Wonderful home

Freyer Drive is a great property for a a visit to Marietta. The house was very clean and nicely stocked with everything needed for a 3 day weekend. Our only issue was a few missing fence boards in the super cute backyard. We were not able to let the dog out without a leash, and that was a bummer. We all had a great time playing pool and the amenities were great. The house is updated and tastefully decorated. Beds were comfortable and showers were hot! When we come back to Marietta, we will definitely stay here again!!

December 2024 Stay at Marietta House

We greatly appreciated how clean and orderly the house was. Everything we needed for relaxing, enjoying our dogs, cooking meals and entertainment was there. We were very pleased that the dogs had a secure fenced back yard to run and play in. We had family nearby and the house’s location made it easy to see everyone.

The house was very clean and well equipped. We didn’t spend much time there ( no cooking) but we had everything we needed. And the host was very receptive to a quick rental ( our original rental cancelled on us three days before our arrival date) and very easy to communicate with.

Lovely home

The home was lovely and perfect for what we were looking for in a rental. The only issue that we had was the door lock with the code. The battery was low and not operating correctly. It was a pain the first couple of days. Once fixed, we had no more issues with the door. I would definitely stay here again.

Nice house

I needed a place that was close to WellStar Kennestone Hospital for me and our 2 small dogs as as my wife was having major surgery that required an extended stay. The house was very clean. The fenced yard was great for my dogs. The bath amenities were nice.Smart TVs in the living room and master were great.When every I needed information, the responses were very prompt and appreciated. I can't say what was around the area as i spent my time at the hospital. I recommend this house especially if you need to be close to the hospital (which i hope no one does).

Weekend getaway

We went to go to Six Flags and the World of Coke, but the weather had different plans for us. It was cold and rainy so we opted for the World of Coke and lunch in Atlanta. Then we spent the rest of our time at the house playing pool, the arcade, and giant connect four! It was as blast and we didn’t even mind that it was rainy out. I also got to spend some time with my cousin who lives nearby and my dogs loved the fenced yard. Thanks for a great weekend getaway!!!

Great time in Marietta!

We were in town for a track meet at Kinnesaw State. The house was perfectly located for that, and we visited Truist Park as well. The house was perfect for us and as described. The kids loved the game room!

Great Marietta Rental on Freyer Drive

We were in Marietta on family business and rented this property because we wanted a convenient location and host some friends. This property fit that bill and then some. It is clean, well kept, and spacious. Having the pool table was a hit with our group. We had to navigate some minor maintenance issues but the site manager was responsive and addressed our concerns in a timely manner. We'd stay here again if the opportunity arose. Bill and Chris J.

Dog friendly

My Family of 7 and our Diabetic Alert Dog recently stayed at this property for my son's soccer tournament showcase, not only was the game room a big hit with the kids , there was plenty of space for all 7 of us. Our very excited Diabetic Alert Service dog not only had lots of space to walk around in the house but also in the frenced in backyard which was a blessing to us, It is very hard to find a truly dog friendly space while on vacation.

We really enjoyed our stay at this house- we loved the game room. The location is convenient to a lot but the neighborhood is not the best. There were a lot of sirens from the nearby hospital and the trains went by frequently. Lots more space than we thought there would be though. We would stay here again but would have been nice to know about the noises.

Excellent location walkable to Marietta square. Games room was brill.

Property is spacious with 3 beds and 2 bathrooms. Communication with rental agency was excellent and any minor problems sorted very quickly. Property is a little tired and would benefit from a couple of things to make the stay better - for example lamps in lounge, bedside tables and lamps at both sides of beds, more crockery and cutlery, more soft chairs (can only seat 5 people in lounge area - one of which is in a stool) and garden loungers. Games room is excellent as is outside veranda.

Family wedding rental

This property was great. Three bedrooms, two with tv’s and two bathrooms made it perfectly manageable for a family of 4, plus a sitter! My only complaint was the towels for bathrooms are very thin and small. The fridge closes into the wall which is fine but you do have to confirm it closes and push it in hard to make sure it stays closed. The neighborhood was okay, up and coming. Backyard and patio was nice to have as yard is enclosed! Great central location!

Atlanta Braves Games

Place was nice !! Close too trust park.Which Braves is the reason for stay.. Pool table sticks are bent up.. Luckily I brought my own stick😌Thought the cost of stay was reasonable but all the other fees added up to costing double the stay.. So will probably go back to staying in hotels..Beds we’re comfortable..For a two day stay with 4 dudes overall did the trick👊👍

Marietta Graduation Weekend

We were coming to town for a college graduation and picked this house originally because it was dog friendly with a fenced in backyard, but because of the cute billiards/game room decided it’d also be great to have some friends over for an actual graduation party! The open floor design, nice furniture and game room made it perfect! The house was really nice, especially for the cost! Decor was nice and beds were comfortable! The few non perfect things include: the refrigerator didn’t seem the coolest (but worked well enough), we saw an ironing board but no iron (but luckily didn’t need it anyway), and we had to sweep the front walkway ourselves (but no big deal!)

Location was great!

The house was comfortable and welcoming. We rented it because of its proximity to Marietta Square and the game room and were very satisfied. Our two grandchildren and their parents LOVED the arcade! However a big negative was the refrigerator. It had no bins for fruits or vegetables and nothing to hold items on the door. The refrigerator was basically a big icebox that would not close fully. Please replace it!

Nice home base near many activities

This was our first time in the Marietta area. The house was moderately comfortable for our family of 5. The game room was a huge plus! There wasn’t enough comfortable seats around the tv for all 5 of us, an additional comfy chair would be great, but for a couple nights we were fine. Owner was extremely responsive & accommodating whenever we had a question. Our coffee maker broke & it was replaced immediately (so thankful for that!) It’s a little too far to walk into downtown Marietta, but the drive is very short. There is an amazing park & splash pad right down the street. Even our teens had fun at the playground! Nice place to stay to see many surrounding sites.

Overall the house was a nice place. The layout was pleasant. There were a few issues. The master bathroom sink was clogged along with the kitchen sink, I bought some Drain-O and used it in the bathroom and it did not help at all. I shined a flashlight down the drain and i saw all kinds of things and rubber bands down there blocking the plumbing. The plumbing will have to be dismantled to properly clean and free the blockage. I relayed this to the host. The kitchen sink did clear some from the Drain-O. The floors were very cold the whole time we were there. The outside temperature was very cold so im sure that had a lot to do with it, but it should not have been that cold. The insulation is poor. We kept the thermostat set at 68 degrees when we were away, and set at 73 degrees when we were in the house and the heat was running almost the entire time we were there. Again, the outside temp was below avg( around 27 F). The bed frame in the second bedroom kept falling apart. Neighborhood was fine, we had no problems but i could see how some might not like. I would stay again as long as its not freezing or below.
