be comfortable. Housekeeping could do a better job and newer kitchen items would improve the experience. All in all a very nice property that our family enjoyed.

Relaxing

Having a small issue with the property Brian the owner was very prompt and courteous. The property was located on one of the golf course Fairways and was very relaxing.

We enjoyed our time. Beautiful view of the golf course. Dark nights and a quiet neighborhood make this a great getaway place. Close enough to everything and everywhere you want to go. Brian is great.

Wonderful listing

As soon as we walked in, we were greeted with fresh eggs! The listing was everything we expected and more. Brian is a great host and very accommodating and prompt in answering our questions. I highly recommend this listing for those wanting a place to stay in the central coast!

Graduation

There 5 adults staying for 4 nights for graduation from Cal Poly. Festivities were at sisters house in Arroyo Grande so this was really close. Stopped at Beso for light soup and salad and chimichanga. Food was good. Lobster. Issue was outstanding.

Very relaxing/tranquil Central Coast getaway condo

We were having a small reunion of 'old' college friends at a nearby friends' home and needed overflow accommodations. This condo was perfect for 5 of us, including one person sleeping on the comfy couch! Morning breakfasts on the patio watching the golfers go by was so relaxing...it was so quiet at night and the stars were bright in the sky,away from city lights. Nice easy drive to Pismo Beach or Arroyo Grande or any of the many wineries...very chill spot to stay... The property manager was very responsive to any outreach we made or questions we had...he was amazing! We highly recommend this property and will be back...

Pismo Area Gem

This is a perfect place to get away from the valley heat! The condo is super comfortable for our two adult couples and our 14 granddaughter and her friend. Lots of things to do close by without staying in the crowded beach area a few miles away. Very quiet, well kept neighborhood. Owner was very responsive on the couple questions that I had. Easy check-in and we were lucky to get in a little early. Condo was stocked very well and had everything that helped make our stay easy and comfortable. Pool and golf course are just a short walk. Another really nice course is just a couple miles away. Brian had lots of tips and suggestions on places to see and things to do.

Nice quiet location on a golf course

We were here for 3 nights. I paid about $2500. We probably should have used a motel. Family graduation from CalPoly and a busy weekend! We also rented a large house, some of us slept in this condo. Otherwise we weren’t there. The owner was good with initial communications. Arriving late parking was covered and had adjacent uncovered spaces access to unit went without a hitch. Outside entry could use brighter lights and cleaning. Inside, was clean except for the carpets. The cleaning crew overall didn’t do a great job preparing for us. In looking for supplies in closets and cupboards they could all use cleaning, organizing and restocking. I was surprised to find no bath soap or hairdryers. In the morning I noticed the windows window frames and tiny back patio were not clean. Essentially the place could use freshening up. In the owner’s defense he was out of town Father’s Day weekend, so didn’t inspect prior to our arrival. The place is homey and the location is good and right on a golf fairway! I WOULD stay here again. I really feel like this great condo would normally be a GREAT place to stay!

Holiday Get-together

We really enjoyed our stay in this very comfortable and well-appointed townhome. The views were gorgeous, the communication with the host was great, and the location lends itself to getting outdoors or finding great farm-to-table food or seeing wine country. Great place for a relaxing stay.

Family time

Our family enjoyed a quick getaway and stay. Our host left a bottle of cider in celebration of my sons birthday. I thought was a special treat. He was very accommodating and super helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Excellent stay

We love this place and Brian was a great host!

My family and I had a fabulous time staying at Brian’s place! Brian was super responsive, we had some issues with the tv and Brian immediately got on the call with us to address the issue. Since Brian lives closed by, he even dropped off some fresh eggs from his chickens! The place was quiet and super comfortable. My kids had a great in the pool! Overall, our family loved Brian’s place and hospitality. We absolutely would stay here again if we make another visit down there!

Great place and location in Nipomo

Plenty of space for a family of 5 with nice, welcoming ambience and natural light.The beds are comfortable. Great quiet location next to Black Lake Golf Resort not too far from Pismo Beach. Easy access to the freeway. The condo was very clean and a great view of the golf course. The kitchen had all the necessary amenities and we were able to use the grill on the back patio and enjoyed our outdoor lunch with amazing view. Brian is a great host and very easy to talk to. We were able to use the beach chairs and towels for our beach trips. Our teenage daughters went to the pool and hot tub every night. You can open the bedroom windows at night for a refreshing breeze. We enjoyed our stay we highly recommend this place.

Perfect Location

We had a wonderful time at Brian’s property. The home is well equipped and has comfy seating and beds. The mornings were spent on the patio with a coffee enjoying the golf course views and the occasional sound of a ball being driven down the fairway. It was a perfect base for us to visit the towns of the central coast and the nearby wineries.

Black Lake is beautiful and the condos are super quiet and a very convenient location.

The property was great and super convenient for my whole family during our stay. Black Lake is a beautiful golf course and would highly recommend.

Just what we needed!

We found ourselves in the area without a place to stay. Like a previous reviewer, we had had a bad experience with a different vacation rental company. A quick search led us to Birdy Beach Getaway - It was perfect! Very clean, quiet, comfortable beds, plenty of room, kitchen you can work in. We enjoyed ourselves immensely and wish only that we'd been able to stay longer, even though we stayed for nearly a week! Brian was very helpful and accommodating, and we can't wait to stay here again. Thanks, Brian!!

Everything You Need

This property was as advertised. We had two small issues upon checkin (none of them the owners fault) but when I called Brian he immediately dropped what he was doing to correct the two items - it was needed but he did it anyway. Very responsive and clearly cared about our stay. Everything about this property was excellent. On the course offering nice views, quiet and great breeze when windows were opened. I would recommend this to anyone visiting the area - well worth it.

If you are is Pismo beach area, this is the place you want to stay.

We booked our last minute trip through VRBO. Having some bad recent experiences with vacation rentals, I was in two minds to start with. But with 4 adults and 2 kids, we decided to take one more chance with vacation rental. And tell you what, with the pleasant experience, Brian and his property made us feel so good about our decision. The entire checking and check out experience was flawless. The property was clean and neat. The property is very well located near the beautiful golf course with beaches and restaurants within 20 mins drive. The highlight of our trip was my kid enjoying her first experience with swimming pool in community and now wants to learn swimming. We created some amazing memories at this place and will definitely come back again. Anyone looking for vacation rental in this area, just book this property and I am sure you will be very happy. P.S.: I don’t usually write reviews, but this trip experience compelled me to write one. Cheers to Brian and happy memories we created here.

Beutiful area with great golfing options

Had a really good time here. The owner made the experience wonderful. Anything you needed Brian was a phone call away. Left us a card welcoming us. Everything we needed was here for us, coffee maker ....ect. I highly recommend staying here.

We love the Blacklake Golf Resort! We purchased this condo as our future retirement home because we love the views and location. We currently live across the street and can often be found playing bocce ball, walking the trails, and swimming at the pool at Blacklake. Its a wonderful community and we love our neighbors. Come see for yourself why this is our own slice of paradise.
