Boasting a prime location within walking distance to Main St. and conveniently located next to the bus stop for a free ride to skiing, this two-story, family-friendly townhouse will be the perfect choice for your next ski-cation! As soon as you enter this delightful retreat, you will be welcomed by a spacious and light-filled open floor plan showcasing gorgeous wooden accents here and there, adding an elegant yet rustic touch to your stay. The living room is the coziest place to hang out, especially by the gas fireplace during chilly days. This is a great spot to watch your favorite movies and shows on the flatscreen Smart TV with cable or challenge your friends to an exciting board game! The chef of the group will work wonders using all the modern, stainless steel appliances available in the well-equipped kitchen, and coffee lovers will be delighted by the espresso machine. Nothing will relax you more than the fresh mountain air that you can easily enjoy from your private, second-floor balcony. Actually, something that will relax you for sure is the community hot tub that you and your loved ones will have access to! This home's two bedrooms are located on the first floor along with two full bathrooms, offering a nice sense of privacy from the main living space on the second floor.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). The condo was about a mile away from the gondola and a very short walk to all the restaurants and shops along Main St. The heated garage was a nice bonus to this condo. We were able to leave all of our ski gear in the garage after we were done for the day. There are so many things to do in or around Breckenridge. In addition to skiing, we went on a sleigh ride, toured an ice castle and took a train ride in Leadville. The drive to Leadville was absolutely beautiful. The condo had everything we needed and was clean and cozy.

Comfy condo, great restaurants easy walk to town and free ski bud

Easy walk with ski equipment to bus stop. Skied back to condo and walked across parking lot. Heated garage, jacuzzi, comfy beds. Coffee pot and washer/dryer a plus!

Review of “Take a Break in Breck” property 9/23-9/30 2022

The pros: Great location, very easy walk to downtown Breck. The cons: Upon arrival, we found the master toilet and the guest TV both inoperable. Despite immediate and frequent calls to Vacasa, the issues were not resolved until the very end of our trip. Additionally, not all listed amenities were available. There was no espresso machine at the unit despite being listed as a perk for the unit.

House was nice and clean, however; the showers were only hot for the first few minutes. There was also a lot of noise transmission was the other units.

Nice condo, but VaCasa is hard to reach when we had some issues with the property.

Upon arriving, the garage door opener was missing. We contacted VaCasa and they did not help us out. My husband finally dug around in enough drawers and found it. Then we turned the tv’s on and 2 out of the 3 did not work. We called VaCasa again, and they finally sent someone out late at night. He couldn’t fix them so he came back the next day to try to fix them again, but had no luck. Unfortunately, we had to sit around at the condo waiting on the technician those 2 days and missed out on getting to go on some planned hikes, which was the purpose of vacationing in this region. It has been a very frustrating experience because VaCasa is not communicating with us very well about this inconvenience. I would like to say that the property itself was in a great location and was nice other than misplaced items and televisions not working.

Great location but….

The location of this unit was its best feature. The unit is small and crammed, the linens and pillows are stained, old and uncomfortable. The bed was lumpy. There is nothing to cook with in the kitchen. It’s as if the kitchen was stocked from the dollar store. The grill didn’t work properly. The toilet in the master bath ran non-stop and Vacasa asked us to keep an eye on it and jiggle it as needed because they didn’t know how to fix it. Location was amazing but that’s about it.

Amazing place!

Our time here was nothing short of amazing! It fit our family of six comfortably, thanks to the sofa bed. The short walk to Main Street was great. We walked to places to eat, ice cream shops, and just exploring the town. The hikes right outside the door were also a great option! The kitchen and grill allowed us to eat home cooked meals during our stay. Thanks for a wonderful retreat away from our normal routine!

Great location but smaller than anticipated.

Our visit in late summer. The location was great, just a short walk to Main Street and a bit longer to the Gondola which was free to ride in the summer. The kitchen was well stocked and the beds quite comfortable. Having a connected garage was wonderful. We had an issue with the password but the "online" agent was helpful and after three tries we were finally able to connect. However, the condo was much smaller than we had anticipated. Online, it appeared to be a much larger space. Cleanliness was a bit of an issue, as we found a "petrified" banana peel in plain sight where the games were stored and the throw rug in the downstairs hallway had to be moved to prevent a tripping issue. It was full of dirt, sand and rocks. We just moved it out of the way and into the garage. It needed to be replaced or thoroughly cleaned. Although there was no mountain view, the upstairs deck was a nice place to sit and relax in the pine-filled setting. Price did seem a bit high, but the location may have been the reason.

Dream Spot

Came here for 4 nights during Spring Break and it was the perfect spot!!! So easy to get to the ski slopes & to all the great spots on Main St - definitely recommend for a mountain getaway!!

Amazing Condo!!

We had a group of 6 college friends reuniting for the weekend from all over the country and this place was perfect! A homey and cute condo with amazing access to both the ski slopes and downtown Breckenridge!! Walking distance to all the town has to offer, which we greatly enjoyed. Would 10/10 recommend!
