Bernard was a perfect host. He met us when we got there and walked us through the apartment. He checked in twice throughout our 2 week stay to see if we needed anything. The property was very close to the main Metro and many stores and cafes. It was the perfect place to stay in Paris! Would highly recommend.

The apartment is in a wonderful location, has everything you need to make your stay comfortable and Bernie is lovely. We have very much enjoyed our stay, and would both stay again and recommend to others. People watching in a moment of calm from the window is also very enjoyable!

This was everything we wanted in our stay, and we loved this place. It was well appointed, the washing machine was an especial help, and the neighborhood couldn't be better. Bernie was very kind and communicative, and gave us an excellent introduction to the space, as well as making check-out incredibly simple.

This property was wonderful! Centrally located, 10 minute walk to the metro, excellent restaurants within walking distance. Bernard was very responsive and checked in with us to make sure everything was going well. Highly recommend.

I loved the location. It’s a block away from nice restaurants, bakeries, shops and stores. The dining room, living room and bedroom were very spacious and had plenty of storage. Two twin beds in the living room can be used as sofas or beds. The king sized bed in the bedroom was very comfortable. The owner was very responsive. I love the traditional style of the bedroom window facing the patio in the center and the living room and dining room windows facing a small street. It is on the second floor

Very good layout.The kitchen and bathroom are off the entry. No need to go through a sleeping area to get to either of them. Excellent location.

Bernard was a charming and welcoming host, with plenty of good suggestions for places to visit in the area. The flat itself is spacious and the location (on a quiet street but a block or two from an active thoroughfare with stores, restaurants, a metro station, and everything you could need) is excellent.

Location, location, location!!! The perfect neighborhood for strolling, shopping, eating & taking in the local culture. Away from the maddening crowds but within easy reach by boat or bus to all the must see attractions.

Wonderful location with easy access to the metro, as well as great cafes and restaurants. Bernie is a great host and very responsive. The only reason for a less than perfect score is the early morning street sweeping and garbage collection. If you are a light sleeper, and sleeping in the living room, be prepared for a 6AM wakeup.

My husband and I, from Miami, enjoyed a 10 night stay. I loved the apartment and the neighborhood, and would have loved to stay another month! It was so spacious (notably for Paris), high ceilings, and full of light, and had a great layout. Fully functioning kitchen which I used once daily, and I appreciated the compact washer/dryer combo (I had never prior used one of these so know that you can wash and dry, or solely wash, or solely dry). I loved that the apartment was one floor above the street and so enjoyed opening the windows during the evening when we returned from sightseeing as there was such joyful and friendly neighborhood chatter. The Le Marais neighborhood is fabulous, and the metro and bus were both within a 5-10 min walk (so the location is 10/10) as were many places to dine, or to pick up to go a falafel, crepe, NY style deli sandwich, or pastry. There were 2 groceries, a few produce markets, clothing and jewelry shops, a lovely neighborhood garden, Notre Dame, Place du Vogues, and more all within a 10 min walk, or less. Check out street-view GoogleEarth. I enjoyed, and was safe, walking around Le Marais alone in the evening just to enjoy the lovely ambiance. Typical of most Paris apts, there is no a/c but this was not needed during our late Sept stay/there was a fan that I used at night on a few occasions. It was quiet during sleeping hours, and if I was to sleep early (by 10 pm), I would slip on my Bose headset so never knew if I would have had an issu

Lovely apartment in ideal location

The apartment is spacious and in the perfect location w shops and restaurants a half block away. The host, Bernie, is attentive and very welcoming. Would come back in a flash and highly recommended.

The property had the charm of seventeenth century Paris. Location was amazing. Half mile walk to Notre Dame. Walking distance to plenty of wonderful shops and dining options. It was the perfect place to stay for my first trip to Paris.

Where to begin…this apartment is out of a movie set. Exactly what I dreamed an apartment in Paris would be. The beds, including the futons, were very comfortable with mattress toppers. Bernard was a great host. His hospitality and support to enjoy the city were much appreciated. I would rent this apartment in the future.

The apartment feels very homey and is in a great area for food and shopping. Specifically, Au Bourguignon du Marais for some divine bourguignon and the Jimmy Fairly store for a sick pair of Parisian sunglasses. Plus, the closest metro station is a five-minute walk for easy access to the rest of the city. Bernie was extremely flexible with our check-in/check-out process, and he even left an extra fan outside our door to make sure we were keeping cool! Overall, a nice home away from home for your visit to the City of Lights!

Perfection

This was an absolutely perfect place to stay for our trip to Paris. Located among shops, cafes, restaurants, and public transit. We could walk to the Seine, Notre Dame, the Louvre, and more. Our host was attentive and checked in with us multiple times before and during our stay. The apartment is large and well appointed with anything you might need. We would definitely stay here again if we make it back to Paris.

Bernie met us personally and allowed us in early which is always a big plus. The apartment is quite stylish and very comfortable. Really Bernie’s photos don’t do it justice. But best of all for us was the location. Rue des Rosiers and Rue Vieille du Temple are steps away as it is in the heart of the Marais. We’d book it again in a heartbeat.

I wish I had more than 5 stars to give this property! It is a classic, charming Parisian apartment right in the middle of the Marais. Shops, cafes, and restaurants are just outside the door and it's a five minute walk to the Metro. Inside is everything you need to cook a gourmet meal with ingredients from the grocers just down the street (cheesemonger, fishmonger, bakeries galore, butcher...). The apartment is beautifully decorated, the beds are very comfortable, and the bathroom is large for Paris. And Bernard is a gracious and lovely host who is very knowledgeable about the area. We hope to return again!

This was a great apartment in a very nice neighborhood. The courtyard coming in gives it a special secluded feeling. It was conveniently on the first floor. The location was close to numerous stores, cafes, restaurants, metro, and bus stop. It was an easy walk to many sites we wanted to see. Bernard was a fantastic host. Communication was great along the way and he met us at the apartment when we arrived to show us where everything was which we really appreciated. The apartment was clean and well stocked. It was very bright and a nice place to just relax in between activities. If ( hopefully when) we come back to Paris we would love to stay here again.
