We would have given a solid five star to this place (it's spacious and comfortable) if we had not experienced the following issues:- We had trouble getting into the apartment because of a faulty self-checkin lock that our host failed to check before our arrival. - We had trouble contacting the host about this issue upon arrival because he didn't answer the phone. Hosts should keep their phone on when they know a guest is on their way, just in case there are issues.- He finally answered via the app when we had already solved the problem on our own (we managed to get in via the back stairs which were wobbly and unsafe, in my opinion, especially in the dark). The host told us not to use the phone but the app. Well, we would have never used the phone if it were not for an emergency, so his request was slightly annoying after having a stressful experience getting in. He eventually stopped by the next morning to solve the key issue, and then it was fine. However, we didn't feel welcome to say the least.- There was no coffee in the apartment (this is normally provided).- There were not extra blankets for one of the bedrooms.- We did not find in the apartment instructions on how to reach downtown or other useful information about the neighborhood (there are normally provided).- In the apartment we didn't find any info about the wi-fi (password, network). This info was provided via the Vrbo website. However, if you don't have internet to access the Vrbo website, you are stuck.
