We understand that 9:00 AM can be a little earlier than most hotels and resort properties, but this extra time allows our staff to better prepare the home for the next group of guests. With the extra hour, we are better able to prepare the property so each stay is enjoyable!

We appreciate your feedback, Lisa. There was an error with our newly integrated software which caused the discrepancy with the check-in/checkout times. We have updated this to prevent further issues. In the future, please contact the host/management company if you are confused about anything with the listing. We are always happy to help answer any questions our guests have, but if we don’t know about an issue, we can’t address it or attempt to resolve it. As for the checkout requirements, we ask all guests to dispose of their trash, strip the used linen, lock the doors, and set the A/C to departure temp. These are simply courtesies to help prepare the home for our housekeeping staff who have a difficult job getting the home ready for the next group guests. We are glad your overall stay was pleasant though.

Melissa, We sincerely apologize for the inconveniences you experienced. There were over 40 homes affected by an issue with amenity bands the week you were staying. Unfortunately, when it was brought to our attention, the HOA office was closed and the person who programs them was not in. We as the management company are not permitted to retrieve temporary bands at any point. This is a rule within Watercolor and there are no ways around this. We did work to correct this and brought you new bands as soon as the HOA office re-issued them to us. We have passed your feedback along to the HOA as we believe this is a rather convoluted process which shouldn’t be such a hassle to deal with. Your refund of the amenity fees was processed and refunded to your card on file. As stated, it can take up to 7 business days to process so please be patient. As the management company in charge of the property, we personally choose to refund you even though Watercolor still charged us for your guest usage. Lastly, the Wi-Fi in Watercolor recently underwent some updates and service changes a few days before your arrival. When the issue was brought to our attention, we once again worked to remedy it same day by bringing over a new modem and installing it on a Sunday. This was done by us because Mediacom (The local network provider) would not respond for 36 hours. The internet was working properly at the time of install, but from the notes I read in our account file, the modem by the street was out. Other than these two technical issues, we hope you had a pleasant stay at the beach.
