All set on the ground floor, this light and bright condo provides an excellent family-friendly space to relax during your beach vacation. The waterfront location means you'll be close to the action! Inside the condo itself, guests can cool down in central air conditioning and set their travel clothes aside in the private washer/dryer. Cooking up a tasty meal is easy in the full kitchen painted in a tasteful shade of green. In addition to everything at this condo, guests can also enjoy access to a shared tennis court, fitness room, and outdoor shower during their stay.

Things to Know
We will not be accepting payments for pool heat for the months of May through October.
Beach towels, beach umbrella, two beach chairs and beach cart are available for guest use

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. No more dogs are allowed.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Great location - a new favorite spot!

My favorite part about this place was the location! We had a designated parking spot and a beach access directly across the street which saved lots of time that we would’ve otherwise spent looking (and paying) for parking. We walked to restaurants and shops, and the area was quiet and safe at all hours. A very enjoyable space to live in for the week!

Fun on Anna Maria Island!

This condo was beautiful, roomy and comfortable and well equipped. Spent some quality time over morning coffee on the patio just off the living room. Also right next to the pool!. Quick walk to the beach! Included beach toys and chairs and towels in storage room off the patio. Will definitely book again!

Sorry but we won’t be renting this unit again…

We have stay at RAB a few times in the past and love the location and pool and we’ve also been pleased with the conditions of the units we have rented. However this unit needs some attention. It seems like the owners got by with as little as possible. It needs some updating, deep cleaning and some tender loving care.

Runaway Bay # 167 January 2023

The condo was large enough to accommodate three additional family members overnight several times. The pool and beach were very close. Decorated in a cute beach theme and beds were amazingly comfortable. Plenty of linens. Kitchen fully stocked and tv in every room. Games and books were available. Unit was clean and spacious. My husband and I were very happy there for 2 weeks. Vacasa was very thorough with communication throughout the entire process.

Nice property but poorly maintained

Arrived on Saturday and found shower are in guest bathroom was under construction, someone has just put up a new drywall ceiling,the drain for the shower was taped shut , the shower floor was dirty with dirt and dust from the project and bag garbage bad of debris was in the shower, the shower ceiling drywall was unpainted and the entire shower and bathroom floor was dirty was dust. Looks like the person doing the repair used the toilet and never flushed it, I notified the local office and customer service for Vacasa but they did not send someone out to fix it until Tuesday afternoon, at that point I had already cleaned it as we were having a guest come who was going to be using the bathroom. Also notified customer service about slow bathroom drain in another bathroom but they never responded to me. I paid $6500 for two weeks for this condo and I did not feel I got my moneys worth, Icleaned the bathroom and we bought drain cleaner for the bathroom sink drain. I asked for a days rent refund for the inconvenience but have never heard anything back from Vacasa, would never rent from Vacasa. It’s a nice property but not maintained well and Vacasa has poor customer service

Run away don’t stay here

Unsanitary conditions in shower, including mold, a lock that works on its choosing, and ants all over kitchen/dining area. There really isn’t any fixing the ceiling. The unit above leaks into the shower. It all needs to be ripped out and replaced, and it is very obvious this is a known issue, since the brown and rotting plaster was there when we arrived, as well as the mold. The lock works occasionally. The ants are all over the kitchen counters and by the dining area wall. Sewage drips into the shower from upstairs. Very disappointed, disgusting, unsanitary. We own a plumbing company it’s obvious what is going on. It’s disturbing that this unit is being rented to people for large quantities of money with such unsanitary conditions. I will be seeking compensation and I actually want my family out of there. But we already gave Vacasa our money for the trip. I understand the lock can be fixed, but the worse part can’t be dealt with till we leave. Another question is why did it take almost 24hrs to get a response from a local Vacasa agent? And why weren't we informed about the issue prior to arrival? Purposely attempting to hide the unsanitary situation is beyond our belief. We have three kids here, and I assume you wouldn't want your children or yourself in this situation. We spent a lot of money and are not satisfied with the home and service we have been given or experienced. We have rental properties and this is absolutely ridiculous.

