Come to the Alabama Gulf Coast and enjoy the white sandy beaches while staying in Windward Pointe 104. Located in the heart of Orange Beach near shopping, dining, and amusement parks, Windward Pointe condominium offers amenities such as an indoor heated pool, sauna, hot tub, tennis courts, and exercise room as well as a beachside pool with gazebo.

This beautifully appointed three-bedroom, two-bath condo is positioned on the east end of the complex, allowing for breathtaking sunrise views of the gulf. The large balcony is accessible from both the main bedroom and the living room. This condo features a full-sized washer and dryer, a fully-equipped island kitchen, and plenty of counter space. Hitting the beach or pool is a breeze from this ground floor condo as they are both just steps away and easily accessible through the gated rear patio.

Parking notes: There is parking available for a fee and charges will apply for 2 vehicles.
This rental is located on floor 1.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Perfect!!

Amazing view!! Great access to pool and beach no steps Clean and comfortable If you are planning on any cooking bring aluminum foil and throw away aluminum pans. Very few cooking supplies but managed Enjoy!!

Love it!

It’s the perfect location! Bottom floor is sooo nice!! Close to Gulf Shores but also has several great restaurants close! Dollar store is right down the road and so is Walmart. Room was clean and comfortable. One light was flickering and maintenance fixed it in a timely manner. This was our third time staying in this room and we enjoy it! Ready for next year!

Not clean

I have stayed at other condos at this property. This unit was the worst I have stayed at. It was not clean. The patio had old food around the table. The patio door was hard to lock. There was a broken mirror in the bedroom closet, which could be dangerous for young kids. I will not rent this condo again and do not recommend it.

Nice unit but needs a few upgrades

I have never encountered a room harder to get into. The keyless entry had the most complicated code and it was next to impossible to hold your phone with the code, turn the dead bolt and the knob at the same time. The sliding door was SO heavy and worn out you could barely get it to close if you got it open..real incovent when it’s a bottom unit and you are coming and going the most through that door to the pool and beach. The air would also cut off if doors aren’t closed well, and like stated before, it was hard to get them close the sliding door completely. The back door also did not lock!

Windward Pointe unit 104 Orange Beach Review

The condo was very nice and clean. Very convenient to be on ground floor and step out the door to the pool. Showers and beds were nice and comfortable. Only issues we had was the back sliding glass door would not lock. They sent a maintenance man to try to repair it but could not. He said he would send a door/lock guy but no one ever came. It was uncomfortable with kids sleeping in the living room on the fold-out couch bed. Only other complaints was that the dishwasher was leaking on last 2 days. We called when leaving and they were sending a maintenance person to check it out. The WIFI reception was bad. Could never get the living room TV to connect and work. Otherwise, I would have rated 5 stars.

Great Location But Filthy Floors

The Good: I loved the location. It was great being the ground floor and just walk out to the pools. The property was right on the beach with a short boardwalk. It was close to several restaurants and attractions. The Bad: The floors were so dirty! It couldn't have been mopped in months. Are feet were immediately black from walking on it. We moved a bath mat and there was a pile of dirt under it. The showers were a little moldy. The patio door latch seems to be damage. It was bent and scratched like someone had pryed is difficult to lock and unlock. It looks Several of the outlets didn't work. The kitchen was poorly stocked with cooking pans. One frying pan, no sheet pans, most of what was there was burnt up and scratched.

Not worth the money!!!!

Filthy… floors hadn’t been mopped, bathroom smelled of urine and the rug was wet, trash on the back porch area with rusty beer caps, mold growing in both of the showers, mold and grime in kitchen sink. And when cleaning was done on the front door, straight bleach was splashed on the door and overhead. Took the trash out and immediately noticed the smell. The door shut on me and rubbed against my new shirt that is now ruined with bleach stains. Reached out to manager and was told sorry. I will say management did send 2 people out to ‘clean’ the condo. They showed up with spray and a rag, and wasted our beach time while they did what they supposed to have done the first time. Not to mention, we saw them come down the condo pier the next day to enjoy the beach. I found this a bit confusing. The beach was amazing, but I will not return to this location nor this company in the future.

Needs a deep cleaning! But it’s a beautiful place.

