Although we were there during a Nor’easter, it was still a fun, eclectic place. Enjoy the Treetop deck in good weather!

We really enjoyed our stay! Instructions were clearly laid out with how to get there as well as check in and out. It was all very smooth. The place was very cute and comfortable. Close to restaurants and grocery stores, which was nice. The neighborhood was very peaceful and quiet.The home does sit up on a hill,so after a day of walking, that felt like a lot. But other than that, it was great

This was such an amazing experience and the location was just what we needed to be able to go into the city but walk to shops or for food. The couple hosting was so nice and welcoming. We are already planning our trip back to use the same lodgings.

Good walking distance to red line, morning coffee and late night drinks. Balcony has lovely views. Beds/ pillows are standard. Nothing exceptional. Kitchenette is nice. Cabinets are a bit taller so if you're shorter then 5'2 you'll have a problem reaching some items. Same for shower head. No adjustments for us shortys. I would absolutely recommend staying here.

It wasn’t as close to the train station as I thought. It’s an older and very quirky, eclectic house (which I loved), my bedroom had a very squeaky floor which didn’t bother me but I was worried about waking others up. The balcony and view were amazing and the beds were comfortable. The place was very clean! It was a lot cleaner than the hotel we were in before! Jessica was so nice and very accommodating. Overall a really good experience. A rabbit even greeted us in the yard when we got there

The rooms were okay, the beds were good. However, it was essentially two bedrooms with a small fridge and a sink. Really no where to sit except outside or at the little table. We were asked to wear headphones while in our rooms if we used any electronic devices. We dont travel with headphones so the lady gave us some used ones.The decoration was a bit over the top. Fortunately we got there late the first night, were exhausted the second night from sightseeing and left early the next morning.My friend was pretty upset about the place.The lady was very nice but this was not at all what we were expecting.

What most guests do is to use the search filters, and consider web page, rules and pictures before booking, so that they choose to book what they actually want. Please give this a try next time. I also showed you how the Murphy bed swings up into the wall to give you an entire room to sit in during the day. The private balcony has a couch as well as two chairs and a table and a gorgeous view. All this was in the pictures and text. You paid $80 per night for each of your rooms plus you got a private bathroom and kitchenette and balcony. In a Boston hotel you would have paid $400 per night for a shared room and bathroom with no balcony, no kitchenette and no view.

The hosts were so kind and flexible even when our flight was delayed by hours. Very cool space exactly as described. Would absolutely recommend.

We absolutely loved our stay! The home was just as cute as could be and exactly as described in the listing. It was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed, including a kitchenette with a sink, refrigerator, coffee, and other thoughtful amenities.The location was fantastic—close to the subway, making it incredibly easy to get to the airport and all the famous sites around Boston. Catching an Uber was just as convenient. The host was wonderful, providing excellent communication before our trip, along with detailed directions and helpful tips for getting around.We felt very safe walking around the neighborhood, and there were plenty of restaurants and even a liquor store nearby. One of our favorite parts was the amazing deck. The views of the ocean and the Boston skyline were absolutely beautiful, especially in the morning and evening.We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Boston area!

My husband and I stayed in the Treetop guest suite as I ran Boston Marathon yesterday. When we arrived Friday Jessica met us showed us around the suite gave us so much information about Dorchester, public transport, good restaurants, grocery stores etc. She also gave me her cell if I needed anything to contact her! Just a fantastic host! The suite was lovely! Clean, Cozy and so relaxing also a quick walk to get to the Red line! I HIGHLY recommend to anyone visiting Boston! Fantastic quaint, quiet and amazing hosts! Thank you so much for having us!

This listing is a couple of rooms in a house. It is not a full house and does not offer much privacy— you walk in the front door of the house, shared with the hosts and other renters, and walk past their rooms upstairs to a set of glass French doors that have 2 rooms and a bathroom behind them. This was unexpected, since VRBOs headline on the website is “entire place, just for you”. The shared entry was noted in the description; however, I was not expecting other renters in addition to the hosts and for the “shared entry” to be literally walking into their home. Aside from that, the place was clean and the hosts were kind. Just be aware this is not your typical VRBO! Subway is a 15 minute walk, the last block or two is up a big hill. View from the balcony is nice.

Lovely porch, nice space, some parts of the set up were a little off kilter. For example the light sensor in the bathroom doesn't quite hit the shower. If you aren't expecting that you can be caught off guard and the lights can go out in the shower.

Much closer to downtown than expected. Very easy to catch an Uber. There were no fans so it got hot had to sleep with windows open. The shower curtain was covered in mold. Definitely a unique experience. Like staying at your weird Aunt Carole's house.

Overall a good stay but somehow we did not clue in that the small sitting area had no comfortable loveseat or chair. Just two dining table chairs and a stool. The deck was the reason we chose this property and did not disappoint. Bedroom and bed were comfortable. Location was convenient. The very bright motion detector light in the bathroom was harsh for middle of the night visits. A soft nightlight would be better.

The Treetop Suite (2 rooms, bath, deck) was perfect - comfortable bed (there is a Murphy bed in the kitchen/dining area should you need it); great shower w/view out over the trees; mini kitchen (for hot plate/ microwave/ toaster-oven baking). The deck is a lovely place to sit, if not too hot; but you’ll be cool inside w/air conditioning, if so. The suite has unique/funky charm - colorful and a bit worn (it’s an old house), though functional. Jessica & Dave are wonderful hosts (warm, helpful, yet respectful of privacy); they helped me with the heavy luggage I couldn’t manage. Though there were other guests on the premises, I hardly knew it because all was so quiet inside. Thanks; I’ll be back!

The space worked for our 1 over night - the back porch is lovely with a good view and privacy. I didn't realize how much this was in someone else's home, with multiple other rooms in which people could come and go. It was fine and clean and quiet.

The property owners were fantastic and helped us out with anything we needed. The space was perfect for our trip and was much more affordable compared to surrounding hotels. We loved our stay.
