My family loved this precious place for our summer trip, and the amazing mountain view of the sunset was a treat! Our host was great to work with. The house was spotless and perfect - plenty of comfy couches for sitting and reading, well-stocked kitchen and beds for everyone. The distance isn’t far from the park, but the road is very windy and cell reception is difficult so plan to bring all you need and download your driving instructions and maps ahead of time.

What a view! My family of 4 chose to rent this home over a lodge because we wanted the extra space. The house is nestled in the mountains with a spectacular view and great outside seating area for enjoying the weather, stars, and sunset. The 3 bedrooms are spacious with firm beds and can comfortably sleep 6 people. The living/family room is overly large with 3 sectionals that can convert to beds and accommodate 6 more people. The kitchen holds most necessities including a full sized refrigerator if you choose to cook your meals at home. The home is close to a couple of restaurants and tourist attractions. The host provided more than adequate directions with extra helpful information and was quick to respond with answers for questions before and during our stay.

Perfect location for visiting Sequoia and Kings Canyon. Nice spacious house for our family with beds for everyone. I wanted to take the main bedroom mattress home with me, it was so comfortable!

Great house, great location!

Really lovely place for a family vacation! We found everything we needed for a group including children (ages 2 and 3). A short drive from the park entrance. Can highly recommend!

The property and home is a little sparse but it is clean and comfortable. We were looking for a space outside of Kings Canyon during our visit to the parks and it suited those needs. There was a good washer and dryer as well as all the dishes/pots and pans we needed for a simple meal.

Peaceful access to Kings Canyon

We had a great stay here with easy access to Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Parks (it is just outside the Kings Canyon entrance). The view from the back of the property is just incredible, and you feel very secluded. The inside was immaculate and spacious, and it had everything we needed for relaxing evenings after spending the days amidst the natural wonders of the parks.

Great location, great view, great communication

Excellent location extremely close to sequoia park. The view from the yard really is enchanting and the mountain setting is peaceful and relaxing. Add comfy beds, a great room to gather and hang out and a nicely equipped kitchen. What more could you want? Oh - a host who responds quickly to questions! Thanks! Great stay.

Hidden Gem Outside Kings Canyon

This was an absolutely fantastic place to stay for our visit to Kings Canyon and Sequoia national parks. Located in a quite neighborhood with a large property with amazing views looking over the valley and to the mountains we couldn't have been happier. Inside of the house was extremely clean, very modern, and very spacious. We loved all the décor and the host putting up maps and push pins for visitors to mark where they are traveling from (never seen that before, very fun idea!). Also, no need to travel to the parks for sunsets, insanely beautiful sunset view from the backyard and through all the windows if you prefer to sit inside. Would strongly recommend to friends / stay again.

20 minutes to Sequoia!

The Enchanted View cabin is super cute and convenient to Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Park. My friends and I booked a last minute trip to Sequoia. We appreciated the close proximity to the park and spacious accommodations. The cabin could benefit from more amenities, such as more plush towels, new sponges, and water pressure variable. Due to the well water, when we took turns to shower, it was quite low pressure in the bathroom. The kitchen also had low pressure while washing the dishes. However the beds were pretty comfortable for my friends and I. Just a heads up, the sound does travel through the hollow doors so we had to keep our voices down. We really appreciated the excellent communication from the host!

The house was clean and spacious for 2 couples. Great location to visit kings Canyon NP. On a negative note, there is a very long and steep driveway with a gate and chains to get in and out of the property. It’s difficult to turn around in the driveway. The water pressure was not good. We were only able to use one shower the entire time there. The washer kept stopping with errors due to the water pressure as well. Unfortunately we had 2 mice in the house while we were there.

This property, for me, was all about location, location, location. If you’re not staying in King’s Canyon or Sequoia, this is an excellent option. Remote, quiet, serene.The house itself was okay. The furniture was nice, and we liked that there was ample places to sit (some properties “sleep six” but then only “seat four” in the family room). The linens were high quality and clean. There is a new floor and a fresh paint of coat, but that’s about where the improvements end. Broken tiles on the kitchen counter, paint on the door hinges, dead bugs in the light fixtures; it feels like the investment property that I believe it is.The view is remarkable, but it’s tough to take advantage of. The yard is in terrible condition and I wouldn’t trust the picnic table to sit on. There was a pile of lumber in the driveway, and some places on the property have debris buried in the grass. I banged my leg up in the dark for want of some additional lighting.The hosts were great and I am very grateful that they permitted us an early check-in so that we could put some food in the freezer before heading into the park. Further, they were responsive throughout the stay.I’d love to revisit the place, particularly if the yard gets cleaned up to allow guests to really enjoy the Enchanting View.
