This cute condo has the best location: beach front and center. The private beach has the cleanest sand. The pool however is ok, a bit small and isolated. We enjoyed walks on the beach but also the road which is like millionnaire row, including a couple of exceptional restaurants. We played tennis across the street on an elevated court overlooking the harbor. Many sunsets were observed from the sceened-in balcony. And it must be mentioned how peaceful the area is. Finally, the owner was very responsive to our needs.

The room just across from the living room windows stores the electrical panel. There was a ground wire fault that tripped daily. I arrived on Thanksgiving day and for 4 days had to listen to a beeping alarm. Forrunately, after I complained they had a fire alarm company come out to repair. It took six hours to remedy the issue, but after that there was quiet. The condo is very nice and the host was very attentive to our needs.

This 2 bedroom condo on Vanderbilt Beach was the perfect winter get away from the cold New England weather - direct beach front , amazing sunsets and comfortable furnishings made this condo a great rental .

Spring Break

Perfect location for our family of 4. The condo was exactly as it looked in the pictures. Wonderful beach access. The only reason I did not give it five stars is the pool is still undergoing some construction, so the pool area was not a place we ever wanted to be.

Right on the Water

We had a wonderful time in this waterfront condo. Sitting out on the patio in the morning and late afternoon was so soothing listening to the waves. The condo itself was very clean. Plenty of space for my husband and I. The owners are very nice and easy to reach.

Disappointed

The location of the property and the interior furnishings were amazing. Those were the only qualities of the experience that were worth being excited about. The listing did not provide details about the ongoing construction on the property that limited our access to the beach and to the property pool. We arrived on a Tuesday evening in August and both Wednesday morning and Thursday morning we experienced lengthy power outages for the unit (4 hours and 7 hours). The unit did not stay cool and we were forced to leave the property to find a location to cool off (local restaurants). When we tried to get information to the owner of the property and to try to get some consideration due to our inability to stay in the unit, we were told it wasn't their problem and there was nothing they would do to try to help make up for the inconveniences we experienced. We were supposed to stay three more days, but didn't want to deal with the construction site, possible power outages, and lack of concern by the owner so we left the property and went to a local hotel. Overall the experience will leave us with a bad taste in our mouths and will be looking for reputable hotel chains in the future. This owner ruined the VRBO experience and we will not be using VRBO again. Also, we hope that the owner is notified that their lack of empathy for our situation was less than acceptable and they should be ashamed of themselves for their comments and actions that left us in an unsafe environment.
