This wonderful Gulf-Front Getaway, just steps from the beautiful white sand, is the perfect vacation spot for spending quality time with family and friends. This home enjoys a cool beachy vibe, and has 20' ceilings in the living room, and a very open and spacious floor plan. Prepare wonderful meals in the fully stocked kitchen, and enjoy indoor or outdoor dining on the large deck with amazing gulf views! There are three gulf front King Bedrooms, two with en suite bathrooms, and one which shares a jack and jill bath with a double bunk room. Two additional bedrooms each sleep four; one featuring two queen beds, and the other a queen bed with a twin bunk bed, and a bonus area with a large flat screen TV and sofa bed. We know pets are part of your family too, and we do allow dogs. The home is also a wonderful setting for a Destination Wedding!
There are two community pools, and a large tennis court just minutes away.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The property was very nice and spacious. The open floorplan was perfect for our family night games during out weeklong stay.

Great house for larger group

House was well situated on the beach with a nice large deck and open floor plan. House needs a little TLC but that is normal for these type houses on the beach that get large groups staying there. Overall - great place to stay

Beautiful private beach

The layout of seahorse sands is really nice with a great room full of windows overlooking the ocean and space to gather with everyone, while bedrooms are situated well for some rest and privacy. The house needs a deep clean, fresh paint, and newer and more comfortable furniture. The home needs some repairs and replacements to showcase what a big oceanfront beach house can be in beautiful Fort Morgan!

Family of 14 Spring Break Vacation

We loved the house on the beach. Lovely view and easy access to beach. 6 grandkids loved every minute. Older house that needs a few repairs but would book here again.

Thanksgiving 2023

Great house! Great location! We had a wonderful trip! The floor plan was great for our big family and was very spacious. The beds were comfortable. There was plenty of space to store Thanksgiving food. It was great to see the short walk to the beach. Some family members who have trouble with long walks were able to come out to the beach with us with no issues! I was a little worried with some of the other reviews but we didn't have any issues and had a great Thanksgiving. We made lots of wonderful memories. We would definitely book here again in the future.

Best Vaca!! Thankful.

This was perfect for our family. So thankful. Beautiful views! Spacious. We don’t have any complaints. Was everything absolutely perfect? No. But there was nothing so bad we needed to call. And we’re not complaining. Just very thankful to be there for the week. You will love it!!

Great house, poor housekeeping

Loved the location and the layout. Disliked the cleanliness, the direct tv service was blocked, the DVD player in the living room could not be hooked up to the tv because the av plug had been pulled out of the tv leaving the rather large tv useless, dining area chairs had staples poking out of them, and some beds had sand in them before they were used.

Unprofessional company

The house could have been lovely but so many things were broken or dirty that our stay at Seahorse Sands was a very poor excuse for a vacation. Vacasa was impossible to contact and/or work with.

Great Location. Great View. House needs Attention.

House is in a great location and has a great view. Lots of room and big kitchen. House needs attention though. Had to buy batteries for several remote controls for televisions and cable remotes. We had trouble getting 4 tv's to hook up to cable and had to call to get someone to come out and get 2 of them hooked up. The dryer needs to be replaced as we had to run it 8 or 9 times(I'm not joking)to get a load of laundry dry. The house just really needs some TLC with some drywall repair and paint wouldn't hurt. Some light bulbs were out and when we arrived we had to call to get kitchen towels as there were none at the house. We had a great time but it was a rough start.

Great space for large group with lots of little maintenance needs

We had a group of 18 here for fall break and absolutely loved the easy access to the beach. The huge deck was a wonderful space to all be able to hang out on, and we loved the multiple balconies. The house had plenty of space for our group and really appreciated the huge pantry and second refrigerator. There were lots of minor issues, most of which we didn’t feel needed to be called about. The issues we did bring up to vacasa were very quickly taken care of. For a house that sleeps 20, there was only enough silverware for about half that, some of the doors wouldn’t latch closed and had to be locked to keep them shut, and the pool was farther away than we were expecting. There are tons of “beach items” leftover from past visitors—some usable, some completely broken—but rest assured you do not need to bring your own sand toys, baby pools, beach chairs, etc as they have many to choose from (though every boogie board was broken). There aren’t many options super close to the house for food or activities, but the beach was nice and quiet and we saw tons of wildlife every day. Overall we really enjoyed our stay!

Needs work

Houses in a lovely location, unfortunately it is in need of some significant repairs. The garbage disposal doesn’t work, when I turned it on I saw smoke come out from the bottom. The sewage evacuator pump may not have been running, there was a bright red light on the side of the house and it was illuminated which I think may have been it saying the tank was full. The upstairs air conditioner did not work very well, if at all. The house itself is absolutely wonderful in terms of layout and location. If the house was repaired I would absolutely consider staying in it again, but for the amount that we paid for two nights with the aforementioned issues I don’t think I would come back to this property.

