The home was as it appears in the photos. I did not receive an email before check-in like I usually do with rentals. I had to message the host to get the specifics. While we loved the 2 pm check-in, we were surprised the home was unlocked, with keys on the kitchen counter. I would suggest a keypad front door lock. The home was clean and tidy. The furniture is a bit dated, with the kitchen chairs becoming very uncomfortable after about ten minutes of sitting on them. The kitchen is lacking a lot of everyday essentials like a large pasta bowl, a pasta spoon, a wine bottle opener, a garlic press, a citrus squeezer, and it could use more flatware and coffee mugs as well. The teflon skillets are scratched and need replacing. The beds were comfortable but the pillows are past their prime. The ensuite bathroom was very nice and well appointed; however, my friends reported the hall bathroom lacked a bath mat. The jacuzzi instructions were confusing but while we were trying to get it working, the pool man arrived. Even he was puzzled at first; however, he did get it turned on for us. We loved the location of the home. It is on a quiet cul-de-sac and very near lots of grocery store options as well as downtown. Although it is not far from the airport, we did not hear any planes while we were in the home and only heard one very slightly when we were outside. We were not given any checkout procedures and when I messaged the host inquiring about them, I got no response. We enjoyed our stay
