Escape to the breathtaking beauty of King's Canyon National Park in our cozy, rustic family cabin nestled in the charming community of Wilsonia. Enjoy all the comfort and convenience of home while exploring the wonders of the Park. Our cabin boasts a spacious porch perfect for stargazing and wildlife watching. Inside, you'll find two bedrooms – one with a king bed and its own woodstove, and the other with a queen bed and a set of bunk beds. The main living room features a cozy fireplace and a large dining table for family meals, game nights, and more.

Located in a small, private community, our cabin offers a peaceful and secluded getaway with easy access to all the Park has to offer. While the roads can be rough, they are still passable by car. However, in the event of heavy snow, we may have to cancel your reservation for safety reasons. But don't worry – we will do our best to find alternative accommodations for you or provide a full refund.

Please note that access to our cabin is through the entrance to King's Canyon National Park and park entrance fees will apply. However, the stunning natural beauty and unforgettable experiences you'll have here will be well worth it. Couldn't beat the location. We had family camping at Sunset Campground, so this made coordinating a breeze. Though the listing states WIFI we did not have it and no networks were available, but it wasn't needed as it was great to disconnect and explore the parks. There were plenty of amenities provided.

I loved it, it was just what I was expecting. It was kinda hard to find the door with the key lock but we eventually found it (walkway?). Very clean and fully stocked with kitchen supplies. Fridge/freezer, microwave, stove, coffee maker, etc. The wife thought it was odd to have the 2 bathrooms in the same guest room. It was kinda why we needed 2 bathrooms with my son. The boy wasn’t to happy as there was no wifi or cable (need dvd w/ dvds). That just made for more family time with the suppled board games (Yahtzee/cards). 5 min from the village and food/wifi. Plenty of deer to see.

Cute cabin, perfectly clean and comfortable bed!! You’re in the park!! Owner was wonderful!

Such a perfect stay- perfect sleep in a comfortable fully stocked kitchen.

The cabin is quaint and cozy, with Grant Grove Village and shops nearby. It's the perfect place to come back to after exploring the park. We had a wonderful time in Kings Canyon and really appreciated having the cabin as our home base. We downloaded maps ahead of time, and our Verizon cellphone service worked around Wilsonia and Grant Village. There is wifi available at Grant Village, but we rarely used it. We mostly explored the park, visited the information center, and joined a few of the Ranger-led tours. We packed an ice chest with snacks and food staples; it was good to have a refrigerator, stove, and oven, and a freezer to refreeze our ice packs for day trips to Kings Canyon Roads End, Hume Lake, and Grant Grove. Still so much to explore; we hope to come back soon.

Beautiful spot. We love being able to sit on the porch and watch the deer in the meadow across from the cabin when they show up. We also love being able to make our own meals. We've stayed at Wuksachi many times, and this is much better by far.

Great location and it is exactly as described in the listing

Great cabin - everything works well (shower, stove, etc). Well stocked kitchen - all the cooking utensils you need. Beautiful setting and great location in Kings Canyon and within an hour of all the things you want to do in Sequoia. It is rustic and the Internet was a no go but we were not there for the Internet. Great place and would stay again!

Benson stay

Cabin was as advertised. Only issue was that lack of Internet in the area left us lucky to even find the place. Also no Wi-Fi working at Cabin nor throughout area. But maybe that was a good thing.

Disappointed

Good location although hard to find cabin. Clean inside but very dirty outside. NO wifi - not weak as advertised. Definitely not a home away from home. We loved the area - especially the giant sequoias and King's Canyon.

Cabin was clean, everything else ok.

Cabin was clean, for a house that sleeps 6 people there were only 2 towels, WiFi does not work so you can’t contact anyone. Neither does the tv. Honestly extremely overpriced.

Isolated private getaway

Simple cabin in charming private community in the middle of the National park. Walk to Grant Grove in just minutes! Homey decor reminded me of my grandma’s house— wood paneling, wall paper, linoleum, dishes. Two fireplaces with wood to burn and an outdoor propane grill. TV and WiFi weren’t working but plenty of games and puzzles. No cell service in the entire national park so download your map and directions ahead. Small store in Grant Grove if you forgot essentials.

Conveniently Located but Dated

The property is conveniently located close to the visitor center. It is a dated property and efforts have made it to be modernized. The heater is old fashioned and is run with a gas powered heater in the living room. There are no heaters in the bedrooms. Additionally, there was no internet in the property. Notes to the property manager did not elicit a response. We spent much of the time at the park and used the home to just sleep in the night.

The listing advertised wifi and even provided a password, but there was no wifi router at the property, so we couldn’t get online at all. The area also had no phone signal, so one of my guests had to travel elsewhere just to take an important work Zoom call. It would be helpful for future guests if the listing clearly stated that there is no wifi or phone service on-site.

FANTASTIC!, secluded & peaceful yet short walk to village

A small, quiet community sits nestled is a redwood grove secluded from the world YET it;s only a 15 min walk over the hill to Grant Grove Village. The cabin is clean and cozy and old worldly. All the comforts of home. Spend a day in Kings Canyon (deeper than the Grand Canyon!) then another in Sequoia. You WONT want to leave! No internet or TV which is REAL easy to get used to. If u MUST get on like, walk over to the information center in the village, ask them for the password and log on for free. Also good grocery store, gift shop and restaurant there. Great communication with the management. We WILL be back!

This property has NO Wi-Fi! The property is a bit pricey for its age, but most objectionable is the fact that you have no internet which is basically a utility in this modern age. They say poor wi-fi but the device is literally NOT THERE. Beautiful stream nearby, nice setting but You have to want to live in the past. Agent claims the lack of WiFi is disclosed but this was not my experience. So disappointed with this property.

Cozy cabin in Wilsonia, walking distance to Kings Canyon Visitors Center. The setting was gorgeous; we sipped our coffees in the morning on the front porch while listening to birds chirp and watching deer graze nearby. The cabin was generally clean but the drawers and outdoor area need a deep clean and the cabinets were disorganized, making it difficult to find what we needed. The layout is also a bit strange: Both the full and the half bath are connected to the same bedroom. We also expected wifi and it never worked. While it was nice to disconnect in nature, because we had no cell service either, communication with family staying nearby became a challenge and checking in could have been a nightmare had I not downloaded the email beforehand.

Very convenient

We only spent one night and was able to enjoy the grants Grove of the Kings Canyon National park. Concerns that we had: 1. A Beautiful grill was provided, but The propane was empty. The closest propane is 25 miles away. 2. There are no smoke detectors in the unit. Due to the fact that there is an unvented gas heater as well as the water heater in side the cabin… Smoke detectors as well as a carbon monoxide detector should be, and pretty sure legally mandatory. This should be given immediate attention.

Great location but not a nice stay

First, no place like Kings Canyon. This location is in a great neighborhood but upon entering, you realize that both bathrooms are in one of the bedrooms meaning anyone sleeping in that bedroom gets to hear EVERYONE use the bath room. Another thing we realized is that for some reason there wasn’t ANY internet. This means you can’t Wi-Fi call because there isn’t any signal at all to use your phone. We had to drive to the lodge and use their WI-FI to check our phones for messages. Then, in the main room, there is a couch that can comfortably sit 2 people, there’s a wooden rocking and 4 wooden chairs at a dining table to sit at. This place didn’t meet the basics compared to its price point that other places set at the same price point. Way too much money for a Cracker Jack box Thumbs down on this one.