Pros: Nicely decorated condo. Well equipped kitchen. Great location to pool and beach. Indoor pool was great. Plenty of room for 6-8 people. King bed was very comfortable. The other beds were comfortable too. Outside furnishings were perfect for our family. Bbq grill was nice and the area was perfect. Outside bathrooms were clean. Office staff was very helpful. Cons: When entering property you have to push the # sign then the number, it wasn’t clear on instructions so remember to do that, it will save you a call to the office. Maintenance had to be called to fix the mirror closet doors and master bed frame in the master bedroom. Adam was prompt and very fast getting everything repaired. He was courteous and very respectful. The sheets on the queen bed were left off and we had to call to get them to deliver them. After two hours they dropped them off. The office personal was very nice and helpful. The floors were filthy dirty and the rug needs to be replaced. You pay a cleaning fee and it’s definitely not clean. We just made sure to not go barefoot inside. We would rent this property again if they hire a better cleaning crew. It’s a beautiful condo.

Do NOT stay here

My sister, my mom, and our five small children loaded up for a wonderful little getaway just us girls and the kids. Upon arrival the pool was drained. We were told we were unable to access the unit when we noticed NO ONE was cleaning the unit we began to wonder why. One of our little girls (5 years old with Spina Bifida) requires to be catheterized twice daily. Her time was well over due when we were unable to access our unit at 4:35 pm due to the doors not properly operating. With cars loaded to the brim with luggage and beach toys we had to unload everything to provide a space to properly care for her in the 100 degree heat. When we finally were able to access the condo it was FILTHY and unsafe. Bugs on the floor, sand, dirt, everything under the sun on the floor. The doors had what appeared to be old vomit and/or drinks spilled all down them. EVERY lamp shade was on incorrectly. The stove top was covered in food. Fridge had old food inside. Linens had not be changed in weeks it appeared. One of the sliding closet doors (mirrored glass) was completely off of its hinges which if it a child would have accessed the room before me- it without question could have harmed them by falling on top. The couch had a blood stain on the cushion. The arm rests on the couch were disgusting. Something that appeared to be poop or mud smudged into the rug in the kitchen table area. The outlets were filthy with grim. The outside area had trash all in the bushes. This unit was a nightmare.

Great Location!!!

This unit was in a fantastic location! It's on the bottom floor so no stairs or elevators to deal with. Checking in and out was a breeze. I'm not quite sure why but they make you pay extra for parking at this property. When you walk in and open the curtains, the view is wonderful! Walmart and Publix are just down the street maybe a half mile which was super convenient. There were a couple things that weren't up to par with what ended up being a $500 per night stay. One of the first things I noticed in the bathroom was a huge clump of hair in the shower drain... nasty. We were only given one trash bag in the kitchen. There were no instructions on how to operate the cable/satellite tv. We weren't given login info for the internet and we also weren't given the gate code to get to the beach. The smoke detector battery was bad and kept beeping every couple minutes until we bought a battery and replaced it. The ice in the freezer was stuck together in one giant clump, probably because the fridge and freezer was turned down to the warmest setting. The sliding glass doors were very hard to slide. Other than those things, it was really a great setup for our family. To be able to walk out the patio and onto the pool area was so nice and the beach access was right there as well. We would most likely stay here again.

Attn to cleanliness needed

Upon check-in, the code given was wrong. We called and got that straightened out, although the next code given was extremely complicated and long. Once inside, a strong foul fish odor hit us, coming from the garbage disposal, sink area. A container under the sink was sitting there and an obvious leak that hasn’t been attended to in a long time was just left with a stench. After being there 2 minutes, we saw roaches!! Ugh!! We all started cleaning as we like our place sanitary by ourselves. We had to put all of our food in the freezer or fridge to keep the disgusting roaches away!! We discovered the back sliding door doesn’t lock. It’s completely broken, giving full access to the pool area. We didn’t feel safe with that at night at all. This unit is a ground floor unit, so the gate to the pool right off the patio we expected to be locked but it wasn’t. Not good when we had a 2 yr old with us. It’s not a safe unit or a clean unit. We were disappointed with some very basic things that shouldn’t have happened and won’t return to this place or use again. So glad we were only there 48 hours!!

Great place, one issue.

The cleanliness of our room was great, but an adjacent room must have some issues, found a few roaches, but not caused by anything in our room, like I said, our room was perfect when we arrived, thanks we enjoyed every minute of our trip.

Condo needs maintenance!

Door to balcony was warped and handle was broken, was terribly patched and the additional handle was falling off. I could not open it without much force. Called and advised, NO ONE CAME! *Freezer/ice maker leaked and froze ice together *Dirty towel under bed in master *Floor was filthy, made feet black-pull back rug, floor completely different color *Rugs were full of sand *Found misc. items in cushions of couch and chair We are prior owners at Winward Pointe and this is definitely not the quality expected of this property nor of what we expect of Vacasa. I waited the entire stay to address the oroblems and heard from no one.
