This ocean front townhome was renovated in Nov 2022. Fully stocked kitchen for that gourmet cook. Breathtaking views from the bottom deck while enjoying a meal. Fantastic star-gazing from the private upper deck off the master.

We had a great time even during a Nor’easter. The weather didn’t make a difference. Views are amazing. Privacy is great. Access is simple. The decor is gorgeous and our stay was very relaxing. Even saw some dolphins. Great place to stay.

Very nice Ocean Dunes townhouse in Kure Beach. Back deck was great with shade from the sun, great ocean view and comfortable furniture. Great location, close to Fort Fisher ferry for day trip to Southport, and close to the Kure Beach pier and very restaurants. Be sure to check out the sunset view across the street at Riverview Restaurant!

Absolute Paradise!!!

We are two basketball moms looking for a rustic beach getaway for our two college age sons that needed a reset after a long freshman semester. Both sons play basketnall and managed academics and basketball schedules.This beachfront property provided some much needed rest and relaxation! Our kids were able to enjoy the sun and sea at our doorstep....literally could see and hear the waves from two seperate balconies.The amenities, including 3 pools and a 3 min drive to Kure Beach Pier for fishing were just the escape we needed!A total of 5 in our group (including one at 6"10) and we never felt crowded, the house sleeps 6- 8 comortablyWe will definitely return for a second stay....Paradise Awaits did not dissappoint!

Perfect Beach Getaway!

This place was the ideal escape—just steps from the beach, with all the comforts of home and the feel of a resort. The hosts were wonderful: friendly, responsive, and super knowledgeable about the area. Everything was clean, cozy, and exactly as described. We’ll definitely be back!

Fantastic stay at the ocean!

This property was impeccable clean, and the decor was spot on. The hosts also thought about what incidentals you may need. The photos in the listing do not highlight the beautiful ocean right outside your door. Quiet neighborhood, and so much comfort! We feel in love with this rental, and hope to return soon! Hosts were very receptive to any questions. 10/10!!

Feel like you at home away from home…. With a fantastic view!

Very comfortable property, plenty of indoor space, steps from the beach with an indoor pool available just down the road. Enjoyed our long weekend and appreciated the little extras the owners provided that made our stay more comfortable.

Getaway Time At Kure Beach

We were all quite pleased with this condo, especially with the fantastic ocean view. Everything was as described in the amenities listing. Our favorite place to gather was the deck area which we found to be very comfortable. My favorite thing to do at the beach is to watch the sunrise.and this location was perfect! Love the Keurig station!!!

Very nice stay

Perfect location on Kure Beach right between the beach access and a pool. Nice unit, well stocked kitchen, very comfortable for our family. Thank you for a great place to stay and enjoy the ocean. One note, hooks for wet bathing suits and a towel rack for two towels would be a great addition to the bathrooms.

Amazing Location, property needs attention

Amazing location. Two minute walk to the beach. Nice living room. Kitchen was decent with nice appliances. AC worked great. Very clean and temperature was great when we arrived. Very quiet area. Loved the resort. Neighbors were very nice and helpful. The property left a fair amount to be desired. Sliding glass doors on patio are old, don't latch, are sticky, and are opaque from age, which takes away from what would otherwise be a beautiful ocean view. Curtains for sliding glass doors are difficult to maneuver. Deck chairs/table are too low...can't see the ocean over the railing while sitting in them. All the adjacent condos there have pub tables/chairs so you can see the ocean while seated. The master bed mattress is a reverse hammock, quite used. Master shower is a dated tub shower. Very little closet space and what is there is taken up by the owner's stuff. Kitchen cabinets were packed with the owner's stuff such that we barely had any space to put our groceries. Decorations in the condo were sparse...felt cold. Check-in: We were a few hours away when the owner called and said they were leaving for a cruise and the keypad on the door didnt work. She decided that she was going to fix it after our stay. Pretty big inconvenience (and stress) to have to share a key with multiple people. All in all, the location was great. We will likely be back to Kure Beach and even this resort but will find a place that is more updated.

Paradise truly awaits!

We had the best week last week at Paradise A'Waits! Cherylle was an excellent host before, during and after the trip. The sunrises were absolutely amazing from the top deck. We lucked up with beautiful weather as well. Although the rip current was rough, we felt very safe with a lifeguard within feet of us. This place was clean and well-organized. We liked the two-level concept. If we had any concerns or issues, Cherylle was quick to address. We would love to return to their beautiful beach home. Thanks Cherylle and Jon for the memories!

My husband and I are from St. Louis, MO. When our daughter decided to go to school in Wilmington, I knew we had to have a place to visit her. We wanted a place for our family to enjoy all that Wilmington has to offer. There are so many adventures your family can enjoy right here in Kure/Carolina Beach or you can venture to Wilmington or Wrightsville Beach. We love just hanging at our beach and the beach access is right next to our condo building. We have taken many ferry rides over to Southport, both by car and by bike. We have been able to check out the food, drinks and atmosphere of some cool places. We have enjoyed just hanging out at the Fat Pelican dive bar. Everyone we have brought here has loved the cool eclectic atmosphere of this place. It has been written up as one of the top dive bars in the Nation. On the Carolina Beach boardwalk, we have visited a few of the rooftop bars and there always seem to be live music playing somewhere in the area. In Kure Beach, we have enjoyed bike rides to get to know the area. We encourage you to ride pass the ferry, to the end of Fort Fisher Blvd and see some amazing sunsets. Make sure to get there 20 minutes before actual sunset and stay for about 20 minutes after. The sky is constantly changing colors. We have also walked across the street and gone to the pier on the river at the military lodging to view the stunning Sunsets. You can also fish off that pier as well. In the master bedroom, you can wake up to a beautiful sunrise every morning and the stars at night are amazing. We love walking on the beach to downtown Kure beach. We have gone Kayaking with friends and our kids to Shark Tooth and Keg Island on the Cape Fear River. We enjoyed the hunt for shark teeth as well. Downtown Wilmington has so many fun restaurants and cute boutique shops. We love going to Cloud 9, which is the roof top bar at Embassy Suites. Such a cool place to check out. We hope this helps you with your stay at Paradise A’Waits.

Our condo sits on the beach and the views from bottom and top deck are amazing. We are located right next to a beach access. We have two outdoor pools and gazebo that are super close to our condo. We are located in a more private area of Kure Beach. The beach seems to be less crowed in our area.

We are a townhouse condo, which means we do not have anyone above or below our unit. We are directly on the beach and our building is directly next to a beach access. Ocean Dunes is close to Ferry that will take you to Southport and Bald Head Island. The Aquatrium and Fort Fisher Historic Museum are within a few miles from our unit.
