This is the ideal Big Bear cabin for your mountain vacation. A four-season resort town, Alpenglow is conveniently located and close to everything that Big Bear has to offer. With 5 Bedrooms and large open areas for family and friends to gather, Alpenglow will have your group creating memories in no time. Relax in the two-story-tall living room with plenty of sunlight, a cozy fireplace, leather couches, and HDTV. Catch a game or have quality family time. The large kitchen has plenty of room for all the cooks at your party. Converse with those at the adjacent pool table or dining table. The kitchen, dining room, pool table room is an inviting, open area for gathering with friends and family. The dining area has seating for up to eight people and is perfect for sit-down dinners with friends and family.

The first level features two bedrooms, a full bath, and a laundry room complete with a full-size washer and dryer for your convenience! The first bedroom has a queen-size bed with a beautiful wooden frame as well as a flat-screen TV and carpeted floors. The second bedroom on the main floor features a queen-size bed and a twin day bed with a twin trundle bed. Bedroom 2 also has a flat-screen TV to enjoy a movie night in! Head upstairs for a fun game of Foosball in the loft overlooking the living room! The second level features a large Primary Bedroom with a king-sized bed, a private sitting area with a gas fireplace, a private deck to watch the stars, and a large master bath with a lower and soaking tub. There is a large flat-screen TV with cable and a Roku for your perfect, private, movie night! The fourth bedroom has a king-size bed in a gorgeous wood frame and a flat-screen TV with Roku and bedroom 5 has two queen size beds and a twin day bed with a trundle as well as a flat-screen TV making it a good location for all the children to slumber together.

The backyard is surrounded by a large fence for privacy. Enjoy the 5 person hot tub or fire up some dinner on the gas grill. In spring and summer, have dinner outside if you choose to enjoy supper with the sweet, chilled smell or pine-laced mountain air.

Home Truths:
- This home allows pets for a fee. If undisclosed pets are brought into the home without AvantStay's approval there is a fine of $500 per pet.
- Use of outdoor spas and other outdoor activities are prohibited from 10 pm - 7 am.
​​​​​​​- No amplified sound is permitted outside at any time. Indoor sound cannot be loud enough to be audible at the property line.
- Winter weather warning- From November through March, all vehicles are required to carry chains in their vehicle.
- This home can accommodate 16 people but a maximum of 12 adults.
- Please note, all persons (including infants, children and visitors) at the home are counted towards the total occupancy of the home. Guests cannot exceed the permitted occupancy at any time.
- Please note our occupancy includes an additional two beyond bed count. Trifold floor mattresses and additional linens can be provided upon request.
- Guests are responsible for disposing trash at local dumpsite in accordance with City of Big Bear policy. Charges may apply if left on property
- AvantStay plows and clears the driveway and one pathway to the front door. We provide shovels for guests to use should they wish to clear paths on any other part of the property.

Accidental Damage Protection: A non-refundable accidental damage protection plan has been included in the price of your reservation. Under this plan, you will not be held responsible to pay for accidental damage or loss to the rental property resulting from you or others in your party up to $2000. This plan does not cover intentional acts of a guest, gross negligence, or willful and wanton conduct, and/or damages caused by pets. This plan is not available for reservations 28 days or longer or reservations that require a security deposit.

You will be asked to sign a Big Bear Good Neighbor Policy prior to your stay.

This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.

As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.

Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.

There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions.

As a reminder, we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, we can not always enforce. We strongly advise guests to please deny access if any vendors fail to meet and adhere to these standards.

IDs will be requested for verification after booking. All bookings over 30 days require a security deposit.

We report and prosecute all Credit Card Fraud.