Great location but house needs work

This is our second year for our family trip at Seahorse Sands. Location and beach are excellent. The house is a nice size for our family of 10. The patio is great. The house itself needs some work. The patio door would not close well which made it a constant issue with our toddlers. Dishwasher did not get hot enough to melt the soap. We had to hand wash all the dishes. Some windows won’t lock. That came in handy on our 3rd night when our access code would not work. We entered thru the open window. We were able to get a new code timely. The storm shutters that keep the light out did not work on a few windows. Many of the blinds were missing the rod to open and close them. The house was very clean inside but there were overflowing garbage cans as we arrived with more trash around the cans. The oven did not heat but could have been related to a thunderstorm one day. The pool was great for children. A limited supply of cheap towels. Overall we had a very nice week.

Family Vacation at Seahorse Sands

Seahorse sands is a beautiful, large house right on the beach. There is plenty of room for a large family but as much as I would like to give it 4 or 5 stars, I just cant. The house really wasn't cleaned well at all. The furniture hadn't been dusted. It was extremely gross under all the beds. There was a wrapper on one of the beds, fecal matter on the toilet upstairs, possibly blood on the floor in front of the downstairs master toilet, and when I looked under the area rug in the living room, it was covered with pet urine spots which my dogs noticed from the get go. I reported things to Vacasa and a housekeeper did call the next day to see if she needed to come clean. So that was nice but we were already all in there and I had cleaned and actually rolled up the living room carpet and put it up for the week. There was just a lot and at this price point , the house should've been cleaned thoroughly before we arrived. The direct tv stated that the bill needed paid and so that was done on Sunday afternoon after notifying them. The propane tank was empty but they did send someone after being notified with a new tank. The house is currently for sale and needs quite a bit of updating but the location and space is amazing. I just really wanted to get there and enjoy it from the start but there was a lot that needed addressed. We really did have a nice time though and am thankful to Vacasa for responding when I contacted them.

Seahorse house

Great location, loved being directly on the beach. Large roomy home that could be amazing if it were taken care of. Broken furniture, holes in the walls, broken blinds, terrible kitchen cookware.

The house was beautiful, had easy access to the beach and the quiet of Fort Morgan is perfect for a family vacation. However, the property was not clean when we got there. We had to clean 3 of the showers & toilets before using them because they had hair and sand in them. Maintenance had to come work on the drains because they weren't draining properly in two showers. The vent in the kitchen behind the trash can was filthy, the inside rugs were full of sand before we even made it to the beach and we swept up food from under the counters that we did not have with us. We only had one garbage can to use until Wed., the fridge in the utility room smelled of fish, so we cleaned it and put in a freshener so we could use it and the freezer door of the fridge in the kitchen was stuck closed. Eventually a loaner fridge was brought and parked under the house with an electric cord run up through the front door for power for a few days because the power outlets outside were not working well enough to run a hair dryer much less a refrigerator. There are no toilet paper holders in 3 bathrooms and there's a hole in the wall where one once was. It's interesting that some of the same issues we dealt with were mentioned in comments from Mahaley A., April, 2022 and Mike R., May, 2022, and were never addressed such as the freezer door, storm blinds still not working on some of the windows, kitchen faucet leaked, the toilet ran on and the door on the armoire in master bath was still broken. Our family rented this house 5 years ago and had an outstanding stay. Needless to say we were very disappointed in the cleanliness and the condition of the property this time. We had 8 visits from maintenance during our stay which seems excessive. Renters are asked to give feedback but if our comments or suggestions are not addressed what is their purpose? This is a beautiful property and we had a wonderful time with our family, but all the issues we encountered took away from the vacation we had all envisioned. Hopefully some of these problems will be addressed in the near future.

Nice but needs some TLC

House was plenty big for a large group. For this much money the house could use some touch ups to things like door handles not working correctly, bathroom faucets leaking, storm window coverings broken, kitchen water faucet sprayer broken. Not anything that ruins the trip, just things you would expect to be better. The house is in a great location and great access to the beach.

Great location, right on the beach!

Overall, we loved this home. The layout was great and worked very well for our large family. However, when we first got there and started getting dishes out of the cabinet, we realized that dirty dishes had been unloaded out of the dishwasher and placed with the clean ones. There was food caked on the plates, bowls, silverware, and glasses. The back porch was very messy and it looked like a trash bag had leaked on its way out the door but never got cleaned up. We also came across a few cockroaches in the bedrooms, which is never fun. So, we spent the first hour or so just making sure things were clean and the dishes were washed. Then there some small things like toilet paper holders falling off the wall, a door that wouldn’t open all the way because it was dragging the ground, and a few other little things. We would probably stay here again if we were reassured that the house was actually clean prior to arrival.

The Perfect Family Vacation Home

We spent Thanksgiving week in Seahorse Sands. We had 18 people ages 5-80. The open floor plan is perfect for a large group. The house was very clean and furniture and beds were quite comfortable. I would not hesitate to rent this house again. My only recommendations for maintenance would be that some of the main level patio railing spindles are loose and need fixed. We found one missing and laying in the sand below the house. Also, main level patio door is hard to close. The one item that would make this house perfect would be a stand alone ice maker. We have rented for 3 decades from Meyers, Relax On The Beach, and now Vacasa and have been 100 % satisfied.