Honest review/ Nice location and condo from respectful but annoyed vacationees

The condo was clean and equipped with beach gear and chairs. We’ve stayed at Runaway bay in the past and we’re just in Holmes beach in April for spring break. We really enjoyed RAB in the past and the PAST vibes. It’s a nice condo and setup. Close to the beach. Great sunsets! Vacasa is easy to deal with. Friendly staff. Only down side at the condo are some residents and the older man AKA pool police. They’re there almost to make you feel uncomfortable. A little thunder and he told us all to get out of the pool. Just like a drill sergeant. When you’re on vacation, you are there just for that. Not to be constantly watched and STARED down!!! The pool should be opened later. He closes it down like an hour ( or more) before the sunsets. My fiancé is Hispanic and when we were showering to go in the pool a man and a woman stared us down so hard, we could’ve turned to stone. I’m sure these folks have kids and grandkids. Let’s hope no one makes them feel like they have to walk on eggshells. Minor issue with Vacasa/ condo is we recieved no parking passes. Luckily we were ok, but did read about cars being towed. Ice machine didn’t work. Again minor. Overlooked. Again we really couldn’t enjoy the pool like I’m the past. Gossiping right in front of your face! Then there’s this excercise time for 2 hours in the morning and at 12 pm they still have the foam weights in the pool lol. Would we book through vacasa again? Yes. Would I go back to RAB? Not in the near future and I wouldn’t recommend going with families. The beaches and sunsets are what makes it. There’s plenty of other great places Again it’s THE RESIDENTS aren’t friendly and made it unwelcoming. It was my birthday as well, so this ticked me off. This holds to be true. We stopped in Anna Maria Island on Pine st for donuts and everyone was so nice and chill

Perfect

Was a awesome place. We had the best time. Perfect location and walking to the beach just a second. I have walked further oceanfront out of a hotel. Had tons of beach gear for us to use. Wagon, umbrellas, boogie boards, chairs, and tons more. The place was cozy and perfect for us. Had tons of room for 3 of us but 6 would fit very nice also. Honestly, I can't say enough about it. We had one of the best trips and accommodations we could have asked for. From wildlife around the building, to the ocean. Very quiet place with everything needed. We will get this again!

Perfect Location

Condo was just as it appears in the photos. Loved the master suite with the large walk-in closet. Walking across the street to the beach was so convenient especially with the wagon to carry all our beach stuff. A lot of walkable cool restaurants, some with live music. The large pool was perfect to jump in after a day at the beach. A couple reasons for not giving this 5 stars. There were items left in odd spots by the former beach goers. The umbrella for the beach ended up being broker. When I emailed whom I thought would take care of it I was told someone had to come take photos of the broken umbrella. Never heard from this person so I texted another number I had asking why someone would be coming to take photos. We didn't break it, the previous beach goers must have. This is now half way into our vacation. The response was it was for the homeowners so they could see it was broken before replacing. I explained the umbrella would be at the front door since I had no clue when this person would be coming. Two days later a card showed up in the umbrella. Again, no response from anyone so we went and purchased one. It was a great perk and the homeowners are being gracious and helpful to us renters. This process with the end result of no replacement umbrella would have been fine if we were informed along the way and in the end we may not get a replacement while we were there. Again, it was a great location and we really enjoyed our stay.

New Adventure

Property was great. Location was awesome. Only complaint was the property seems to be mostly owners who do not enjoy families who rent. Felt like we were being watched at all times. Neighbor asked our 24 year old daughter if he could start the golf cart we rented on the island to make sure it was powered by gas. We were corrected at the pool that our chairs were “ too close to pool” and there was plenty of space. Just didn’t feel welcome. Will not return to complex even though unit was great.

Wonderful vacation

We spent two beautiful weeks in March 2022. Condo was very clean and comfortable. There was a water issue in our building, so we had no water for 8 hours. Not Vacasa’s fault, but they did their best to find out what the issue was. We would definitely stay here again. Very pricey unit, but steps from the pool.

Our stay was wonderful, the condo was perfect for our family. The location was great, it has a heated salt water pool and the ocean is right across the street from the condo! The condo had everything we needed for our stay. We will definitely be back.

Wonderful Last Minute Family Vacation

Let me start by saying, I'm a very picky and have high expectations for cleanliness! This unit was perfect! The owners thought of everything. I was extremely impressed with the abundant amount of storage. They have a huge storage closest with shelves everywhere. This helps keep the condo nice an clean during your stay. Kitchen cabinets are very nice and fully stocked with new clean and easy to wash plates, bowls, cups, silverware, pots, pans and cooking utensils! Brand new washer and dryer with cabinets above fully stocked. If you forgot something, check the closets and cabinets first, 167 probably has it! I could go on an on about the storage but lets move on! The place was bright, comfortable, modern and stylist but not a lot sitting around to make it look cluttered. The beds are very comfortable! The Master bedroom bed is WONDERFUL for a vacation rental! It's not on the beach! You will not hear the beach from your bedroom or back porch. I definitely missed that! With that said, 167 is right next to the pool! You walk straight through the pool area to a direct path to the GORGEOUS beach! The water is Aqua and the sand is as white as it gets. This was our first visit to Anna Maria Island but absolutely will not be our last! Oh lastly, the folks at Vacasa were extremely friendly and easy to work with! Their communication is top notch! The locals are welcoming and give you lots of great dining and entertainment suggestions! If you're looking for a memorable vacation with your family, without hesitation BOOK NOW!
